Went in to Staples today to look for an office chair. We found a couple that looked like they were possible however one of the demo chairs was broken so as not able to determine how low or how high it would extend. Got the attention of one of the staff? He had a black shirt on and not the regular red. Asked if he had a pair of pliers and could help us to determine the height of the chair. He told me he didn’t have pliers and couldn’t even be bothered to come over to the chair section to help us out. It was just the handle that had previously been broken off. He was not the least bit interested in helping us. I went back to where the chairs were located and at found another demo chair that had broken pieces so as not able to assess if they were the right fit for us. Completely disappointed with the lack of service.

I don’t write reviews often, but felt the need to today. Shaun in the Staples Printing department provided the best customer service I have had in years. This is not hyperbole. I own two businesses and have managed a few others. His professionalism, and perseverance when I was experiencing issues with the offsite printing was next level. He followed up unasked a couple of times a day. Went out of his way to solve the issue I was having and provided constant updates. I was going to send my printing out to a competitor, but has made a customer for life. His customer service, attention to detail and ability to take charge and solve the problem were amazing. Give that man a raise.

One star at best. I ordered 300 printed papers and somehow it got doubled. The double was printing BLANK pieces of paper so definitely reusable! So I watched 600 pieces of paper print and had to organize and separate the 300 pieces from the 300 bonk pieces of paper (I told the staff standing there the moment it started happening) and the staff member still charged me $59 for 300 BLANK pieces of paper! Lesson learned. Avoid this place

The most arrogant rude location ever. The only skills they have is lack of enthusiasm to help customers. These people need to figure out what customer service is. If you’re not happy with your job then get something else? Customers shouldn’t feel your hate and frustration because you’re not happy with your life. I won’t be shopping there.

The photocopy machines were NOT for ANYONE in a HURRY? , but the ATTENDANTS were UPBEAT iff YOU CAN REACH THEM!

This place has gone way downhill in the last year. That's my Review - I will be shopping online (Amazon, etc.). Or go to Costco.

I went into the print ship today and was served by a lady named Linda. I wanted to get some posters on card stock made up for the business I'm operating. She passed me a piece of paper with instructions and pointed to a copy machine with nearly no dialogue, it was extremely clear she didn't want to help me. I used the machine and got to the select copies screen. As I wanted posters on card stock and not regular paper and didn't see an option I tried to get her attention to ask about it. I saw her look at me out of the corner of her eye as she noticed me gesturing to get her attention but was blatantly ignored. I went back to the machine to try and cancel but I wasn't able to as it was asking me to select amount of copies, the back button was grayed out and I couldn't use it. I hit cancel on the machine itself to no avail. I went back and tried to get her attention again and after 3 tries she finally acknowledged me. I asked about thicker paper and was told that I couldn't use thicker paper in the machine. I asked if I could purchase some and was told no that it would void the warranty. I asked if she could help me get some printed and she told me not today and to go online to the self serve web site. She hadn't looked at me once during this interaction. I ask for assistance with canceling my order and she said to hit the back button, I mentioned it was grayed out and that I'd tried. She visibly huffed and came over to the machine and told me to hit ok, to print, and that the back button would pop up after. I shared that I was concerned it was going to print and didn't want to be charged, she is ignored me and walked away.

I was friendly and smiled while trying to be understanding. I understand that they're short staffed, everyone is, but I don't think I've ever felt so dismissed by anyone in my life. I know it may not be apparent by my appearance but I am on the autism spectrum, formerly aspergers, and really could have used a bit of help and some kindness. She was extraordinary rude and extremely unhelpful. I normally use staples as I've always found the staff to be very helpful. My review is strictly based off of my experience with this one individual. We all have bad days but it's not right to take it out on customers in your workplace.

Clean, organized and well stocked. Staff are friendly and helpful. A few of the back to school items are a bit over-priced and you need to check the regular bins as well as the back to school areas to check and make sure you are getting the best value for your money. Some of the items are considerably cheaper next door in Walmart so make sure you do your research before shopping.

Ordered an item online that was guaranteed delivery in 24 hours. 7 days later and 3 conversations with customer service who blatantly lied 'it's on the truck' 'guaranteed it will be delivered today'. Then I get an email saying ordered is cancelled and money refunded. Item - fan for the heat wave. NOT COOL, Staples.

Maureen is a Staples’ employee who goes the extra mile to help customers find what they need and to resolve issues for customers. On a number of occasions she's helped me, she's polite, cheerful and a good listener as well. My thanks to Maureen, she gets 5 gold stars. I’m a very satisfied Staples' Courtenay customer.

Perfect Customer Service!
Bought a laptop last month only to find out that a software has been a struggle to install on that laptop.

Went to the store and was quickly accomodated. Friendly staffs in Tech Section! Very nice and approachable.

Aaron, the tech guy, solved my issue within 20mins! Straight to the point and no BS. If i could give this guys 10 stars, I will!

Definitely recommended for tech support!

Find that the staff don't listen to what you are sayin, several times we repeated ourselves an it just didn't seem the lady could understand our simple request, 2nd time going in about this an will be our last

If you don't know what you're doing in the department you were hired to be in.perhaps the company should train these people a bit better

If I could give a lower score I would. We order 2 chair mats early in Jan 2021. We received one and then after a week still hadn't seen the second. So I contacted the customer service chat. They said order tracking would get back to me in 2 business days. I never heard from order tracking but an unidentified dishevelled human came to My door asking to pick up the second mat. Today Feb 2 2021 I contacted chat again a character name Gian L.that it had been damaged in shipping we suspect the dishevelled looking human probably stole the second mat for himself and I was told they refunded me, without notifying me in any way shape or form, then said it might take up to 5 days for it top go through. Gian L.then said I could REORDER the mat from them! Gian L.got to the point of only saying 'If you still need the item, please place a new order online. "

Seriously there are way better office supply stores out there. Friends, followers and general public stop giving these crooks money. Gian L.was absolutely useless as is their customer service as a whole.

Terrible customer service, I asked the worker a question about something I wanted he said that he does work there but not in that department than he walks away from me, I asked another worker for help, he seemed like he didn't even want to be there, also wasn't very helpful.
It was a unpleasant experience being there all together, I just ended up leaving and going next door to walmart and spent my money there. They had better service and communication skills.

I was looking for 2021 business calendars and diaries. They have an extensive stock in both and I found what I wanted at a reasonable cost. I will get my 2022 items from Staples when the time is right.
