The price quoted was not the price charged. An extra $50 was added for “sanitizer” which we did not agree to. When I called to inquire, I was hung up on by their “customer service” agent. NEVER EVER AGAIN

I cannot leave any positive comments on this business. We requested air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and air conditioning cleaning. The guy said for our dryer cleaning, it's roof-top so an additional charge ($260 instead of $119) was conducted. But, our roof-top for the dryer is still dirty even right after the clean-up because he did not even go to the rooftop. He did everything in under 1 hour. Quick & poor job for $585.90 service. We canceled our carpet cleaning scheduled with them and we will NEVER hire them again. Poor poor poor service. Just regretted to hire them for the first place.

Juan the carpet cleaner was very thorough in cleaning our stairs and hallway carpet. I appreciate the good result of his work. Highly recommended.

Seemed to do a good job at first. Then we had a strange noise in our furnace. Called an HVAC tech. Turns out they only connected to one side of the heating ducts and blew all the cold air return dust into the furnace filter. Effectively only cleaned 1/4 of the system. When I called to complain they only offered to send him back again. Would not recommend.

Great service. Julio was punctual, very respectful and was very thorough. The job was completed in a timely manner and did a fantastic job.

I was amazed by the level of service JACOB provided. I was booked in for duct cleaning, and at the time I thought my furnace was broken and needing to be replaced. However, Jacob was able to determine the problem and fix it within minutes. This was a very pleasant surprise, and greatly appreciated as we are now in freezing temperatures. Jacob also recommended, without being pushy to have my vents sanitized as my property is 20 years old and it appeared they had never been cleaned, let alone sanitized. I would highly recommend Steam Dry Canada, and will definitely be using them again in the future.

They were on time and professional as they went about the house.

They were in and out in 30 mins.

I’d recommend them, my furnace hadn’t been cleaned since 2013 and i am glad i got it done, otherwise i would never have seen that clogged filter.

They charged me 281 for 15 vents and furnace cleaning, it seemed expensive but i got other quotes which were slightly higher, so i guess i am happy.

Obviously can’t tell difference in air quality but the furnace sure looks better, is less noisy and i am assuming efficient because it can breathe.

Friendly fast and thorough service. Very happy with everything they did for us. Would definitely use them again.

We wanted to have our bedroom carpets professionally cleaned as we prepare for the arrival of our first child. Unfortunately, we decided to go with Home Depot-Home Services and had the worst possible experience every step of the way:

-Issues with Booking:
When I called to book the appointment, I specifically asked the agent what chemicals are used in the cleaning and they assured me NO chemicals are used. They said it would ONLY be a steam clean.
They also asked me to make sure there was parking available in front of balcony to allow the hose from the truck to enter the apartment. They mentioned the service doesn't provide portable machines. S my husband had to park our car in the street to ensure there was a spot for the truck. However, when they arrived, they had portable machines so we didn't need to use street parking.

-Issues with Communication:
The technician who arrived offered an additional service of sanitizing the carpet for $50 dollars more (in addition to the $119 to clean the carpets) and mentioned if we are preparing for a baby, that would be the way to go. The agent on the phone mentioned nothing about carpet sanitization so were unable to make an informed choice about getting the service or not. In addition, the technician noted that chemicals ARE USED with the steam cleaning. They gave also gave us different prices in person (the technician) than on the phone for the sanitization upgrade.

-Poor Customer Service:
When I called customer service to let them know that I wasn't informed of the sanitization services and that I wasn't able to make an informed choice, they offered $10 dollars off. However, when I sent the invoice to customer service to initiate a refund for the $10, THEY DENIED IT and stopped replying to my emails.

Absolutely disgusted with their service and feel completely taken advantage of.

One of their guys Chase Aspinall came to clean my dryer ducts but did not want to go on the roof so instead suctioned from inside the home.
This did not completely clear the duct, so I scheduled another appointment where they told me he would go onto the roof to clear the screen. While I was at work he came to my house and did the exact same thing from inside the home! Then afterwards he tried charging another $100 on top of what I already paid and even threatened my 70yr old mom with collections.
The third call the manager sided with the technician and simply said that it was clear because the technician said so, so they won’t be following up. All I wanted was the roof screen cleared. They agreed they would go onto the roof but did not fulfill that and they completely disregarded the technicians threatening behaviour. In my opinion this is terrible customer service and completely unprofessional. The work was not completed and they denied any refund.
DO NOT hire this company! They cannot guarantee the quality of their work and clearly put their customers last.

Do not use this company, I got duct and dryer vent cleaning done two months ago, they disconnected my washing machine hose to access the dryer vent, never put the hose back then ended up flooding my basement after washing machine was put on a few days later, damaged floors and ceiling, they are just ignoring any calls or emails, will not pay for damages and will not give a refund, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!

To put it in a nutshell, stay as far away from this company as possible. You will not be happy with the work they do.

Terrible service. Do not use.
My house was dust bombed.
The company sent me a guy in his first week. Not his fault, Steam Dry Canada sent him completely under prepared to do the job in a 20’ truck that he did not know how to drive.
No vacuum other than the 8” hose that just made it to the door from the truck. I supplied a shop vac after he asked to use my Dyson vacuum.
They blamed management adjustments, but I still paid $700 to have very different experience than the video on the website!
They knocked of $80 for the dryer vent that he left unattached from him jamming his hose in it. I had to crawl into a dirt crawl space to fix it.
Do not buy the washable filter they charge a large premium compared to market value almost double from my research. $190

This was a huge waste of my time and money.
I could have done a better job with a vacuum and a compressor.
I gave them a chance to right this but they chose not to do anything more than the dryer vent compensation, which I wish they never had never touched as they knocked it off the vent.

We loved our experience with Steam Dry Canada. We hadn't had our air ducts cleaned in over 5 years, so you can imagine they were dirty. Conner explained what was needed and why. He was very friendly and professional. He loved our dog too, which was a bonus. Highly recommended!

Recently did a home reno and a duct and furnace cleaning was much needed. Our technician Conor was great - on time, friendly, and did a thorough job.

I booked an appointment for air duct cleaning. They finish cleaning 27 ducts within half an hour and were trying to sell me their product all the time.

They said amazing thing about their electrostatic air filter (also non-refundable) and charged for 189 plus tax which is usually under a 100 on amazon. They also said its a product from home depot but which is apparently not.

Hope they can spend more time doing their job instead of selling their products. Will never use them again.

I would not recommend this company to anyone I know. First when the ducts were being cleaned the technical Jacob used the vent closest to the door and put the air hose in it and did not seal off the remaining vents. That meant all the debris went onto my carpets and wood flooring and made a mess in all the rooms. Next he offered to blow the furnace out to my husband but neglected to look at how the system is all hooked up, so that meant all the dirt and dust was blown into our hot water tank. And resulted in our hot water tank needing to be replaced. So another expense on top of paying for horrible service.
Then when you call and talk to customer service and they do not respond quickly and say it is not their problem.
We have gone with COIT in the past and they are amazing.

I have used this company service thru "Home Depot" for my dryer vent cleaning. I have never seen such an irresponsible technician who cleaned only from outside and didn't attempt to come inside to clean. He knew that the hose was not through completely. Without checking from inside he left by taking money. I checked myself that the dryer was pumping out the hot air very well.
Don't waste your money by selecting this company. Also I don't know why Home Depot have tie-up with this company?
Beware of this company and don't go thru Home Depot.

I was very disappointed with the duct cleaning service performed by Steam Dry Canada. Each heat register was cleaned for under 5 seconds (I actually counted seconds), not enough to push all dusts out. Return air grills where not even removed. I found lots of dusts still present when the grill was removed. It was a horrible experience I would NOT recommend to anyone.

I got a great deal through a promo at Home Depot for upholstery cleaning and got my sofa cleaned. The cleaner was very honest with me about how hard white upholstery is to clean and he tried his best to get it to almost the way it was. I can't recommend them enough.

Been dealing with this? Compay since September when the chipped all my hard wood floors after they cleaned my furnace STILLLLL NOT RESOLVEDDDD

I have attached 5 photos. I had this USELESS COMPANY come to my home 3 times to try and do the dryer vents. After 3 attempts,.. After taken my money... I was told to call another company. They couldnt figure it out.

Ive tried to add 5 photos. They were all taken by the second company that came in almost a month later. You will see in the pictures how absolutely disgusting my dryer vents and dryer was left. Literally not even a care, ONCE THIS COMPANY HAS YOUR MONEY. THEY STEAL AND RUN! DO NOT USE.

I have literally called almost a dozen times asking for a manager. Owner.anyone who cares. At this point someone has come to my home, taken money for a job they didnt even test to see if it helped and they now just hang up on me.

Corey called and arrived on time for my dryer vent cleaning. He's very professional and polite. I'm very pleased with his service and so glad that he was able to fixed up the issues left behind by the original builder. I initially booked for furnace duct cleaning as well but turned out I don't have a furnace! (good to know!)! So he didn't charge me for that part. Overall I'm very satisfied and I was charged for only the job that's been done.

Lucas did a great job. He explained what he was doing and who I needed to contact re my motor issue.

Just had my ducks cleaned in my house and Corey was awesome. He was very polite and professional. He showed me what the ducted looked like after the cleaning. I would highly recommend this technician and company.

Furnace cleaning not worth it. Not servicing the furnace. The guy on site was not a certified gas fitter. Don't use the service. Customer service didn't give right information and misleading. If there is a way to rate 0 star, I would. The previous negative reviews from other people are true. Used them because trusted Home Depot brand but very unfortunate to have such bad service from the contractor. Deceiving.

My furnace is making a loud rattling noise after the service. Spoke to the assistant manager, Lauren and all I got was that we can send someone out for a charge to diagnose the problem.
After spending $500+ and trusting the fact that home Depot will stand behind its service, I get well it's not our problem if it wasn't there before.
Not happy.beware of poor customer servxe.

This is going to be an odd review because we end up cancelling our work order due to our own fault.
Brad showed up all set to do the work, was very polite, professional, very helpful with information and we knew he could have done an amazing work. Steam Dry Canada is lucky to have someone like Brad who has the best interest of the client which works well for the company and its business.
For sure we would call on them again in the future.

The tech arrived to clean ducts, in such a rush didn’t introduce himself, took just over 1 hour (should take 2hrs minimim) didn’t show camera view of ducts as promised on contract & installed filter incorrectly which resulted in dirt & dust blasting through registers once the furnace came on. Shouldn’t the ducts be free of dirt & dust now that he’s “cleaned” them? Took pics & spoke with Rachel in Customer Service, not only was she condescending in not believing us, her solution was to have same tech come back in 72 hours to clean mess up, leaving us with a film of dirt & dust throughout, on towels, bathroom vanity, in hair bushes, on windows, blinds & furniture. A company remotely concerned with customer service would have listened & made this right. We’re now left with questionably clean ducts & a house with a film of dirt & dust to clean up. BRUTAL!
