Its the day/night club version of Starbucks locations for west side Vancouver here. Its my new favorite. You can actually sit here its not a no tables and chairs environment like other locations. Its extremely popular here so be patient with waiting for seats i waited for a few minutes and luckily some folks left the table for me to jump on. They got outside seating areas. And its a chill hip environment here. Its first floor lavel so good for wheelchair and dogs can sit in the outside area with owners. Due to the popularity of this location too bad they dont take over the tim Hortons location next door for expansion.that be nice lol. I had a bliss bar and I had a irish cream cold coffee it could've used extra irish cream in it to make it stronger as a suggestion otherwise i really enjoy this location will be back. Its located inside the south side of PACIFIC CENTER MALL & next to public transportation.

We had a bad experience with how their staff treated us. My friend asked for permission to use the washroom before closing and it was granted. However, afterward, the staff became rude and disrespectful, informing my friend that he would be cleaning up a mess. This was not his fault, as the washroom had not been cleaned at that time. This is by far, the worst service I ever had at Starbucks.

Barista on register was really quite friendly and genuine - I received some negative attitude from the barista handing me my drink unfortunately. I realize it is a busy store and many customers throughout the day, but snarky comments aren’t appreciated - please remember to treat people with kindness and respect

I got a drink and I don’t know if it was the tea or water but the water tasted weird like you know when I are on an airplane or in the airport and it tastes weird that because airplanes use toilet water. The water in my drink tasted like that. Kind of like tap water. The person who was putting our order down was a bit slow and was confused but she eventually got it. Cofee was cold instead of warm when I asked for it

I've been here 2 or 3 times before, but today I felt terrible. The first time I met a cashier, she had a bad attitude and was corrected on how to pronounce matcha. She kept telling me mocha and showed her pictures. She also questioned whether I should pronounce it correctly. I was asked to order food, but I spelled my name wrong.

I have never had a bad experience at Starbucks anywhere before. This was the first time and at the Starbucks reserve of all places!

The store closes at 9 but their washrooms are closed at 8.30. This is super weird and a not very practical way of doin things as there are customers in store who might need to use it after 8.30 - this is what happened to me and here i am a customer who has been eating and drinking there since 6 and i cannot ise washroom because of this ridiculous policy. What if i walked in at 8.30pm! I mean most places clean washrooms and then open it uo again! I was flabbergasted!

The store was freezing! Its not cozy like its supposed to be - its a coffee shop!
Furthermore they opened the front door at 8 pm and it was freezing in the cafe - my feet got so cold and i almost caught a cold- it gave me such a ghetto vibe, never again! They really need to reconsider their anti-customer policies and upgrade their management to make starbucks the way it used to be, with exclusivity comfort and cozy! Not a complete opposite way of treating your customers who spend money and time here

i ordered a grill cheese - on the app and later was told its sold out so had to eat somethung i didnt want to eat in exchange for it.

Unfortunately the experience was rather dreadful this time. I took my niece for a coffee as a treat and we ended both getting sick. Was the milk bad? Perhaps. Overall disappointing knowing that usually the coffee at the Reserve is quite good.

Very busy here. No space to sit down and enjoy your drink. And for the cup, you have to pay 0.25 $, just crazy.

Pathetic how one of the most expensive coffee house there is can’t make a hot cup of coffee. Mention every single day for two months. Nothing changes. You just get a giggle and a grin. Mostly because the don’t understand why you said anyway. It’s like beating your head against the wall. Feels good when you stop. STOP! I did.

Come here for coffee and chat with a friend from church. Told the barista my name to put on the cup.
"Ryan" hell I spelled it out too, R-y-a-n

6 mins later I get a Carmel Macchiato with the "name" Royn on it.
So I had an authentic Starbucks experience.

I had a bad experience.twice. I placed tge same order three times and the three times the order came wrong. When asked why my cup was half filled I was told it was because I asked for the drink with no ice. That is the only Starbucks that actually charge for the drink and ice is part of the charge as they cannot fill tge cup if there is no ice. This is ridiculous. The place is very interesting with all the Starbucks regulars in the menu. It is supposed to be a signature location. Staff needs training.

The special drinks are a TREAT! The staff are nice and the line may look big but it moves very fast. Well worth the wait for a special drink from the reserve collection.

I love this place! I always order their special/reserve items on the menu. The only thing is the quality of the drink each time I order them - For some reasons they can't stick to the great quality each time they make them.

Very slow service, drink poorly made and they accidentally voided my order which resulted in them charging me twice. Definitely won't be returning to this location.

It'll be 4 stars IF A STUFF CAN BE THERE AT THE PICKUP STATION to let us pick-up our ordered-ahead beverages every time, the WHOLE POINT OF ORDERING AHEAD IS TO SAVE TIME AND NOT WAITING

It was terrible terrible experience at Starbucks ever! I went here yesterday daytime for enjoyed coffee but it totally ruined my afternoon. The employee. (I note her name but I am not write in here.) she was super super rude and ignored my husband such as a person who can speak English. She didn't try to listen and just said she didn't understand my husband words.ha.coffee was good and I usually like to visit Starbucks but I don't want to revisit here if I treat like this.

Really hit-and-miss with the staff. There are a few who are exceptional in efficiency and generally pleasantness, and then there is ONE which I dread.

In fact, it is so bad that I will walk out if I see the "ONE" at the till. She is abrupt, slow (literally and figuratively), and condescending.

This particular morning (July 14,2021) I saw her struggle with a customer, while her colleague (always pleasant gentleman of about 30) processed about three orders, the ONE (heavyset lady in her late 20's) kept on leaning over towards the plexiglass, YELLING at the customer saying she can't understand them.

She does the same if you have the misfortune of speaking English with an accent. "I can't understand you! ", she will say. Subtle and very classy, as always. Sadly, this is a regular occurrence for the ONE, as I've seen it on numerous occasions in the past.

Overall, the ONE has the demeanor and charm of an East German border guard, stationed at Checkpoint Charlie at the height of the Cold War.

With every passing minute, the ONE struggles to contain her desire to scrutinize and bark at each customer - as if they had committed a grave error (that error perhaps, being unfortunate enough to encounter her on that fateful day).

The ONE must do wonders for the Tim Horton's around the corner, as I myself have on several occasions immediately walked out, and just walk over to Timmie's as soon as I saw her at the till.

Sad really, as the rest of the staff are well above-average in their customer service skills. Perhaps she also keeps them in line, like a good East German border guard.

? I’ve been to Starbucks Reserve since 2019 in Vancouver. The concept of reserve stands out as soon as you enter the store.
The Reserve cups are in black with a golden star in the middle. If you are a fan of Starbucks, you’ll be able to discern between Starbuck’s regular & Reserve coffees.

Definitely try Hazelnut Bianco Latte which is a unique concoction of coffee and Hazelnut which is smooth and different than any other.
Its Dark Chocolate Mocha is also different of you like chocolate taste.
You also can have Reserve Latte and again you can easily distinguish between its taste and the regular one which is smoother IMO.

Where can you buy reserve?
Almost all branches have Reserve coffee in BC.

️ The only problem I’ve noticed in this branch, is the taste of coffee that sometimes is obviously different from other branches. I mean sometimes you can taste a burned taste of coffee.

Starbucks is coffee plus experience!

Very rude cashier. Did not acknowledge us nor did he answer our questions. Felt extremely unwelcomed. Drink was okay but would not come again to this location.

Amazing Starbucks location selling special Starbucks Reserve coffees, and other special items. Big open concept design with a small outdoor patio and plenty of seating. I also want to mention Mark who went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable one. He quickly took a break to talk with us and let us know his recommendations.

The worst service I have ever had at a Starbucks. I asked to buy a light roast bean and the cashier knew nothing (I don't blame the cashier, it's a training issue). Other than that service was slow, unorganized and the drink was disgusting. While the barista was making my drink the cold brew was spewing bubbles which she put in my drink. Instead of making a new one she served it to me and it was watery ick.

As a former Starbuck employee, I was utterly disappointed by the customer service I received when I went in today on Monday, April 5th at 4pm. She seems to be in charge of the shift during the time I was there. I wasn’t able to get the name of the employee that took my order but she had terrible service and attitude. With the new covid-19 restrictions, Starbucks is only taking starbucks app or cash payments. I told her I have money in my app but I’ll be paying the remainder of the amount due by cash. She rolled her eyes and asked me aggressively if I am going to reload in which I replied no, I’m just paying the remainder by cash. Her attitude was uncalled for as I’m unsure of how my answer could offend her.

I never complain about customer service, because I do not know how that day has been for the other person and maybe they are tired or having a bad time. However, I work in hospitality and I always try to do my best even if I am having a bad day.

This is the fourth time I have gone and Justine is the cashier. He is rude, with bad attitude and always rolling his eyes when you say something. It looks he is angry with everybody and unhappy.

When I order a double espresso and request put in a venti cup with over ice. The long face lady with bad attitude and messy hair, she reject me without reason. Can’t believe this service is from Starbucks! Doesn't even deserve a star!

I usually avoid leaving negative reviews unless I have experienced bad quality on multiple occasions, but am breaking that rule for this one.
As someone who previously worked for a Starbucks Reserve location myself, I say this with knowledge behind me. Please get new trainers, the staff you are training needs much more help & support than you are obviously giving. The person on til was very quiet & stood there awkwardly until someone came to help her take my order. She did not say anything after the person training her left. After my order was taken, I quickly realized my modifications were not put into my order because the barista made 3 mistakes in a row with my order. I had to keep telling him to adjust the order & although I understand he didn't receive the proper information for my order it was very frustrating. Not to even mention the several small things I noticed going wrong behind the counter in general (i.e. Letting shots expire but still using them in coffee). As a general rule, I usually go to reserve Starbucks exclusively because they usually have more knowledge of how to properly make a great cup of coffee, but I was very disappointed. A lot of training needed before they get to where they should be. If your baristas aren't well versed in knowledge & aren't confident in their abilities, there will only be a decline in quality & I don't want that to happen as I do like this location a lot.
With that said, the people who have been there longer clearly are aware of what they're doing & have plenty of knowledge in their field. Also, even though he made multiple mistakes, props to the guy who made my drink for staying positive throughout the issue & using the proper technique for shaking a doubleshot with light ice (an issue I usually get at other Starbucks, so that was a little win to witness).
As others have mentioned, it is usually very busy & not a good location to get work done as many students like to lounge around there. But nothing less than could be expected from a Reserve Starbucks, especially in such a naturally high foot traffic area.

TL;DR
Good but busy location in need of much more trainers to properly guide the newbies.

This is the only Starbucks that has the most comfortable couch or sit I have ever sit than others in Vancouver. I'm sorry I just mentioned about sit, because the coffee is the same flavour than anothers. I mean the grass is still green to another side of the fence.

There were ants on the sweets in the showcase and I felt that the staff is not polite. She mistook my name so bad even though I told her the spell. It's not a difficult spell so I think that she wasn't listening carefully to me. And few staffs were in the counter even though they don't wear their eprons. Of course they weren't making drinks and only doing something but it's a bit confusing for the costumers. (Is it normal at Canada?)

I usually don't write like these reviews but I was a little shocked that I had these experience at Starbucks, especially the ants, so I decided to do.

It's like a regular Starbucks but with extra-fancy ways of making coffee. The menu is slightly expanded so if you like coffee, you have more choice in how it's prepared.
