It’s Christmas time and everyone wants to print stuff. The elderly lady at the printing was SOO helpful and deserves a solid High five! Walk over to buy headphones and got to see that the whole team is great!

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Cody Poitras' customer service. I entered the store, and, without hesitation, Cody approached me with a friendly greeting and asked if there was anything he could help me find. After personally walking me through the aisles to fetch my supplies, he opened up a register to ring me through, and completed my excellent shopping experience from start to finish! Hats off to Cody! Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days.

I just bought a $700 dollar computer, they looked at me as I was not there, I was invisible to the cashiers, I was nothing no "hello" "how is your day". Help me buy an additional product I needed? In my dreams. Avoid at all costs, go somewhere else, Staples does not respect their customers.

I will never buy a computer, laptop, phone, or any other gadget of value here again. We bought a laptop about a month ago, the wifi disappeared, through no fault of our own, and they told me there is no coverage and I would have to pay $60 to have it fixed. I am fine paying for my own mistakes but do not feel I should have to pay for manufacturers' problems.

Great store. Awesome place for electronics. Bluetooth speakers, headphones, pc stuff, printers, tablet accessories have brought me here before. Have also checked out their portable generators. They have a good selection of android phones too.
I come here to pick up FedEx deliveries too and they are very helpful.

Often don't have what I came for or it's priced much higher than somewhere else. But it's clean, tidy and the staff are amazing.

I went to buy a good bluetooth portable speaker. I stood around for 25 minutes waiting for assistance. When staff finally came over to 'assist' me.they had ZERO product knowledge and were unable to power the devices on for testing. No specifications of devices on placards, just the brand, model and price. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE SHOP ON AMAZON! Absolutely disgraceful. I was prepared to spend between five and seven hundred on a decent speaker, but instead I will buy online where there is actually product information and I don't have to stand around waiting for half an hour for staff to assist me.

Went into store to order safe. Sales person was good and ordered safe. On the way home staples emailed me and said order was cancelled and I would have to reorder next week. Waited the week and tried to order safe but now they wanted $50 more. They can keep their safe.

Not too happy. Went online to get some printing done. I could only choose poster paper. I logged and logged out a few times as I was not stuck with this choice before. I ordered it was expensive. When I got to the store I was told that I did not have to order it on poster paper and the Staples website had changed. I was told that once I was in the print order section that I should have searched for engineer printing. They sensed I did not want to print engineering drawings on poster paper but they did not call to find out. I had to pay the more expensive price. No compensation. Just told that next time it will be cheaper.

Very disappointed, after paying $70 for scanning job (over 300 pages) by Staples employee at Penticton location and unfortunately, when I open the file I realized it wasn't done in order just randomly. Now I have to redo it again, so upset.
I wasn't planning to give any star but if I don't, I won't be able to post my review?

Joe and his team in the Electronic and Office Furniture Departments are awesome! Excellent customer service. Mel is another person that should be mentioned! Her patience helping me look for several items was outstanding - she is very knowledgeable and helpful.:) I would highly recommend shopping at this particular Staples store. The staff are pleasant, well mannered, and truly understand the concept of Customer Service. Thank you!

Young computer staff very helpful when my charging cord snapped off inside computer today.
They managed to carefully pull it out and I was able to get a new cord.
Since the computer is only a few months old and charging cords are not covered by warranty. I was very relieved! Thank you so much
I am grateful it was a quick and inexpensive fix.

Needed a Macbook asap for an employee working remote in Penticton. Ordered one at full price online for pick up the next day. The following morning after receiving email confirmation of the order they said the only one they had was returned which was not displayed on the order or online. The returned laptop was cheaper than what I paid online however they wouldn't give me the discount because I wasn't able to show up in store and give them my credit card (I live 500km away). They also wouldn't provide a gift card or any items to compensate for my overpayment as a result of their error.

The staff I spoke with were polite and seemed to want to help but it was the standard large company "there's nothing we can do" response.

Will avoid shopping at Staples in the future.

When your holiday hours say you should be open at 9 but after driving 45 minutes one way from Osoyoos only to find that you aren’t open till 11 and I must be back home to work then- makes far a very upset customer. All I needed was to pick up a paid for print order for Christmas presents.

My girlfriend purchased an EVO SAMSUNG SSD for my birthday from the store from Tanner L.and he also booked in the ticket. A technician by the name of Jon T.supposedly worked on my laptop to install my new SSD. Well, he absolutely destroyed my motherboard by forgetting to secure screws inside the case and unfortunately left them inside loose. I called several times but I could not get a hold of these people or get on hold forever, I finally spoke with Jon T.but I could not understand his accent and he hanged up on me very frustrating. Due to my job, since I have moved out of Penticton but people please avoid technical repairs at this store. I am sure if this guy cost me $1500 I am almost 100% certain that I am not the only one, there could be many others to come. I thought it was professionally going to get installed but instead my computer is dead and I lost everything. All I got to say now; terrible work.

I have shopped at this Staples store for years because of the excellent customer service and product selection. I find the staff go above and beyond when assisting customers. From the managers greeting you at the door to the cashiers at the tills, I have never had a negative experience at this store. Special thanks to Vanessa for the exceptional customer service she provides.

Absolute rubish. Staples itself is dying because of locations like these. I usually do my best in avoiding this location when it comes to buying office supplies, but recently I had to acquire some labeling paper. Terrible managers, unhelpful and unfriendly. Same as now and before. Also looks like they barely hired any new recruits, I guess who would want to work there anyways? Better off using amazon and wait a few weeks rather than visit this dumpster fire that was closed for nearly 2 months.

Absolutely appalling experience when I visited this Staples store. Horrendously abrupt managerial staff, shockingly impatient and ill-natured highly questionable hires. Staples failed big at this store location, guy gives me a fake smile welcomes me in the store from manager to manager/supervisor staff just bad-tempered. I just walked out of the store getting frustrated with these mean people. What a shame, this isn’t the 1st time either there is vicious women manager, highly inconsiderate person is probably the GM a very ghastly person. Anyway, this my most humble review. Shame on Staples for having churlish people working here. For real!

I had a fabulous sales person who encouraged me not to buy at this time and instead continue to use my existing printer until it ceases working! She suggested I wait until the fall sales. Now that is service!

Staples really sets the bar high when it comes to customer service. Surprisingly enough it's one of the few places I'm actually excited to go shop at when I need to. Unlike most retails stores where I have to go on a wild goose chase to find a worker to help me locate an item, at this Staples I'll get greeted warmly 2 - 3 times every visit. It's clear to see with the staff interactions that they enjoy working here, and it reflects on their performance. Whatever the secret to effective leadership is, management here got it right!

Every time I go to this store the staff and management are always polite and very helpful. Joe, the store manager is always smiling, happy, and shows caring and compassion for his customers and staff. Rebecca, assistant manager showed me how to get the best deal for my company during their chair event. Vanessa, should also be a manager, I have observed helping customers and other staff to ensure the customers have the best experiences and savings while at this location. Because of them I will send my friends and coworkers to this location if they need anything from Staples. Keep up the great work, you are why Staples is a retailer leading the box stores during the Pandemic.

Do not take your computer to repair, they are not honest and they do not know what they are doing, the sales man had the right diagnose but the technician override the sales man by providing the wrong diagnose that cost me $ 225 a total rip off, complained to their head office they did not even bother to investigate it (-) five of five stars

Awful awful service by store manager peter so my neighbors computer was completely destroyed. I am not sure why they lied to us wrecked this i7 computer so badly. We got sold a computer by them saying our old one was now dead. We took old and new computers home after a few days and new one wasn't working either what? It wasn't going into sign into windows? And we called staples no answer to phones called and called and called and finally picked by Joe and passed phone to Nolan waited on hold never came back so we got really suspicious took both computers to London drugs, tech tells me there was a Tanner Microsoft account signed into the new computer so the tech at London drugs fixed both computers. Moral of this horrible horrifying experience is not to ever never trust staples managers or technicians. They don't even know what they are doing plus they aren't very nice people 1st they lie, 2nd they lie and finally 3rd they lie. They want your money. By the way turns out we never needed a new computer there was a problem with system bios settings as per tech which booted CDrom drive and when he changed it to boot from SSD no problem except he had unplugged everything inside they computer.

I wanted help with some speakers. Tanner was very unhelpful, unkind and extremely rude not only did he not help me but started arguing with me in a meaningless way to a point where I asked to speak to a manager.waiting for Rebecca but Peter was sent instead.peter was very unhelpful and had a million excuses for everything.and was very unprofessional.

I had the same problem with Peter. One reviewer mentions, this stores general manager only hires students. I always saw new people working at this place. I guess Staples Penticton only hires rookie + immature and rude people like Peter to operate this business. For as long as Joe’s been the gm he has always selected his managers very poorly. All good staff are either let go or quit because they probably can’t stand these managers. I personally no longer shop in town anymore after Tanner lied to me too on a computer purchase sold me unnecessary stuff asked me to throw my 2 year old i7 computer away or if I liked he could come pick it up at my house at no charge and recycle it for me.so, I hired a friend tech to setup my new computer and also to fix my old computer and he tells me there was nothing wrong with the old one it only needed a tuneup. I was ripped off too at this store.

I had bad experience with store managers too. I was sold a defective computer after spending so much time trying to fix it. I finally took matters to my own hand and called HP and got them to replace it. Store GM was away I could not get a hold of him and his tech Peter was very rude to me.

Few weeks ago spoke a Staples manager peter he was grumpy and rude to me also spoke with with another short guy light mustache longer hair Tannis wasn't pleasant either a few days before. I asked Rebecca about a computer issue and but prior to that I had gone to London Drugs first so Rebbeca had no idea and lied about the repair costs and tried to sell me products I didn't require. Horrible experience

I'm sorry but I refuse to stand and wait for a service that takes less than 30 seconds while the employee has to explain to an older person how a printer works.learn to prioritize your customers better. 30 seconds and I'm done and on my way.will be avoiding shopping here for my electronic goods now.

Colleen was super helpful and amazing at helping me with my business flyers. She assisted with some minor editing too. She informed me about their business feature board for new local businesses. New to the community and I had a very positive experience with the printing department at Staples when I came to visit for the first time.
