Sterling Management is a shady company. Do not use them. They are greasy and under handed. I only gave 1 star because there is no option to give zero stars.

If you want a bad rental experience and get scammed out of your damage deposit rent from Sterling!

DO NOT go through Sterling for ANY type of property rentals. I went through these guys unfortunately not realizing the shadiness of their business. I rented a place through them, and had to fight to get my money back. They tried to keep my damage deposit, until we wrote them a letter threatening to go to the Tenant Agency. Couldn't even stay in the place, it was so filthy!
I have know idea how they are still in business!
I had to give them one star to be able to post this, but they don't deserve any!

Would be great to actually knowing our water is turned off or there’s a emergency, rather then find out by not having water

Constant water problems in our unit (cold water for days on end) yet nothing is ever done. When they tell you management will call you (they did this to me 4 times) think again.

Krista Thompson is by far the best landlord I’ve ever had. Not only did she help navigate me through tough situations, but also worked with me to not leave me high and dry. I would highly recommend using her for any property rentals.

Unprofessional, and rude. They pray on the poor and vulnerable and threaten to destroy your credit rating if you don't move out in time. Showed up late for inspections after threatening to force me to pay another month of rent if the unit wasn't clean enough. The unit after I had it cleaned was cleaner than when I moved in. Awful experience. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!

I wouldn't rent from these guys or trust them with my property unless you enjoy disputes and litigation.

I'll be honest, when we were looking for a new place to rent, we were hesitant as we had not heard great things about the company I'm the past and the reviews they have aren't all good.

We have been with them coming up on four months and there have been a few issues with our rental (some quite major) and Sterling has been extremely prompt in addressing and dealing with everything. Even over this holiday week when most companies have their phones off.

No complaints here.

My previous bad review for sterling was posted out of frustration not to do with the company but because of my neighbours I was having issues with.talked directly to rob Herman JR.and he took care of the issue, up front staff is always awesome and so is the management thank you sterling!

Sterling Management from my experience is a horrible property management company. At the beginning they seem to be willing to work with you when there is any issues regarding late rent, maintenance issues. However once you leave they don't call or inform you at all of a move in inspection, and even if you provide them with a forwarding address they won't send you any information. Three months after moving out I received a call from our local collection agency stating that they were calling because I owed Sterling Management over $2k. When I confronted their manager about the issue he claimed we left our stuff behind and didn't clean the place and that we had broken the toilet while moving out, all the while yelling at me with the door open for other clients or potential clients to hear. When he was finally finished I stated in no uncertain terms that he was Infact misinformed.

I then left and have not since been back.

My Experience had a few issues, first was the overall attitude of who came to collect my rent; snapping at me as if It hadnt been paid when he discovered he was in fact talking to the wrong person he quickly changed his tune; not a good look to bring to your tenants to say the least.

Earlier on when I was looking at properties I found the agent was an hour and 20 minutes late to my showing and ocerall not very professional which was not impressive.

Lastly the roads arent very well kept in the area they are currently managing and they are taking a very long time to actually repave them despite the regular complaints; despite an offer from telus to do all their work for free and install fibre.figured a deal like that was a no brainer?

Overall, Id say theyre not the worst but if you have other options; then avoid them.

I find this company very professionally run.
When something goes wrong, they react immediately.
If you are a professional and need secure and protected home, Sterling management is the company you need.
