The staff is amazing, they went above and beyond for me to get my glasses and even stayed late. The service is very quick and just all around amazing. Been going to them for years and will continue to. I'm just a random guy BUT I highly recommend them for all your eye needs.

I can truly say that I have never received better service in my entire life before. I have severe medical anxiety, and then anxiety about embarassing myself WITH my anxiety on top of that. The ladies at Strawn were not only kind, but understanding and empathetic. I was reassures that I was in a safe space, it was okay to be anxious, that I could stop at anytime and that they were there for me. Not once did I ever feel pressure or like I was a bad patient that was taking yp their time. It may be a silly thing to feel anxiety over, but when you have medical anxiety something small can feel like something huge. I am so appreciative of their kindness. Thank you!

My experience with Strawn & Co has always been excellent. Reception welcomes me warmly and the wait times are not long. My eye exam is always very thorough and comfortable.
The review of my eye exam and testing by my optometrist is very professional. All aspects of my vision and eye health are thoroughly explained.
Afterwards, staff makes the choosing of my new glasses and lenses fun. They are very good at helping pick the right frames and give me as much time as I need to make a decision. They thoroughly explain the options for lenses and take the time to measure and fit the lenses and glasses correctly.
There isn't anywhere else I would consider for my eye care and glasses.

I enjoyed my first visit to Strawn &Co Optometry. Everyone was pleasant and knowledgeable. I appreciated Dr. Kilkus answering my questions about some vision problems I have had since cataract surgery I had 20 years ago.

I had an urgent need to see Dr Zhang and they were able to accommodate me right away. I received excellent care, I was put at ease with the condition both with the exam and eye drops. A further referral was recommended and they took care of that right away. Excellent care!

From the time I walked in the door until I was leaving all encounters with the staff were very positive. Everyone was courteous upbeat extremely knowledgeable and professional. Switched to Strawn & Co.last year as we live on the westside now and I was tired of going into Kelowna. Our whole family goes now. Really like the straight forward and personable approach of Dr. Kilkus. Last year she found an issue and explained everything really clearly. I find their rates for contacts very competitive too! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a new eye doctor!

The new Dr. Zhang was wonderful, thorough and helpful. Took her time asked and answer questions. She was very genuine. I have forgotten the lovely lady's name that helped with the frames and fitting. She was patient and didn't care how many choices I had in my bin. She even offered suggestions on top! Lol. It was a great experience, which has the highest cost for me. I was refused service for wearing a shield instead of mask despite a medical exemption. I have been going there for years and went to our last two family appointments wearing that shield without problems. I was coming in to purchase glasses today and they even gladly cancelled my upcoming appointment. This is quite upsetting from a place that I trust with my family's eye care.

After years of disliking my old eye clinic I made the move to Strawn & Co. What a difference! Staff were polite, friendly, thorough and organized. Dr. Lisa was simply amazing and very knowledgeable about a health condition I am dealing with that can potentiality affect my eyes. I can't say enough good things about this clinic. My call about an abrasion to the cornea was dealt with immediately, to the point of the office staff fitting me in at the end of the day (within 2 hours of my initial phone call). The staff and Dr. Zhang were extremely organized and professional, and very empathetic. I feel that pain symptoms have never been taken so seriously by a professional! I would recommend you come to the West Side for this type of care and treatment!

In June this year, Dr. Straun and her staff facilitated my changing the date of my scheduled annual check-up, to coincide with my wife's, even though my previous annual had been only 6 months before. Neither of us has insurance, so have awlays paid a portion of the annual dee ourselves, with the Province paying the balalnce. Accordingly, as my previous check up was only 6 monthe earlier, I expected to pay in full for this visit. However, somehow Dr. Straun arranged things so I didn't have to pay what I'd expected and in fact did get the provincial "subsidy".

As has been the case since Dr. Straun took over the clinic after her partner, and my former eye specialist, Dr. Mark Stickle retired, Dr. Strawn was extremely attentive, and was quick to answer the questions I had as my annual check up went along. I have had eye car in Ontario, in Mexico and from a number of practitioners in B. C, and Dr. Straun beat's all the others.

While my older son was having his eye exam (excellent patient care by Dr. Strawn) the kind ladies at the front cleaned my son's glasses and tightened the arms - he remarked at how kind they were to do that, "mom, I can see better! " The glasses I bought were affordable and they direct billed my insurance!

Dr. Strawn is always pleasant and very professional and I really appreciated. Most staff are nice to deal with, However, the office manager could have done a bit better as the tone of her voice is condescending and rushed. I wish it was because of the COVID that she needed to raise her voice. Past experience indicated it may not be the case as she remembers me from my previous optometrist Dr. Stickle. I wish I know why!

This was my second time and I am just as happy as the first time!
I saw Dr. Karli Kilkus and she is very gentle and thorough, takes time to explain results of testing and never makes you feel hurried!

I had been with the same Optometrist in Kelowna for so many years I don't even know how long it had been. After moving to W Kel I was reluctant to change Doctors, but mine was on the road to retirement anyway, so I chose Dr. Strawn. She is thorough and patient while she explains to me in terms I can understand. Her staff is friendly & knowledgeable, I definitely made the right choice!

Have been coming here since 2017. Had my annual exam with Dr. Karli Kilkus. She is very thorough and explained some questions I had. The staff is very professional and efficient, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I hesitated to make an appointment during the pandemic. So many unknowns. The staff I had any encounters with made my visit comfortable and set my mind at ease. All the health rules were followed and I observed sanitation of the high traffic areas as I had to sit for twenty minutes to facilitate a procedure. Dr. Strawn was awesome. She explained everything to me and was not rushed. Extremely thorough and professional. No hesitation to recommend this business to anyone and everyone. The staff here were all very friendly and helpful, my first visit here was shortly after they reopened from covid. Given all the extra stress and protocols that are now in place they were very polite and very professional.
I met with Dr. Kilkus, she was great! Very knowledgeable and was able to explain things clearly and with great detail. After, I met with Robyn, she helped me pick out my prescription glasses. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the available products on hand and didn’t rush or push me into anything. She was patient as I tried on a few different pairs, it was very much appreciated.
