Yesterday l went to salmon Arm Staples and l wanted to photo copying and stood there for 25 minutes waiting for someone to help me and they seen me but no one wanted to make any contact or look at me

Unfortunately the ratings speak for themselves. Manager is never friendly and can’t look you in the eye when he says no. No accountability or responsibility by this store. Purchasers beware.

Finally got my package from DHL so wasn't staples fault it was DHL and their refusal to locate my address. Boo DHL yeah staples!

The employees never want to help and God forbid they have to help out in a section where they never seem to have employees working at.

The one girl at the front cashier was kind and made a great suggestion to me when I was paying. She alone gets 5 stars. The other 3 employees that stood around and chatted and were so annoyed when I asked for help, should get zero stars.

Awful terrible staff. I don't expect much from customer service these days really, especially not at a Staples. A simple go in, get my item, and leave is enough for me. Not only are they unhelpful, they purposefully interrogate and instigate issues. I can't even go in to buy anything without them harassing me. The old lady at the counter with the white hair is the worst. Not all of them are terrible, but the majority of them are. It's as if their soul has been sucked out and replaced with rotting garbage. What a sad terrible life they must have.

The best retail around. Short staffed as usual but when you treat the employees like people and understand they're doing 5 people's worth of work then it's a fantastic place. Each employee has their specialty and can help you find what you need or recommend somewhere you might find it.

Printing is a bit expensive but its expensive everywhere else too lol

I was in the store yesterday for help with my charger cords not fitting my tablet correctly. An employee named Brandon was so helpful. He was able to answer a few simple questions about the tablet itself as well. I'm not technical in the least - he never once talked down to me or made me feel silly for asking. Best customer service I've had anywhere for a long time. Kudos to Brandon!

Picked up toilet paper and paper towels as well as 2 3.8 liter jugsof disinfectant cleaner plus window cleaner (all at half price or a little better) which alot of people wudnt think that staples stocks these They had ALOT of stocking stuffers lined up at great prices also Yes this store is alot more than stationery pens and computers They are very well stocked on the latest electronics and accessories for those things also Check it out and see for yourself Plan to take your time to walk thru and take in all they have to offer

The customer service here is beyond terrible and the manager was shockingly rude. The experience I had while trying to simply purchase one item was just exceptionally terrible. Laaaazy staff and management. Shy away from this specific Staples. I know I'll be driving to Vernon from now on.

Worst Customer Service. I never seen snything like it. No help at all. Was really dead in the store. Will never go to that establishment ever again.

Terrible staff, especially the grouchy cashiers. Products and printing are very overpriced. Better to go elsewhere.

Customer service and corporate sales policy leaves tons to be desired…. Won’t be spending our business dollars with staples going forward. Customer experience takes back seat at staples. Sorry for the local managers.

Was not impressed with your store today, won't be doing business again, got east indian guy that was rude and he shouldn't be working there doesn't speak good English and very rude

Purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro Laptop for pick up and had a great experience with the Cashier Mary Jane who is always really friendly and bubbly when I go in this location and the Manager Cindy was fantastic with explaining the benefits and promoting the coverage plans even though I chose to stick with the limited manufacturer warranty. Highly recommend.

My wife walked into Staples Salmon Arm May 25,2021 after waiting to ask for information about mailing a parcel one of the rudest lady cashiers walked over and was very abrasive, the young lady making copies was friendly and tried to help as the only person actually working, she asked the manager why she was treated so awful and he said "ooooo yeah well" and she left shaken up. Strongly recommend avoidance!

I went into the store to buy a few items for my bookkeeping and after looking and not finding what I needed, I didn't want to get any help because the cashier's mask wasn't covering her nose, the worker on the floor didn't have a mask on at all and the person working with him didn't have her nose covered either. I spend a lot there but will not be going back now.

We were treated with courtesy. When our office chair was not ready as promised they quickly got on it. Alex went above and beyond!

They never have anyone at the print station; go there wait about 10 minutes for someone to notice me; the store isn’t busy and the employees are all standing around talking to each other. Finally someone comes over and asks if I need help, I said I need something printed; she hands me a card and says send it to this email. A bunch of useless spuds.

Experienced a very rude, condescending, discriminatory woman here. There are a couple of fine employees (Alex in the print shop is awesome). But the gargoyles who hang out at the register are some of nastiest people you'll meet in salmon arm.

Stop harassing your customers. Stop treating them like criminals. We're just trying to live our lives and get errands done.

Terrible service, and getting worse by the day. Be sure to treat (or mistreat as you seem to prefer) all your customers fairly.

Worst service I have ever received. The manager needs to learn how to treat her employees and customers. She has a very big high and mighty tone about her when speaking with customers and employees alike. The store is very disorganized and the employee turn around rate makes for inexperienced people who know nothing about what is in or offered by their store. If they just want to get rid of you they will send you on a wild goose chase to other stores that do not have anything close to what you need or are looking for. Never shopping there again after such a disaster of an experience. I feel terrible for those made to work in those horrid conditions.

Overpriced, even their 'staples' brand is a ripoff. Not sure how they're even still in business.

I did NOT have a good experience here. Management maybe needs to talk to their employee about voicing her opinion negatively about an obviously sensitive topic. Once this employee realized that this was a sensitive topic, the wise thing would have been to back off, not laugh and say "I don't care, it's not my life". I cannot express my shock and hurt strongly enough. My father died at the beginning of COVID, so yes, it's a sensitive subject. I contacted Staples Canada, haven't heard back from them, other than the standard "someone will get back to you in 2-3 business days". I do know this employee's name, but will leave that off here.

Went in spur of the moment to see about business cards. The young woman at the service kiosk was helpful and friendly. School supplies are out and Staples had some really neat stuff.

I was looking for a plug for my phone, three or four people just watched me walk round and round for ten minutes so I finally just left went to gas station next door and got what I needed

I went there to print something. Their machines would not accept my credit cards. I tried two of their machines with two different credit cards. Nothing worked. There was no person working in that area and nobody else would help much. The place is a waist of time.

I enjoyed the chill atmosphere of being able to browse around a little without a store employee popping out to ask if I need 'help' which in some cases can feel more like they're trying to either rush me out of the store or have a reason to lurk near me which is uncomfortable.

Anyway rating 5 stars because the employees I encountered were very nice & polite with how they interacted with me. Plus the store was pretty quiet & finding items was rather easy at least in stationary, electronics is a little more tricky.

Good store overall, however, the phone charger cables are poorly stocked. Came back a few times over the course of 3 or 4 months and about one third of the shelves were empty, including of course the cable I required. 6-10ft USB type C. I know it may not be a hot seller, but you'd think they'd have ONE or two on hand ir on order. I checked each time with the staff.

I was having a bit of trouble with my printing and Ashley went above and beyond helping me. Top notch customer service!

Tried to order $15 clearance speaker on the website. Couldn't get a ship to store option. Went into the store. They wouldn't complete the order - only give me a phone number for customer service. Spent an hour with customer service on the phone setting up an account and placing my order and paying for it. A week later I go to pick it up - still not arrived. Phoned the customer service centre again. They assured me if I went back that they would have my speaker. I went back. Not there. Phoned back customer service and they now say the store has no record of the order and that they could refund me or try to ship again. Forget it. Won't be coming back here again.
