Jean-Paul is a master who really listens to you and creates a treatment plan to help heal. Suffering from nerve pain and swelling after wrist surgery, I visited Stillpoint. After one treatment from Jean-Paul, I found
major relief and improvement which has increased immensely with each visit. Jean-Paul is precise in placing his needles painlessly and is one of the best acupuncturists I have ever been treated by. I was chatting with my friend Afton about my meniscus knee injury, who recommended Stillpoint. After my consultation and initial session with Jean-Paul, I knew he was genuine and passionate about acupuncture with the focus of healing & maintenance.

I had persistent soreness and limited mobility before I started my treatment plan & just within the first week I felt the benefits.

After a month and half of acupuncture treatments and physiotherapy exercises, I have full range of motion back!

I have suffered from chronic shoulder pain for over 10 years and decided to try acupuncture for the first time at Stillpoint Community Acupuncture. Jean-Paul did not make any promises given the duration of my condition but asked that I give him a month of regular treatments. Well within 2 weeks (6 treatments) I had recovered 80% of my range of motion and my pain has also diminished considerably- a result I consider nothing short of miraculous. I highly recommend the acupuncture treatments by Jean-Paul at Stillpoint and given the very affordable fees they charge, anyone can manage the cost.

I'm recovering from a knee injury and my purpose for seeing an acupuncturist was to reduce the swelling, and gain more movement with less pain. Because the affects of acupuncture is cumulative, I knew it would take a few treatments. After the 6th treatment, I saw a huge improvement. I can now do most of what I was doing before the injury. Swelling is reduced, pain is gone most of the time. Mobility and range of motion of the joint has increased to the point that I am now able to rehab the joint.

My surgeon suggested a cortisone shot for instant relief, or give it 3-6 months to heal on its own. I chose acupuncture and Stillpoint. The atmosphere is inviting, calming, and promotes healing. The acupuncturist Jean-Paul has been great. He really knows his stuff. He really cares about his patients and their healing process. He is personally invested to help his patients improve their quality of life. I'm so glad I chose to go this route and that I chose Stillpoint.

I had never tried acupuncture before visiting Stillpoint. I have suffered with chronic pain, headaches & fibromyalgia for years. Too many years! I've had 5 treatments in the past 3 weeks and I'm kicking myself for not seeking treatment here sooner! Jean Paul is a kind and intuative healer and his staff are very nice. The environment is warm, welcoming and quiet. After treatment I feel super
relaxed, but energized with way less pain, zero headaches, my sleep has been amazing and I finally feel like I can relax! It's totally worth the drive from Esquimalt.
