Daycare was terrible back then the manager who is now retired keep calling me and ask if there is problem with me and hubby marriage and talk about how naughty my baby was. Glad that she left. It’s a great school and daycare otherwise.

Great learning enviorment. Clean and staff is friendly! After-school chinese program is an excellent program. School and pricipal are chinese, great for families that don't know how to speak english fluently. However the school only focuses on Mandarin cultures and languages and not as much French. The school's does learn French but classes get very off topic.

Why attend a school where diversity is practically non-existent, and values are decidedly early 20th century?
Individuality is not only frowned upon, but actually actively discouraged.
Add to it a heavily dose of HK-style colonial subservience, and that more or less encapsulated the whole experience.

Would you like to limit your child's interaction with a true cross-section of society? If so, send them to a religious school!
Not narrowly construed enough? Okay, let's add an extra filter, by sending them to a Catholic school that is predominantly Chinese!
Still the possibity of too much diversity? Make sure that the bulk of the students' families are from Hong Kong!
There you go, you have now limited your child's interaction to ONLY those who are basically the same as themselves!
Great way to narrow their horizon and world view!
Went there briefly as an elementary school student, before parents decided that going to public school would better prepare me for life in Canada. Thank God (haha!) they did!

I've been a student at this school for 8 years and I'm gonna be graduating in 2 weeks, being in SFX was a really fun, and amazing experience.

I am graduating in 2 weeks and i have been a student at sfx for 5 years now! Being at sfx was a really fun experience for me as i got to meet a lot of new people, everybody was so kind and memorable!
