Stasis Rehabilitation

I was in a lot of pain stemming from my lower back and lumbar spine from a recent injury and it was creating very painful nerve pain down my leg. I had seen both a chiropractor and physio before but it wasn’t until I was treated by Rob Francis that the pain started to go away. He was able to thoroughly and quickly figure out the issue I was having. And began to take the right action to getting me healthy and mobile again. This is twice now that Rob has really helped me out big time. And I am very appreciative of him and Stasis rehab for the assistance!

Sukhi makes sure his patients feel cared for and have an input in thier own plan of care with education about thier problem and how they can help themselves along with his therapy.

My husband had a chronic back injury that was exacerbated, stasis promptly fit him in to be assessed. It’s great they have an interdisciplinary team as he is able to get all his therapies at one location. So far he has seen RMT, Physio and chiro, I highly recommend stasis, their staff are wonderful and polite.

Rob Francis is hands down the best physiotherapist I have ever got a treatment from. I highly recommend him.

Dr Kurt Zeng was very informative and professional. He got the job done. My neck and back feel great. I absolutely would recommend Stasis and Dr Zeng.

Harkeet was exceptionally patient and explained fully how each exercise would benefit my sister. He provided her the opportunity to demonstrate each exercise while he explained how each would both benefit her as well as how the extension or restriction would strengthen or moderately affect both use of limbs as well as develop strength. Thank You so very very much as she would prefer to build a cocoon & live in it.

Manpreet was a breath of fresh air. The initial visit was thorough and everything one could expect. Looking forward to the next session.

I had an awesome treatment session with Rob this week in his new location.
I have been seeing him off and on for approximately three years for ongoing chronic conditions. He has an innate ability to pinpoint exactly which treatment to use, in order to best improve the injury and facilitate healing. Please know that Rob’s professionalism, knowledge, discretion as well as his sense of humour are second to none. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to benefit from his expertise. If you’re looking for a great Physiotherapist with a bottomless “tool bag of tricks”, I would highly recommend Rob Francis!
I would like to also add that this clinic is very well appointed, clean, warm and most inviting!

The clinic is well equipped and bright. The receptionist is warm and personable. It’s a welcoming and down to earth environment. Rob Francis is a compassionate and knowledgeable therapist. He is able to connect, adapt and meet people where they are at in their recovery. He is realistic in his expectations and motivating. My family has seen him for many years for various issues and we have never been disappointed.

I have been going to stasis rehab for RMT services for the past 5 months approximately and have had a fantastic experience. I would worked with all three RMTs (Michelle, Manpreet, and Alyssa) and would recommend any of them, they are all incredibly personable and knowledgeable when it comes to massage therapy. I have most recently been working closely with Alyssa and finish every session feeling so much better than when I started. Whether it’s specific complaints or just a general relaxation massage, she nails it every single time! She always makes sure to gauge what I am looking for at the beginning of each session and her massages always leave me feeling fantastic afterwards. Again, I would highly recommend this clinic and all their RMTs!

Friendly team and knowledgeable professionals! I used the RMT and physiotherapy appointments at this clinic and I was never disappointed. The team helps to work around the most challenging schedules and short notice changes. RMTs and physiotherapist listen to your concerns and explain 'WHY' which was very important for my recovery.

I have been going to Stasis for a few months now. Sukhi is my physiotherapist and he has been amazing and helpful all the way. I had a condition called BPV (benign positional vertigo) which to my surprise Sukhi was able to treat right away in a single session. The clinic also has chiropractors and RMTs. Very professional, modern and clean place with excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

Nothing but great things to say about this place. Excellent Staff, friendly and accommodating. The place is kept clean and the services were above board. I did a complete recovery within a normal timeline for this type of injury. Strongly recommend this place for anyone searching for physio or massage therapy.

I had a car accident in the month of May, hurt my back badly.wasn’t able to do my work like before, I work in a restaurant as a chef, lot of physical demanding. Went to this place Sukhi & Manpreet they both are amazing.helped me recover, made me stronger. I highly recommend this place.

After seeing the reviews for Stasis, I had come here for my tricep pain. Had my diagnosis done by Sukhi and he was very knowledgeable in finding the root cause of my pain and taking the steps to solve it. The whole team here is very professional and I'd recommended Sukhi if you are looking to get physiotherapy done.

If you need to be sorted out, from an injury or an accident, this is the place to be. Sukhi is an amazing physiotherapist and will go out of his way to help you return back to your norm. The place is clean and the staff is great. Overall, an amazing experience. Go check them out!

I am blown away by Sati, my physiotherapist. I had severe back pain from going back to work (desk job) after maternity leave. My body just wasn't used to sitting for long periods of time and after my first visit with Sati, I already felt a lot better! She thoroughly assessed my pain, did exercises with me, massaged my back, and sent me home with an exercise plan. She even followed up with me to ask how my pain was. I cannot recommend Stasis Rehab enough! Thank you Sati!

I saw Sukhi for Physiotherapy sessions after I sustained a back injury at work. It was a Worksafe claim, and he was very empathetic and patient with me as I worked through the ins and outs of that process. He pays close attention to detail and was motivated to see me improve over the next weeks to months. I highly recommend him!

I’m 21 years old and experienced a pretty bad neck injury from a barbell shoulder press. Kurt and Sukhi were both great at helping me get over the pain and regain my neck movements. I was very worried as I’m so young and didn’t want this to happen again so I continue to see them for exercises to strengthen my muscles and work on my form for weightlifting

I can truly appreciate a good clinic that takes the time to educate their patients! It was my first time seeing a physiotherapist and I was unsure of what to expect, however Satvir went above and beyond and walked me through all of the reasons why I may have experienced my overuse injury and what activities to limit to allow myself ample time to heal. I appreciated that Satvir also emailed me my home exercises as I forgot them at the clinic. I truly believe that a good attitude also aids in the healing process and I appreciated Satvir's positive attitude.

My one stop shop for all things rehab! I currently see Sukhi for my physio needs and I cannot say enough good things about him and the entire Stasis team. Through his knowledge and and patience Sukhi helped me recover from a workplace injury in my pelvic area. He is kind and extremely professional.

I also see Manpreet for massage services and she is a godsend! I make it a priority to see Manpreet weekly as she is great at what she does. She is professional, thorough, and extremely conscious of her practice. She doesnt forget that shes dealing with a real-life person on the other end of her hands and is always sure to check in to make sure her patient is comfortable. Great team at Stasis.and extremely grateful!

Re: Physio - I loved the perceptive, kind intuitive, encouraging approach of the Physio, owner Sukhi Grewal, who structured a manageable and accessible treatment plan. He is able to "read his patient: " he didn't overwhelm me with "homework" or too many exercises. He understood that life is busy, and rehab, though important, is one of many goals in a person's day. As my injury was resistant, the course of treatment was long, but very effective (after seeing other practitioners elsewhere with less success.) Sukhi's treatments were multi-pronged, using his knowledge and broad and up-to-date skill set to diagnose and correct. He was willing to collaborate with practitioners outside Stasis (i.e. My trainer/Pillates.). I always had the sense that he was in the appointment to genuinely restore my health, never to deplete my pocketbook.

Re: professionalism - Appointments were easy to arrange and appointment times were adhered to.

Re: safety - Covid safety guidelines were clearly respected and adhered to.

Re: RMT - a very picky friend tried one of the practitioners and was super satisfied, too.

Re: the Team/Facility - Stasis Rehab has a team of up-to-date practitioners, including Physio's, RMT, chiropractic. You can access/plan a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary course of treatment. It features state of the art facilities, welcoming, knowledgeable, flexible and caring staff, a great location with free parking.

Had some issues with IT band tightness which caused alot of pain in my knee when just walking. Sukhi was very knowledgeable and explained what was happening in super simple terms and explained how to prevent it from happening in the future! Went for a few sessions and Sukhi was able to stretch and massage out my IT band and was able to eventually get rid of any pain I had. He showed me a bunch of stretches and exercises I could do at home and haven't had any issues with my IT band since. Will definitely be back in the future if I ever need to!

Great and informative experience at Statis. Sukhi was very understanding and took the time to listen then guide me through out. Also shared some great stretches with virtual examples sent after to ensure good technique. Highly recommend to all.

I’m 66 years old and suffered an injury to my left hip and could not go to my regular chiropractor due to Covid. Sukhi was willing to see me and after 3 weeks of treatments and exercises I’m now 110%. My driver now hits 20 yards further than it used to! Highly recommended I now go back for regular maintenance and tune ups.

Had a very positive experience at Stasis. Sukhi paid very good attention and listened to what I had to stay and recommended appropriate excercises and even sent excercises to do at home. If you looking for a physio then consult with them as you wont be regretful!

Received excellent service from stasis rehab, they provided exercise programs updating them each time with my progression and now I’ve seen a big difference in my posture, the whole staff provided great customer service!

Went in for Vestibular Rehabilitation. Initial appointment was very thorough, trying to pinpoint the problem. With exercises/stretches and follow up appointments, I am feeling so much better! Highly recommend this team.

Near the beginning of Covid-19 I injured myself and required Physiotherapy. I was lucky to find Stasis. They were able to take me on with video assessments and treat me from the comfort of my own home when I couldn’t find anyone else. Once they were able to open I was able to continue my treatment with them. They were friendly and cared about me getting better. I would recommend them to anyone in need of physiotherapy.

Went in with what I thought was a pulled hip muscle, turned out to be inflammation in my spine. Sukhi had me sorted out in only a few sessions and gave helpful advice and exercises to help prevent any further injuries. Will definitely go back again.

Being someone who has dealt with various injuries, I have had my fair share of Physiotherapy appointments. I’ve visited various clinics and even stopped attending for a while when none of the treatments provided assisted me. Through a recommendation, I decided to give Stasis Rehab a final shot at easing my back and arm pain.
Sukhi was able to tell me exactly what issues I was facing (a luxury I was not provided at the other clinics i visited in the past). In addition, he provided me with a thorough treatment plan which accommodated my schedule. With his regular check-in’s, we were able to amend the treatment where necessary to make it as effective as possible. I am finally starting to see a difference in my back and arm pain. I would highly recommend anyone visit Sukhi!

Sukhpreet does a great job with you from the start. He lays out a treatment plan for you which actually work. He is genuine and passionate about his work. My lower back had been hurting for months and just in 3 weeks I have seen a great improvement already! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I used to see Sukhi at his previous location and I followed him to the Stasis clinic. I have problems with frozen shoulder, since seeing him again the mobility of my should has increased significantly. He really listens to what you have to say and knows what I need to heal me.

Sukhi is very analytical in his approach. I had seen many different physios before visiting Sukhi and the previous treatments would provide me temporarily relief. Sukhi’s approach during our session was very refreshing to see as he was interested in the cause rather than being focused on just the symptoms. I am finally starting to see and feel results.
