Stitch It Clothing Alterations

Got my jeans hemmed in less than an hour here, the ladies were super nice and jeans came out perfect!

Staff here are always very helpful. The quality of work (on my jeans in the last two visits) is exceptional. Without looking closely at the inside of the legs, you can’t see there has been alterations.

Farhana did a wonderful job of altering my dirt bike pants. There was snaps zippers and difficult to work with materials and she did an amazing job. Job was completed in the stated time frame.

I have been coming here for years and i always leave satisfied. Super friendly staff and very accurate with their deadlines. This is the place to come for all your tailoring needs.

Sandra was very kind. She and her colleague finished the modification for my pants in just 2 hours.

I have taken several pairs of pants to Stitch It for hemming. They are fair, quick and do a great job. I will continue to use their services for all my alterations in the future.

Hands down one of the worst stitching places in BC. Absolutely destroyed both my pleaseit black pants and my stone island hoodie. Come get your stitching and alteration done here if you want them to absolutely destroy your clothes. Never come here with any expensive material, maybe you can trust them with cheap clothing but never bring anything precious to you. Trust me they will find a way to ruin it.

Ps. My stone island hoodie had about an inch rip to it, but these “great” ladies here made my hoodies hole even bigger, and told me with a smile and incoherent english that they did a great job

It took a week fix, and here’s the result…. The staff was nice, and I should have checked when I left, but I dropped my jaw when I got home and saw this. Looks like someone just want to finish the day quicker.

I needed my pants hemmed last minute on a Friday and they were able to do it within 30 minutes. Great service. Very friendly customer service.

I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed with the speed, quality, and service I received here.

I turned in a Sweater that needed a new slider for it’s zipper, the woman looked at it, decided, thats what had to be done, i dropped May 20th 2023, and at that time i payed ~$17, i was told it would be ready for pick up on May 27th, 2023.

I was called by the same employee i originally dealt with on the 27th only hours before my pick-up time, this call entailed this;

On more examination of the item, they informed me a entire new zipper was needed, and the price would be $35 on top of the $17 already payed, after arguing for many minutes with another employee,
And many wasted minutes and words they finally agreed and gave me the fixed sweater at the $17.

They told me it wouldn’t be ready until Monday the 29th.

The zipper was replaced, after 2 weeks of back and forth. The employees, were dismissive to my requests and very unprofessional.

For my grad cruise I wanted to wear my mom's dress. Unfoutuanlty it wasn't the right size for me, so we got it altered so I could fit it. The people there were so nice and helped a lot when altering the dress so I could fit it.

Brought in a work vest for alteration after being told by another tailor shop that the work was too complicated for the alterations needed. Stitch It in Willowbrook Mall did a fantastic job!

There is an employee named sunny who works there, and she is so friendly with all of her customers, and have had the best experience with her.

Absolutely disgusted with the employees at this establishment. Harassing a young woman about her weight. Forcing her to try on article to be hemmed ON TOP of the other clothes. Saying she’d “burst out of her pants” if they tried to take them in. They humiliated her. Refusing to do what was asked because they felt she’d burst right through them.

This is so unacceptable. Expect a phone call as well.

The quality and service is a cut above the rest. I could not recommend anyone else in town.
