Stitch It Clothing Alterations

Have come here for pants and a jumpsuit, woman at the time of doing the alterations was very fast and kind. Highly recommend their services as they are also affordable!

The hem of my Arc'teryx mid layer is damaged due to aging of the glue. They sewed it up for me. Now it feels more durable than before.

Normally very good but I was charged for a hook and eye replacement that was not completed, and when I called I was simply told "I did that, too". Clearly, there are still two hooks and only one eye. Guess I should have just done it myself as I had planned to. Pay close attention BEFORE you leave.

Absolutely amazing customer service! Went in yesterday to get my dress altered and was in a huge time crunch. They got it done for me in 1 day even though they were very busy. Very bad service, the woman who take the measures for my pants kept the rest of my fabric (it was very long pants) and very nice quality fabric. She pretended she gave it to me and it was just lies. I told her it s better to find it because I know you keep it to do other things. Very very disappointed by this people. They are not honest at all. How can people like that can watch themselves in the mirror after lying like that? The worst place! Hypocrite and just thief. Very bad! They should be out!

Wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable staff! They completed a dress alteration for me quickly and did a wonderful job. As well, the pick-up process was really easy and overall just great service!

I took in a brand new pair of pants to be hemmed. I was impressed with the speed of service as I got them back the next day, however, the speed was no surprise upon inspection as the job was clearly rushed. Lines aren't straight, lines gone over multiple times on one leg and don't even attach on the other, tons of loose thread. What frustrates me most is they were quite dirty when I got them back, some stains which I can't get out. I imagine it will come out in the wash, but it's quite frustrating to need to wash a brand new pair of pants before I even had the chance to wear them. Based on this job, it seems they do not care very much about quality. Very disappointed.

I had a damaged pair of my favorite shorts and went in seeing if he could do my spacific job in fixing them while hiding the fact they were patched but they had accent stiching on them and he did an absolute beautiful job fixing them and blended everything with the style. His price for the job was more than reasonable so much that I left a tip and with his speed on the job was amazing and I picked it up in a couple hours. I'll definitely be going to him I'm the future for any alterations I need done

Stitch has been my go to for all of my alteration jobs. I have short legs, so basically all of my pants need to be hemmed, which they do an excellent job of.

However where they really shine are alterations, I have had two pairs of goretex mountaineering pants shortened, additional wear patches added and all functionality maintained. In addition, they have shortened the sleeves on a technical soft-shell for me. These alterations have been accomplished with minimal change to the garments design and without loss of garment features (such as integrated snow gaiters in the pants and elastic cuffs in the jacket). The fact they can adeptly work with a complicated design and fabric, while preserving functionality is impressive, especially when other shops have turned the jobs away as being too complicated.

I highly reccomend this business for all your alteration needs.

They always do a good job on hemming pants for me. I am short! Prices are reasonable. They try to please with time frames for getting the work completed. I try to be flexible as it isn’t a huge deal if I have to wait for almost a week since I do have other pants! They work hard.
If you need it quickly, they try to accommodate. Highly recommend. They are located in the mall so easy to drop off and pick up. I am happy to support a local family business.

Received a tuxedo and needed alterations to make it fit. The people at Stitch It were very helpful and had a quick turnaround (less than a week for some major alterations!) The price was also very reasonable compared to other tailors in Victoria. Highly recommend!

I took 2 pants and 2 shirts that needed some major alterations and very time consuming. I drop it off on Thursday and we agreed that it would be done on Sunday since it was a time crunch for me. He came in on his day off and had it all done past my expectations by 2pm and Friday. He did an awesome job and was super nice. I would definitely recommend to anybody!

Stitch it at Mayfair has always been where I go for pant hems & clothing alterations.
The service is quick with good quality and lovely customer service.

I brought in four pairs of pants for alterations on a Sunday, needing them ready for the following Wednesday. Stitch It had it done by Tuesday and did an incredible job. Very high quality, efficient service. Will be going to Stitch It for all clothing alterations I need from here on out.

They forgot 2/4 of the things we asked for, we took it back on a friday and they were apologetic and said pick up monday at 10: 30. We were there at 11 and they were still working on it, said half an hour, didn’t look good, still forgot one thing.

I have used Stitch It a few times and have been very happy with the quality. You can’t even tell alterations we’re even done. I am very please.

I went to alter my pant and asked the lady if I can have it done today and she answered yes for $2 extra she could. I was very happy due to the travel and gas that I saved by not coming the next day
They are nice people. They don't smile, but we live on a multicultural country and everyone express themselves in different ways. For me, I got the job done and that is what mattered. I really like them. I am going back tomorrow for another pant. And they did an excellent job.

Had some pants hemmed. They were able to complete the job within one hour. The location within Mayfair Mall is very convenient.

I waited until the last minute to decide to get a new suit jacket for a holiday party, it needed some minor alterations so brought it across the hallway to Stitch It. Despite my lack of proper planning they were able to accommodate my request and even suggested some other alterations to make it look even better than I expected it would. Great service and very friendly!
