Stanley Park Pitch & Putt

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE - came two days in a row only to be turned away for a number of RIDICULOUS reasons. I had been here once previous and thought the course was kept very well, acknowledgment to the the fantastic work of the groundsman, however the staff at the counter can only be described as lazy and rude. The first day we turned up we qued for 30 mins only to be told club rentals closed at 5: 30. We later saw via Instagram that friends of ours rented clubs at 6: 50. So we were lied to. We then came back today at 4: 50 where a different lady talked down to us and said rentals were closed repeating “sorry honey it’s non negotiable”. How patronising. She said she was low on clubs although I could clearly see there was lots behind her and that she was worried about people leaving clubs in the bushes, strange. The one and only time I played the course we took under 2 hours to play 18 holes. We even said we would pay full and come back early to allow the staff to finish early. She then rebutted with a cheeky response. Management should really have a look into the staffs behaviour. I will never be back due to these experiences $50 down the drain in Ubers over 2 days just to be treated terribly.

My wife and family came here yesterday (October 15,2022) to take in the scenery and golf got in the way. No, it was a lot of fun and entertaining. Even though we had to wait on a few holes, it was still awesome. The only knock was that they had aerated the greens and put sand down as part of their maintenance. Still, a good time was had by all! ️‍️

Lovely 18 hole course, well looked after and visited by locals and visitors, all abilities. Clubs were slightly old and dirty but overall a great experience and a lovely afternoon

Friendly Staff and a gorgeous well-kept course! My only warning is that you may not want to go at a busy time - sometimes we will go elsewhere because we know we will have to wait at each hole if we came here. Pay Parking.

Great course and great prices. I think we caught the main staff member (person behind the window) on a bad day because she was legitimately hostile. She put a weird start on the day, but the course is unreal.

Decent pitch and putt course. The variety is great and the course is decently maintained. Overall a great experience, though I have to say that some of the tee-off areas are not flat enough for an ideal shot.

Friendly staff and great value. I highly recommend this place to have great little round of golf!

Great course normally but greens are just being redone and aerated for summer at the moment and are in very bad condition, only front 9 open today and still full price. Stay away for a few weeks if possible.

Had a really good time here! Bring your own clubs. Ground was pretty soft on some holes. Might be better if it was a drier week.

Great little spot for Saturday afternoon. The only downside is that the front desk lady won't allow a pushcart to be brought to course.

Open year round due to Covid. Busy on weekends, ahhh any sunny day now. Greens in good condition.

Did a round the first week of December. Beautiful sunset views. And right across from the brewery.

The oldest pits and putt in Canada. Deep rough makes hitting the green essential. Fun and historic little course. Built in the 30s!

Love coming here! Sharisse is always so friendly and welcoming and Alvin always makes sure we are taken care of. Can't say enough good things about this course:)

Waited for an hour in the sun to find out they aren't doing club rentals and they wouldn't let us play without 2 clubs each. Only a tiny sign saying this at the front of the line. Staff have the time to harass people for drinking but couldn't tell people they aren't doing rentals.

Love playing here! I have been member for most of the summer and do not regret it. Alvin the grounds keeper is amazing! Sharisse is so friendly at the front. 10/10 recommend!

First time posting golf and loved it. Sign days they don't rent clubs right now but they actually do

I love having a golf course close to home. Friendly staff, only annoying thing is when people sneak in without paying in big groups then you are stuck behind them.so rude!

Great pitch & putt course! Fairways and greens were in good shape, and the price is right at $15 for 18 holes. Great way to spend an afternoon.

For pitch and putt this is a great little course in Stanley park in the middle of the city. The course is kept up well for a pitch and putt. It takes anywhere for a single to play the 18 holes in about 1.5 hours if you're pretty good to about 2.5 hours for a foursome.

You can rent clubs, buy balls, suntan lotion, caps, etc. It even has a temporary locker room if you have a lock to store things.

Great way to spend a weekend day. Takes quite a few hours to go around. Can easily use one set of clubs between two people.

Such a fun activity and in a cool area. Great for a hot day because there is plenty of shade. Give yourself plenty of time because it's popular and you can get stuck behind people for a long time!
