When we lost everything in a fire Heather Davis of Stellar Jewellers did a great job of an appraisal based on photos and sketches and verbal descriptions. The pieces were original and included sapphires from India and moonstones, another was carved Jade from China. She did an amazing job of forensic appraisal which enabled us to make an insurance claim.subsequent to that time I have consulted her on other gemstone topics and found her to be extremely friendly and helpful.
I recommend without reservation Heather at Stellar Jewelers for an outspending experience in gem shopping, appraisal or just friendly advice.

My recent appraisal appointment at Stellar Gem Services was exceptional. Heather was quick to respond to my initial inquiries, booked a timely appointment and even offered me her parking spot. She spent a considerable amount of time with me, using a variety of tools to analyze my item, while clearly explaining her observations as she worked through her process. Her appraisal report was professionally written, containing pertinent scientific information. Heather’s service was truly stellar!

Paid for appraisal services and was informed the documents would be sent via email. 48 hours after my appointment I recieved a text message stating she would be refusing me services. Incredibly rude to my children and forced us to stand in the hallway during the appointment. Repeatedly approached my 2 year olds face and demanded he be quite.

*Will withhold documents if you leave a negative review* This "professional" texted my cellphone 48 hours after my appointment informing me that I would not be receiving my documents. This message was recieved at 5: 00 AM with no prior concerns brought to my attention.

She was VERY unpleasant towards my young children (besides a brief interaction with my eldest that only lengthened the process) She repeatedly demanded that my 2 year old be silent and forced us to stand in the hallway (outside a tattoo shop) After waiting in the hallway she collected my money, gave me a receipt and informed me that I would recieve my documents via email. I politely asked her to make a note on her website that children aren't welcome in the office. She responded "children are welcome here" and I informed her that this was an unpleasant experience.

I would have happily left is she had expressed that she was unable to complete the services.

Please award her for letting my 4 year old sit at the microscope for 10 seconds.
