We showed up at opening as my 8 yearold son had a huge matted knot in his long hair that he caused and we couldn't get out. Zoe was incredible and patient and worked through the knot saving much of the hair. Couldn't be happier with the service and effort she put in keeping most of the hair. Highly recommend her and the salon.

This is the number 1 Barber Shop in Canada bar none. It's been 9yrs since I've been back and Tbone and his team, continue to polish the pearl until it shines.

Moved to Victoria last September and have been looking for a new barber that I know I can trust.
Booked an appointment with Keaton to see how things would go and I am beyond happy with the haircut I received as well as the friendly service I had throughout. I am already looking forward to my next haircut and will be looking to book with Keaton again, and for the foreseeable future!

Had a fantastic hair cut by Zoe at Status this week. As someone with curly hair it’s hard to find a place in a Victoria where I can get both the sides of my hair faded and curls trimmed. Should be a no brainer and the folks at Status make sure that it is. Thanks Zoe I love my cut!

Got a haircut here and the atmosphere was great, and everyone was polite. The person I worked was courteous himself.

The haircut wasn't the greatest and it went higher on the sides than I would have liked and my hair just sits awkwardly - I wish that he would have clarified where I wanted the fade to start and end since it was the first time we were working with each other. I could have done that myself so it is partially my fault as well - mid fades mean different things to different people so learned a lesson to clarify anytime I go to someone new!

Hair will grow back with time, so not the end of the world.

I am fairly new to coming here but the vibe is always great. I highly recommend Keaton if you are looking for a new barber. Unlike a lot of barbers he actually helps to give his opinion on hair style and helps me feel confident with a cut that looks good for me. This is really nice because I don’t always know what I want! Got my haircut by Zoe and she is not only a super dope human she also is a Wizard with scissors and I would highly recommend this barber shop to anyone who has hair and go to Zoe if its curly.

I booked an appointment for a fade yesterday and I’ve never been so disappointed with a cut. I’m now embarrassed to go out without wearing a hat. The chick cutting my hair completely butchered my hairline. You shouldn’t have to shave your head after paying good money for a cut. You guys should be embarrassed.

I was on a road trip from Manitoba and was in need of a cut while I was in Victoria. Booked with Jag and he gave me a sick cut! Would go back to this barber shop again in the future.

They had a stylist named Zoe Sorenson. She had specialized in tapered fades and undercuts. She did an excellent job.

After recently visiting for the first time, I can't see myself going anywhere else. Awesome experience!

The haircuts I get are always on point. The lighting in there makes me look like a ghost… I know I’m a ginger, but damn. Always friendly, reasonably priced and parking nearby. I just wish the interior appeared as put together as the cuts they deliver.

Get your hair cut from Keaton! He's a big cutie with soft hands that can fix your self cut mullet.

$80 for a cut + shave that isn’t anything special. I’ve gotten the same done for $20 in half the time but I guess the fact that they put a hot towel on your face once really justifies the price. The cut itself was decent even if they did take off quite a bit more than I requested. The shave took a long time and isn’t really any smoother than the disposable razors I use at home.

Just another trendy barbershop that charges a lot for what smaller shops do for cheap. Went because I live close and the reviews are good but I’d wager they’re either incentivizing positive reviews from customers or putting up the reviews themselves.

This was visit my first to Status. The shop has a great vibe with a wide variety of different cuts and services going on at each station. I got a haircut from Keaton and was impressed with his attention to detail and abilities to give me a cut that I’m super happy with…really liked the hot towel treatment at the end.
