One of the best places to fishing. Nice fall view to walk around. Lots of salmon. Parking on the road. It was packed. Have to be there early.

Great location for salmon fishing, especially for beginners. Fish are concentrated, and easy to reach. The only issue is the parking space, study the regulations, otherwise you can get a ticket. Weekends can be insanely crowded.

Everytime we visit this area, we always stop here. It has changed, not as people friendly anymore, but it still is an enjoyable visit. Either way you arrive by road, it is a nice drive.

We were at the Ruskin Park at the Stave river just below the dam.nice little beach area, there are rocky shorelines where you can fish from and you can see lots of evidence of previous fisherpeople there as well as jetboats that come up the river to this area.didn't catch anything today, but can see the herons and the ducks and other wildlife and the kids had a great time looking around the rocks and beach area.pretty sizeable parking lot.

This place is tough to rate because there are so many factors that play Into it. It depends on the weather, time of day, what you want to do, etc. There are definitely days that are 5 star and some days that are one star. You need to come down and check it out for yourself, it will be worth it on some level, guaranteed. Even if just for the drive down the windy roads or Maple Ridge.

Great place for a day trip. Lots to explore. I believe there are swimmable spots, too. Good for boating, sunbathing, and birdwatching. Despite the fact that it's so far from Vancouver, I am definitely planning on making this one of my regular spots to visit with friends.
