I went to this Star Bucks last week while shopping on 41st Ave.
It was 1: 20 pm it was not too busy I ordered a med iced water and a med Iced coffee.it was busy but not packed. I stood
waiting for my iced coffee for around 3-5 min. A young person called my name and gave me my iced coffee which was mostly ice by the way. I waited for my water, I politely asked for my ice water when a woman standing behind the counter YELLED at me that 'water went with the order'. This giant woman literally screamed at me from behind the counter. Booming condescending voice.
I replied that I knew that then she went on to ask if I ordered the water at the cashier? Not speaking to me but YELLING!
After looking over my receipt it showed I did in fact order an ice water with my coffee.
I was given the water but no apology nothing.
I am a senior and did not deserve to be yelled at.
Very rude and entitled staff at this Star Bucks. Careful going

there if you happen to be a senior who uses a cane. You could get yelled at for no reason by a very large very unhappy Star Bucks employee. Shame on you!

Unfortunately very long waiting times. The staff makes it great, there are just too many people there…

Good drinks, nice employee, just I had to wait 20 minutes for my one single drink when there were no line-up. This shop also gets really crowded during rush hours and the washrooms are quite messy with toilet paper and water everywhere.

First of all, staffs are very friendly.

And I know people do make mistakes sometimes but my drink did not come with what I pay for, and it's probably like the sixth time now. Sometimes my drink is made by same person but still taste totally different everytime.

Lack of standard.

A spacious one.
Interior is nice.
Lots of seating arrangements.
Baristas are very helpful.
There’s street parking 1$/hour available outside.
Pretty good one to do some work or study.
The surrounding neighborhood has lots of small eateries as well.

Wonderful energy in this space! Glowing heartfelt staff, classic Starbucks offerings, and comfortable, welcoming space. 10+ Starbucks, another shout out to the staff!

The best Starbucks in Vancouver! I could be bias because this is my favourite location but they always get the order correct and drinks are always at the perfect sweetness.

I am UBC student and literally cannot drink any sweet drinks from UBC Starbucks because of how they make drinks super off and really sugary. But you can never go wrong with this location! The barista are very friendly too! 10/10

Please do not go to this Starbucks in Kerrisdale. I have been going to this Kerrisdale Starbucks two weeks in a row. First time it was so slow that I had to cancel the order. Second time I ordered a hot Irish cream Americano and was given a cold iced coffee instead. I said I did not order this. They tried to correct it, and my Irish cream Americano was given to me without steamed milk, milk foam, as well as cocoa powder.

A great neighborhood Starbucks in Kerrisdale. Fast and friendly staff. Open at 5 AM, Monday to Friday.

Great store to study, lots of plugs to charge computers and good atmosphere. But the highlight is Graham, he's awesome so friendly and kind! He made us great drinks and was so nice! Will definitely make it my regular study café.

Love this Starbucks for weekend morning coffee. Large space, contemporary design, plenty of tables and chairs outside and inside.

I really like this location! They have competent baristas and have never had any issues with them getting my drink wrong. I really appreciate the "above and beyond" attitude from of the staff.

Typical Starbucks location in Arbutus Ridge. Busy as most of them are buds bright and clean and safe. The service was very good. They appear to have a very high throughput location here with a good system for both pick up and identification of your pending order. The staff working here they look very happy. One of the industrial espresso machines was down this morning so the lineups were a bit more extensive and the wait times were a bit higher than anticipated however the coffee itself was typically hot and fresh and of good taste. Location is really excellent in the heart of Kerrisdale. I've come to this location many times and will come again.

Odered delivery from Ubereats and the driver said the starbucks didn't pack it right. Tried calling but no answer.

I bought 10 gift cards to give away as a small Christmas gift to my co workers and order a tall medium roast coffee, the cashier was rude, she wants to serve the other customer while she is not yet done with my transaction. After I paid my bill, she told me to get my coffee close to the entrance. Everyone has been served but my coffee is not done, so I followed up and i was told it’s done, after I waited for 15.minutes and everyone even after me has been served. I asked one barista where I can get the milk and sugar and I was told, she will put the sugar and milk. When I opened it. It’s spilled because it’s too full. I said.how can you add sugar and milk now it’s full up to the rim. I just finished my 12 hours shift in my work and all I need is a good customer service from them. When I mentioned that they didn’t even told me that I need to wait for 15 minutes because she’s brewing the coffee. She didn’t even bother, to ask if I can wait, or how much sugar and milk I need in my coffee. When I mentioned that I am not happy with their service, I was told I was rude, where in its the other way around. It’s zero customer service, for the staffs in this starbucks coffee.

No clear signage on where to order and pick up your order due to covid. Employees are rude and expect you to read their minds on where to go. Maybe make proper signs/direction on how you want us paying customers to order/pick up.

I’ve gone here dozens of times since moving to the neighbourhood and not once has anyone made my drink properly. Employees can’t follow the most simplest of modifications (no sweetener) or get the tea flavour correct. Please read your labels.

Not very happy I waited for like half an hour for my drink: (having to still mobile order and only one person making the drink someone else took my drink wouldn't even compensate to make it right away I had to ask so many times to make it

Speechless.do not visit during noon time.or you may visit 1 month later after the staff will be more efficient.it took me 20m to pay and wait for my coffee.if i would not ask for, the dispatcher would still ignore my ok to go coffee on her tabke and focus on moving the mobile orders on the table- picking up, putting down.picking up again and put it back in a paper bag.picking up a paper bag and put a sticker on.the clients in the store are all helplessly waiting for her.if she knows hat she should do, it is fine.the worst is she need TRAINING!

How is this location still operating?

There were at least 6 staffs on site here Thursday, June 25th, but not a single one competent of running the store. There was a lady designated to the entrance who “welcomed” us in after a few minutes. My friend placed an order for a Mocha Frappuccino sub to almond milk, yes to whip cream and I ordered the Iced White Chocolate Mocha with Sweet Cream. The cashier although sweet, struggled with my fairly simple order. Unable to find sweet cream we repeated my order to each other back and forth a few times. She also delayed the ordering by processing the wrong payment, classic. It wasn’t too long that we were front line to grab our order. I noticed a drink sitting up front asking if it belonged to my friend she said no, she had asked for whip cream but with a closer look she saw her name. No problem. Not much would need to be said so she kindly asked for whip to be added and stated that’s what she asked for when she ordered. Entrance lady, read her order sticker, got defensive and felt the need to mention the reason was because there is generally no whip added to almond milk substitutes. My friend again let her know it was what she ordered and whip was then added. My order comes out and she reads a completely different name, confusing me, she apologized and said she didn’t know why she saw something different. I saw my name on the sticker and grabbed it. Now although I haven’t ordered a White Mocha in years and added sweet cream I was very concerned to why my drink was white instead of an iced coffee colour. The sticker said Iced white HOT chocolate. I asked the entrance lady (I didn’t get her name however I do have a photo) to have my order re made but she offered to give me two shots of white chocolate mocha in the side (ew, what is that going to do?) or they can remake it so I placed the incorrect order back down where she then told me legally she can’t touch it so I’d have to leave the store go around the corner and toss it out. You can say the mistakes are of the cashier however as the face of the store she made an already unpleasant experience, 10x worse. I remind the staff that my order is an Iced White Chocolate Mocha with Sweet Cream angering the entrance lady she asked if I wanted it all over or what? I’ve never been asked this at any other location and makes me question if anyone there knows what they are doing or saying.

My tips for who over owns this location would to be re-hire, re-train the staff, or just shut down.

The staff at this location are great, and the service is quick, but the new layout (the store was recently renovated) makes no sense. The counter for picking up orders is directly in front of the door, while the counter for placing orders is all the way at the back of the room. This means that you'll often have to squeeze between people standing around waiting for their orders to get to the register. If it was the other way around, it would make much more sense.

Didn’t appreciate this Starbucks as much as I should’ve until it temporarily closed! The staff here is so nice, so great, and now that’s been renovated, it looks amazing!

Same as usual.bus and skytrain ok. Walking distance to mall.shop around.you find what you see.

Incompetent staff at this location. The asian girl at the cash register couldn't figure out how to give me my free reward. She said the register kept freezing so she tried to get help from her coworker, named Reep, and then he ended up charging me for my purchase instead. I said it was supposed to be my free reward and he said I didn't tell him that. I said, "she should have told you". So, I got a refund and left because it was too much of a hassle trying to get anything there.

Great location, and a spacious interior. Also offers the new Nitro cold brew, and has friendly service!

I came in earlier today. The guy at the cash register was very friendly, the girl who served me my cookie was not. A white girl with hair in a bun, and clear/white glasses glasses I think her name started with an S needs to work on her customer service skills. I smiled & said thank you as as she was handing my cookie and she pursed her lips, rolled her eyes and just tossed it towards me then walked away. She did this with a couple other customers (ALL female as well, and around the same age as her) I was a barista before too and I understand it can be stressful but when a customer is being friendly you do not just roll your eyes and toss their food at them.

I don't often write negative reviews because I believe that everyone, businesses included, have bad days. However, I have been coming to this Starbucks for over a year and I'm not convinced I've ever had a good experience.

The line ups are always unmanageable because there is never enough staff working. The staff that are working are quite abrasive and rude. And unfortunately I can count on one hand the number of times my order has actually been correct.

Needless to say I will be walking the extra couple of blocks to the next Starbucks, and you should too.

Summary: experience with rude worker.

I ordered a decaf chai latte. A blond girl took my order (very nice person), said "ok" (I stressed the decaf part). And I paid and waited. Turns out they don't have a decaf chai latte according to the east-asian guy who just served me a regular chai latte.
"I ordered a decaf one? "
He looked at me, offered no apologies and literally snapped in the rudest way "well, we don't have a decaf chai latte" and repeated it a second time after I said "well, I ordered a decaf one".

I went ". Then you should've said something when I ordered or when you saw that that was the order? ". He shot me a dirty look and snapped "WELL, I WASN'T AT THE COUNTER"

I realize this dude wasn't at the counter but wow, no apologies for a messed up order and rude snap backs? Does he not realize he's representing the store? Total lack of manners

The baristas were friendly and the store was clean. It's handy that this location is only a 10 minute walk away as I expect this will be our go to location.

Silent place during business hours, so if you want to spend some oneself time it's best to go and powerplugs are also available to surf using your laptop and public internet.

Very nice place and view outside the window. After lunch turns into a library where many students learn and it is impossible to find a place.

Out of tea and sugar? WTF
Normally Starbucks is my go to place but this one really sucked today. They didn't have two of the teas I normally order then could not follow instructions to only put one bag in my mug. To ruin it further there was no white or raw sugar just a sign stating they were out of sugar. I was left to use chemical sweetener which I hate. How difficult could it be to go to a store and buy sugar?

It can be busy and dirty from time to time, but the staff makes it all better. Some of the friendliest and most polite starbucks workers in the city!
