40 minute wait for a latte, no info when next drinks are coming. Difficulty getting refund

I walked in and there were five people behind the counter. One grade with hello and the rest ignore me. It didn't look busy so I was rather curious as to why they're not coming to this hill and acknowledging they have a customer. Not to mention they don't sound motivated and they like to chat with each other. I'm not impressed and I'll never come back to this location.

Slowest Starbucks Ever! My girlfriend ordered an Iced Chai Latte that took almost half an hour to get made. She tried to an employees attention multiple times and was completely ignored. It took another customer complaining about there drink being slow in order for them to finally print her ticket and make the drink. The staff behind the counter were unprofessional. They were joking and having conservations during what was clearly a busy rush for the store. When she finally got the attention of one of the employees they were rude and dismissive. Thank you Starbucks Port Alberni for adding unnecessary time to our road trip, Do better!

Odd atmosphere, not inviting like usual Starbucks. Mobile ordered here and was told they didn’t carry what I ordered afternoon even though it was on the app.

Also no more pup cups? Gave out dog 2 mini milk bones in a plastic bag instead…I’m guessing this is “cost saving”.

The only one in town so it’s always busy but the service doesn’t suffer for it. They have always been polite and friendly and when I have noticed someone have an issue with their order there has never been an issue getting it fixed.

Okay so let me get this straight, THERE WAS A TWITCHING BUG IN MY DRINK BUT EVERYTHING IS OKAY CAUSE YOU GAVE US FREE DRINKS THAT STILL TASTED LIKE ASHES, DO YOU GUYS NOT HAVE A HEALTH INSPECTOR

Went in for my free birthday drink and I was so impressed. The barista totally made my day. Really impressed!

Super slow. Mobile pick up on the inside is always chaos and they barley even shout the name.

Drinks aren't made as good as the woodgroove starbucks. Couldn't finish this drink

Second time I’ve placed a mobile order here and arrived to find the items not available. Update your inventory on the app! On this most recent occasion they weren’t even planning to tell me items were missing or or offer a refund! Just handed me a bag that happened to be missing items, and when I checked inside and then asked where the rest was, was then told they were out of stock! They then advised they couldn’t even do a refund because I hadn’t brought my phone into the store with me. Ridiculous.

Smells good but way to strong for me/ had to take my oldest child there she wanted a cold drink.

Sat here and waited 10 mins for my drink. Many people can after me and got their drink first. Worst Starbucks I’ve been. People were rude when I asked. Would not recommend this place.

I ordered 3 Frappuccino’s. The staff were friendly and engaged but they seem to have no systems in place for making the drinks. We waited 15 minutes for our 3 drinks. The cups were lined up on the counter, and we watched as they made one and then made drinks from other orders. Then they made another, and moved onto making other drinks. By the time they had made the third, the first has already been made for 7 minutes and was partially melted. 15 minutes for 3 drinks while sets of people who ordered after us moved through was very disappointing. When I politely asked about our last drink, there was no acknowledgment to the fact that we had waited so long.

Wow hit the drive through at the perfect time. Usually a big line but I was the only car and the beginning of a big line. Latte was prepared well and the right temperature. Lost a star because they were out of sugar cookies as always seems to be the case.

Worst Starbucks I’ve been to.
I simply asked for no ice and ended up with less than half a cup of my venti drink. (I paid over 6$)
Go directly to head office with complaints as I believe they won’t care.

Not happy the workers close early I went there twice once at 650 pm, they were closed and didn't think it was that big of a deal so I went today at 645 pm and they were closed and refused service

Starbucks has always usually been so reliable in being fast and efficient. However my experience here at this Port Alberni location felt like I was in a completely different cafe.
The girl who took my order was very friendly, however she didn't even take my name despite there being quite a few customers. Also, I bought just 2 breakfast sandwiches. THAT'S ALL- NO drinks.they could've simply placed them in a bag and handed it right and there.but we ended up waiting 15 minutes. In the meantime I kept noticing the staff quietly place customers orders on the counter without notifying or addressing anyone that their orders were ready. I repeatedly returned to check if mine was ready but after the third time the handful of staff were not even aware of my order. Finally I lingered and reconfirmed my order which then they simply handed it straight to my hands.
Coming from Vancouver and Richmond I've seen fewer staff at Starbucks handling a lot more customers, yet they'd work way more efficiently. There were a considerable amount of staff here at this location but perhaps a few of them were in training? There were no indications of anyone being trained though.

Genuinely such nice workers, they go above and beyond. I was inspired to leave a review after this experience specific though, as I have been having an absymal week and the workers were just. They really made my day, and I can't thank them enough. Also try the passion tango tea in the refreshers it's BOMB

Why doesn’t this Starbucks have cream on the bar? Staff were so rude when I asked for some in my coffee.
