Stag's Hollow Winery

J’avais rendez-vous dans ce vignoble, mais je n’avais vraiment aucune attente. À ma grande surprise, j’ai dégusté des vins de grandes qualités mais surtout des vins différents: un rosé à base de Dolcetto, un merlot qui a du corps, un blanc albarino. Mais surtout des rouges dolcetto et trempranillo. Merci à Fred qui est un passionné des vins et qui aiment communiquer ses connaissances.

Great experience, Lloyd was great, and all the wines in the tasting were very good. Left with a case, and will be back.

Very highly recommend visiting here! Every single wine we tried was a win. The frizzante and Vidal especially were a standout. Joanne was the one who did our tastings and she was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the winery and I appreciate how she explained the wines that weren't open as well rather than just the ones we were tasting.

I highly recommend going.

Upon arrival we were asked to wait outside and we were told we could visit the food truck. The food truck wasn't even open.so we waited outside for approximately 15 minutes before re-entering where we saw a group which had just arrived was now tasting wine. None of the two employees addressed us so we just decided to leave. We are very disappointed as we will never be able to taste this Vineyard as our guest experience was unacceptable.

We enjoyed such a friendly, down to earth, and honest tasting here. Jill was amazing and very generous with her time, pours and knowledge. We especially loved the Muscat Frizzante for a hot summer day, and enjoyed Jill's recommendation to head next door for lunch afterward. Cute little stopover if you’re doing this circuit (which also includes Noble Ridge and Liquidity, both of which are absolutely fabulous). Stag’s Hollow was also the rare winery where almost every wine we tasted was something we wanted to purchase. Simple yet elegant.

These people are great. Took the girlfriend up to Osoyoos and wanted to hit up Stags after ordering up a spring wine kit. Well, it there wasn't a hand written note saying thank you for the order. Not computer generated, someone took the time to write it out. So I called up and joined their wine club. So after stopping by, glad I did. Great wine, and amazing people to deal with.

The best complete wine tasting I have had from my experiences in the Okanagan. A balance of interesting wines and some great fortified wines to taste. Jill provided background, history and texture to the winery and the wines to make this a complete tasting. Great wines, great experience.

We had a very informative and fun tasting with Julie here. The wines were also great — much more diverse and interesting than the usual Okanagan menu. Julie even gave us tips on where else to visit. Highly recommended!
