I have been with Sentinel Storage since it took over for Storage for Your Life.
There are two FABULOUS Ladies working there.
Deanna who is a Regional Manager and Diana, the "go to Gal" in the office.
They are both very professional, kind and very informative.
Breakdown of prices and such, are easily explained and they will do everything they can to help you.
Whether that be by staying longer or closing your storage space.
Safety and protecting your units, is definitely Number One on their list.
Felt no pressure to get a unit from them. Left it completely up to me and after pricing other places and the rudeness of others, Sentinel Storage is by far, the best here in town.

Quick and easy accessibilty! Very accommodating staff and willingness to help which sadly is very hard to find these days.

The girls in the office are great, very accommodating, kind and polite. Just makes dealing with storage pleasant.

Was very easy to sign in, when we got there Dianna was awesome and well prepared. Place is tidy, locker was clean. I love the fact that they have on site person who lives there and keeps an eye out.
I have used Sentinal in the past and it is my go to in the future.

The unit was great. The people in Vernon were fine. There are two main issues: First, when you call you reach a call centre back East and they don't have a clue what's available or where you are. Second, I cleaned out mid month - NO PARTIAL REBATE!

Easy online booking and payment, friendly service at the front counter. Cleared out my locker with no issue other than the rain lol

The staff were nice to deal with and service was good but their cancelation policy is too strict so we lost money.
Edit in response: there is no flexibility around the 1 week notice period which is disappointing when plans change suddenly.

My RV trailer was stored here for 2yrs while I lived in Vernon, and had nothing but great experiences dealing with the staff and the Storage area itself. The lot is always clean and well taken care of and Orkin is in regularly to take care of any rodents. Due to Covid my trailer didn't move for 2yrs and there were no evidence of any mice in my trailer.
Overall my experience was great with Sentinel Storage.

Any time I have needed storage space very quickly, this place has always been very accommodating … the whole process from start to finish was extremely easy and anyone I have ever dealt with was super professional and friendly … I would recommend this storage facility to anyone. Thank you for everything.

Clean lockers, monthly reminders before payment is due and online receipt for your personal records. Two thumbs up.

Friendly staff, secure facilities. Really liked how the rows to the units were cleared over the winter. Didn't have to shovel my way into my unit. Definitely recommend place to go

I called in and gave very direct description of what I need. I asked for a price and availability. Your representative that I spoke to did nothing to answer my questions. I had to get frustrated before he actually answered only 1 question. The price. Your reps really need to listen to the customers. Because it was a hassle to even just get a price which was considerably higher than the other storage places in my area you will never get my business.

I used Sentinel Storage - Vernon when I was moving cities and I have to say their service is hands down the best I have experienced in this industry.

Christi and Mandy at the front office are an absolute delight to work, they set me up quickly and answered all my question promptly.

We rented a storage unit while we were building our home. Access was great, the units and facility were clean, and we appreciated the security aspect of storing our belongings somewhere that was alarmed and monitored.

Good friendly service with good information about storage units etc. Very helpful in filling out forms, etc.

I called to price check and see if there was a unit available from Chilliwack prior to moving. The amazing man Moe on the other end of the line set me up so I had less paperwork to do when I got there. The staff in the office are wonderful, very nice and very welcoming. I highly recommend the storage company.

Great experience with the staff at Sentinel Storage. They were able to accommodate my storage requirements and dates for our upcoming move to Vernon. They were very knowledgeable and helpful, offering up various options for accessing the storage unit when we ship our belongings. Looking forward to the move!

This is a well cared for facility. The units are clean, secure easily accessible. In the front office the staff were very pleasant and helpful. An overall great experience.

Very clean units and driving areas. Stuff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and will discuss any concerns. Units are large and easily accessible. Smaller units are available but I need it large ones

This site is very clean and easy to access. Site is secure and well lit when attending after dark. I appreciate the ease of access, as many places have set hours even with secure gates. Many sized units available too.
I would definitely recommend to friends or family if they need a storage unit.

Marney was fantastic to work with when we needed short term storage quickly.
Friendly and super efficient. She made the whole process a breeze.
The locker itself was swept out and ready for our boxes. The secured gates added to our comfort level with storing our things.

Sentinel is a very clean and professionally run storage facility. Kind and knowledgeable staff. I had an easy and quick time of both the renting as well as the cancelling the contract of my unit.

Such friendly staff, great location. I’ve had a locker here for 3 years and have had zero issues.

Currently renting storage space and parking spots for a field crew. The staff here are fantastic, the facility is safe, and have not had any issues whatsoever. They went above and beyond to provide us a space that suited our needs, and we really appreciate it. Nothing but good things to say!

I was having difficulty finding storage, this was the fourth place I had called. At first I was told that they too were full and had nothing available, but they would check for any upcoming vacancies and email me. I received a call shortly after and the lady had found a unit that just opened up. I got there minutes before the office closed, but she was happy to stay a bit late and help me out. Super attitude, and funny too.

Big rave to Storage For Your Life in Vernon. I was sent a notice of a rate increase, which seemed a bit steep as I've only been a customer for 5 months. They worked with me to bring the increase down to an amount I could afford on my fixed income. Kudos and thank you!

This facility is a pleasure to use. The staff are helpful and no matter the weather it is well maintained. The location off the highway is very handy.

The kamloops office that booked me did not listen to my request to be seen on the day due to an emergency, But the Vernon office handled it perfectly even though I was being a little unreasonable and frustrated. Highly reccomend the Vernon office and location!

This facility is exceptionally well-maintained very clean and the staff are friendly and go beyond the Norms of customer service to assist customers. We were moving from one location to another and were having a heck of a Time with paperwork excetera and they worked with us and got us everything we needed. From the call centre to Nancy at the storage facility, all were fantastic to work with.

It was great pleasure to find a friend in a new city we moved in, who helped us to do it painlessly and without any problem. That friend was the Storage for Your Life. They organized everything for us. All we have to do was to arrive in the new city. We will always recommend them.

Good customer service seems to be a rare find these days. Which is why I'm writing this review. Every time I called or had a question, the staff was helpful and very friendly. Means a lot as we seem to be in a time where the customer is treated with impatience and as if you are putting the emplyee out by even calling or having a question. So appreciated in these days where it can seem you are not important as a customer. Please dont stop being friendly and happy to help.it goes a long way.

Office is closed early, at 5pm. Website and phone representative stated it was open till 7pm, finally get in and go to where my locker is and it has a lock on it. Tried to phone their phone line and it kept telling me to leave a message and they will get back to me when they get back to their desk. Its now been 3 hours and 5 phone calls, not a single person has talked to me, answered or responded in any way. Not looking like it is managed very well

I found myself in desperate need of a storage unit and ended up contacting SFYL. I was and am overjoyed by my experience with them. Their customer service, from my initial frantic phone call, to current day, has been probably some of the best service i have had in many years. What a pleasure to find a place that still gives such amazing service!

As far as renting a storage space this was seamless. Wonderful customer service from the counter staff that was both thorough & informative. Nancy was very good about showing us several options that could meet our needs and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. This is a spotless facility that will be perfect for our storage needs.

Very clean, efficient, organized, and friendly. The attendant told us how to use the locks explained all of the ins and outs of the facility and was a lot of fun to work with. The stuff I work with on the phone were also very fun and easy to chat with answered all my questions. So far so good!

I have used this facility and was very satisfied with the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and was especially impressed by the exceptional customer service displayed by Marney, Nancy and Kristie. They did a criminal record check and because I have a possession of stolen property charge they wont allow me to put my things in their storage lockers. Now I know stealing sausages when I was homeless and hungry was not the right thing to do but it shouldn't hinder me from being able to store my things somewhere.

Nancy was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend SFYL.from beginning to end they were kind, helpful and accommodating. Nancy made me smile each and every time I was in the office. She was also extremely efficient and quick to problem solve. Thanks for all your help!

Very decent little storage space firm. Good sized spaces, rates comparable for the region, good security and very nice staff.

We are new in the area and were looking for a safe and secure place to store our camper. We called around and were struggling to find something both secure and affordable and then we met Kristie at Storage for Your Life! She and the facility are excellent. We got prompt responses, tons of help and a nice spot to store the trailer. Recommend them very highly!

I just want to say that the staff at the Vernon location was very helpful, knowledgeable and very polite. The security is awesome and was a very clean atmosphere. I would recommend this storage site to all my friends and family.

Excellent customer service in a relaxed manner that sets you at ease. Thorough information and tour. Pleasant staff and well kept and clean facility. Very impressive that you pay for dates you store, if you only need 1 week after your commitment thats all you pay. They don't charge for the whole next cycle. I will highly recommend

They keep upping my rent. Now for 50 sq ft i am patong more than what i pay for 64 aq ftvat another storage site

I rented from them and everything was great. I moved out and that's when the problems arose. I could not get 5 things out and asked if they could hold it for me until someone came to pick up they say no. Then they told me that they would offer me a smaller unit in an email which we never got. Then 2 months later they tell me I have to sign an abdoment and that I still have to pay for the unit. I never got emails just a text on a bill.

People please dont rent from these guys they are crocks

Most expensive storage in vernon. They bill you every 28 days. So every year you pay 13 times. Not 12 like everyplace else. Corporate money grab.
