This place is out of this world good. The reviews talk about the cocktails (which are incredible) but totally under-sell the food. 1000/10 for quality, taste, texture, flavours. Impeccable.

Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Nothing but unique tasty dishes and cocktails. Check it out and you'll see what I'm talking about. They just switched up their menu, so can't wait to go again! Highly recommend their Straight and Marrow cocktail, the Korean beef heart tartar and the scallop mac and cheese!

We loooooved our dinner! Every item was incredibly flavourful and truly everything was absolutely incredible. Plus, the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Highly recommend if you want to have a great time eating out. Their food is top notch, and their service is above and beyond! We ordered 6 dishes among 3 of us and the portion was just right. I highly recommend the beef brisket with escamoles. My partner makes amazing brisket already, but this one tops his version with the taste, texture, and sides made perfectly. The only thing is when I came home, I finally realized what escamoles is (ant larvae). So it's for adventurous eater only!
Services was also top of the game. They interacted with our little one, offered kids meal, joked with us and replied all our questions with thorough answers and patience. We definitely left feeling 200% happier!

Great birthday dining experience. We were 3 adults and one child (5). We ordered 6 dishes and it was plenty. Everything was plated beautifully and the flavours were amazingly curated.

Une cuisine inventive et excellente avec un très bon accueil et l'explication de tous les plats que nous avons pris. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant. Finally a restaurant that goes complex and EXECUTES! That dessert needs an award! Standing ovation for that!

Inventive dishes and unusual ingredients. Adored the scallop spaetzle. There was a variety of novel experiences across the dishes we tried: eggplant parm as finger food, making a noodle dish out of scallop (spatzle), crunching into escamoles (ant larvae) over a salsa verde risotto, making a cocktail luge from the bone marrow, and figuring out how to feel when dessert is created from duck fat / chicken liver mousse / fish sauce.

They participate in FirstTable, if you want to shave the cost of the food items by 50%.

Will happily return for another dining adventure.

Shrimp Toast was tooooo good. We also ordered Bone Marrow, Octopus Carpaccio and Soft Shell Crab … excellent preparation… great place and good service. Overall, it was worth it!

Straight and Marrow is something else in Vancouver's food scene. With our group of four, we dived into almost everything on their menu. Our favorites were the bone marrow with its must-try brandy luge and the awesome octopus carpaccio.

But what really sets this place apart is their wild experiments with food. We tried stuff like freeze-dried Mexican ant larvae (escamoles) and the mille feuille dessert with duck fat icing that blew our minds. Our server was super friendly and knew their stuff, and the bartender's creations were all delightful, making the whole experience even better. Straight and Marrow's adventurous and unique approach makes it stand out, and we're already excited to be back in a few months to see what else they cook up.

Loved the food, the service and our time there. The highlight was the Bone Marrow Luge. Least favorite the rye gnocchi.

The staff were nice and friendly here. We, 2 adults and 2 kids, ordered five dishes and one dessert for sharing. Food was delicious with some exotic elements in it. Korean Beef Heart Tartare tasted yummy and the presentation of food was pretty. Shrimp Toast had green papaya salad which was fresh and tasted so good. My favorite was Beef Brisket, oh my goodness, it was so tasty and mouth watering. I shall recommend this restaurant to my friends.

It was supposed to be a brewery hop kind of night until I found a random restaurant that looked "wow-ing". I looked up the food and drink pics, sold. Food and drinks were delicious! Amazing service from their weekend bartender. I am definately coming back to try the rest of the items on the menu. *Look out for their Seafood Boil pop-ups! *

They knocked it out of the park, the atmosphere, and possibly the universe.the ambiance was perfect and mellow. The small space was perfect for the evening (mellow). Also to be able to watch the chef and his crew working was more enjoyable and I always love seeing how the kitchen runs. It gives you a better perspective, and appreciation of the incredible artistry and effort. With the food being so original, and progressive the evening could not have been better. I haven't even brought up the beverages.wow and WOW.the bar keep was asking to make a treat that wasn't on the menu (using Bourbon) what came to the Table was a blend of chocolate, and orange pleasures and no pain. 2 later I was comfortably numb. In fact we had a vegetarian with us, he even enjoyed a sample or 2.yet they had veggie dishes.kudos and thank you for your incredible treat. A and A, plus the fam from Victoria.
