The craftsmanship of their services is above average. Their customer service can use work and has lost the store 1 star.

The work they do is amazing and well done but I find them to be overpriced (quoted $80 to take a skirt in at the waist). There also seems to be a lot of simple repairs that they refuse to do for no good reason, not sure why.

James is absolutely fantastic! During my wedding time he altered all my wedding outfits and did an impeccable job.

He is very talented and great to work with. Highly reccomend!

This is my go-to place to get clothing items altered or hemmed! The staff here are kind and very knowledgeable in their work. I got a couple of Aritzia pants hemmed here and they stitch it just like how it was originally (e.g, hidden seams). I recently got a trench coat altered and I was quite impressed at the end result. The sleeves were too long and I lost one of the straps for the sleeve, so they removed the loops and it looks like there weren't any stitching there at all! I've recommended this place to family members because I trust this place for alterations. Thank you for the work you guys do!

Phoned for a last-minute alteration before closing time for an interview. Jack was very efficient while he remained friendly. 20 minutes later, I received a text message, and the pants were done!

Absolutely phenomenal. We worked with James to get a chiffon bridesmaid dress priority altered as we had a small window. He not only made our tricky scheduling work, he also told us where to get materials and to call the fabric shop ahead of time. They were friendly and efficient with their work and come time to pick up the dress it was ready and James helped fit me perfectly. The team was so friendly and I’d really recommend them for any sort of alteration request - thanks again!

I'm kinda disappointed with my recent experience at the tailor shop. Despite many positive reviews praising their efficiency and quick turnaround time, my personal experience was far from satisfactory. I simply requested a button repair, which took them a whole week to complete. Furthermore, after just one month of receiving the item back, the button came loose again, leaving me feeling extremely dissatisfied. Just hope the shop can be more attentive and careful to ensure better quality

I got my pants hemmed and suit jacket sleeves shortened by James Nguyen. My own suits that I brought with me were gone as the luggage had been lost at the airport. I bought a new suit, and I needed them done in a matter of a few days. Despite his busy schedule, he came through for me. The alterations were perfect, and my brand new suit fit me perfectly, just in time for me to attend my friends wedding. Great service, and I couldn't be more thankful!

I would recommend James Nguyen. I am a student, just bought my first suit. I bring it to ask James help customize it. However, i don't know usually customize a whole suit need one week, i need use it after two days. James worked overnight to help me change it. Thanks James so much. I am a fool on suits as a student. He taught me a lot about suits. Five stars experience!

I recently discovered the Fitting Room at Metrotown. I needed 3 pairs of pants hemmed. Service was excellent. Results were fabulous and reasonably priced. Exactly what I wanted.

I had a wonderful experience at this store. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The manager, Amy Fang, fixed my jacket really quickly. I visited the place twice, and the second time they did not even charge me. Lovely experience.:)

Took a pair of pants here to get hemmed. Wore them once and they started unravelling, so I brought them back for a re-hem which costs 5 or 6 dollars. Wore them once again and the threads are coming undone and it looks super messy.

I got my pant hemming done by James Nguyen. And this was the first time I have ever got any alterations for clothing. James was highly recommended to me and I can see why. The hemming was done really well, the stitchings blended in nicely and the colour match was great. James is an overall kind and patient person and I had a great experience. I ended up coming back and getting 3 more pants hemmed and I am really happy with the results. Highly recommend, and I will be coming back for future alterations!:)

Definitely I am not coming back! They are rude and not willing to redo the job unless you pay again. Claiming it was not their fault. What’s the purpose of 30 day service guarantee then? I was not satisfied with what they did with my dress but instead they took the blame on me just to avoid of redoing it with no charge. They already charged me for approx $80 for the service I was not happy about. Now they would like to charge me more to fix it. Go somewhere else not here if you need alterations! Not worth it!

Be aware that not only they won't finish the work on time but also would try to charge you more with ridiculous reasons when you pickup, even though you paid in advance plus 10% tip.

I just needed a quick stitch repair on a seam coming apart. The person who helped me was extremely quick and efficient. I really appreciate him going above and beyond to get my repair done so quickly and so beautifully.

I bought an affordable suit for my wedding day and it didn't quite fit my frame perfectly. I took it to Stitch It at Metrotown and I was helped in a professional manner, I was asked for my opinion, and the woman (sorry, didn't get her name) also suggested I take the sleeves of the shirt and jacket up. My suit was ready for pickup sooner than expected, and the woman and James were there to greet me. James was wonderful, told me I looked like a whole new man, and packed my suit up for me. Wonderful service and outcome, and it was way more affordable than I had even imagined! I basically got a custom tailored suit for an amazing price, and experience. I've already referred a few friends to get their clothes altered there too

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, needed alterations on my tuxedo for a wedding reception party, needed a one day alteration due to next day party, James Nguyen helped me! For starters he was really professional, offered good prices and managed to alter my tuxedo within 2 hours! Stitch work was very clean and unnoticeable, fitment was good!

Mr. Nguyen did an excellent job repairing my shirt! I thought it was beyond repair and was prepared to throw it away, but Mr. Nguyen was able to sew up the tear on my synthetic golf shirt in a way t. I was very pleased with the results, and the cost was more than fair!

James was really helpful, I have gotten my skirts tailored with him multiple times. He is very friendly and easy to work with. I love walking in and being able to see him, knowing that he will do a great job. I’ve had other people service me at stitch it and they also do amazing, but James’s attitude is what makes me want to come back. He is the sweetest.

James is very good with details. I've asked him in the past years to taper my jeans, which he did with exceeded expectations. Just today, he hemmed and tapered my shorts perfectly, ensuring I looked exactly how I wanted. On top of that, he is very easy to work with and a great communicator. James Nguyen is very talented. I have gone twice now to do pants alterations and my coat. I am a very petite woman and most of the time i need my clothes altered. He was very reasonable with pricing and did a very good job altering my coat. I am very happy with his work and would higly recommend to everyone. He also recommends work that could be done on your clothing to fit your body type. Since i altered my coat, i have been getting a lot of compliments from other people. I could not thank him enough for doing my coat beautifully altered.

Please pick up your phone. Trying to call for the 4th day to get a quote and nobody picks up, I've tried just about every time of the day.sigh.
