Stripped Wax Bar - Kitsilano

I've had brazilians done at many other salons and nothing beats Stripped's service and friendliness. Celina is a true professional. She makes me feel comfortable, she works efficiently but also takes the time to ensure her work is clean. If I ever have to move, I'll be so sad to not have Celina taking care of me!

Celina is the best! I’ve followed her from Yaletown, to Port Moody, and now Kits because she’s the only one I’ll trust to do my brows! Besides that, the staff is always super friendly and professional; I’ve never had a bad experience there!

I’ve been getting waxed at Stripped since 2014 and I love it! I’d estimate that I’ve had over 100 appointments here and I’ve always been very satisfied. I’d recommend Stripped to anyone!

I got wax on Wednesday and it is Sunday now. Just spent the night in the hospital because of an allergic reaction/infection that was a result of the wax. I followed all instructions and have had waxes on my bikini area before, but this was my first time here. I am in such extreme pain down there that I have been given T3's, antibiotics, steroids, and multiple numbing topicals and have been out of commission for days now.

When I called to let them know, their reaction was horrible. No apology, no suggestions for me. The tone of voice was completely careless. I can't walk, I cant sit. This is the worst pain I have ever been in and it's in such a delicate area. It's unbearable. I will never come here again. Customer service was terrible. I cant believe they showed no concern for me at all.

Edit: wow I just took some time to read through other reviews and I am not the only one who has gone through the same thing. Stripped, you should be ashamed.

I never write reviews but I am so happy with Stripped I just had to. I have been going here for the last 2 1/2 years. They are literally the best waxing place in Vancouver - I tried lots of places before this! Some places you need to request certain people, but I honestly just select the first available waxer because they are all so professional and great at what they do. I've probably had over 10 different people wax me here and they were all phenomenal. They are always thorough with their job, SUPER friendly, and efficient. Whatever your hiring process is. Keep it up!

After a VERY subpar job on a Brazilian which is something I have done every single month for the past 15+ years at many different places, I was told the area that was clearly missed and very much in the bikini line was "not part of the bikini area". After I expressed my disappointment I was told that I could contact the bosses via email on the website as they take customer service very seriously. Needless to say there is no email or contact info on the website for customer service related issues (at least not one that could be easily found or not require a phone call)! I guess denying (easy) access is how customer service is taken seriously! Very disappointing. Luckily there is no shortage of waxing places in the area to bring business to.

Great customer service. Pain free! Great experience. Emma-Mai was my therapist and she was so professional and a hoot! Will certainly be back.

I love them all but Maryann is my favorite! She always makes me feel so comfortable and she does an outstanding waxing job every time!

The staff were friendly and the shop was clean and nicely decorated. My only qualm is that I was left with lots of patches of hair on my legs close to my ankles and some missed hairs and broken hairs around my bikini line: (
I didn’t notice right away because it took two days for irritation from waxing to go away which is normal for me but I was disappointed when I got to the beach in Hawaii and noticed all the missed hair. I missed out on a day of swimming because I had to wait until I got back to the hotel to deal with it.

Good service and the staff is warm and accommodating. Good intro pricing in your a new client.was easy to book an appointment and I was able to do it online which is always a plus.

The best service around! Love the staff here. They make you feel so comfortable and always have smiles on their faces. The products they sell at the front are great too. Highly recommend!

I went in before my wedding/ honeymoon in preparation for the occasion.only to get a massive rash that was not only painful af and inchy but messed with my confidence for my big day.

I’ve never had issues with waxing so I was shocked that this happened. The worst part was that I reached out to them directly to share my experience and got 0 empathy and no efforts to help find a solution to calm my skin. I even wrote an email to management with 0reply. I had to go see a dermatologist as I kid you not this was a full on infection and terrible reaction to whatever was used on my skin. Aweful!

The wax lady herself was nice during my session but the lack of support after sharing such a horrible experience is terrible customer service.

Never coming back here for waxing

It was my first visit at the wax bar and I absolutely loved loved loved my experience. My waxer was amazing. Definitely will be back.

Quick and efficient, actually did less thanI had signed up for as they felt more was not needed.
