I've never seen such a dainty city salesboy in all my years. Zero mechanical knowledge on the vehicle shame. Popped over to mazda and closed a deal on a new awd turbo with some normal dudes in ten minutes. Maybe train up the sales guys? And not just hire business degree grads

I was doing a day visit to the island and after getting off the ferry I was having car trouble. I managed to make it in town from the terminal and gave them a call right away. There was no guarantees but the service person I spoke to said bring it in and and they would have a look at it when they could. When I arrived to the dealership, I was helped by Randy, who was very friendly. To my surprise, within about an hour they had called me back with some good news that they were able to do a small fix and that it should be good to get me around to where I needed and back home on the ferry. I was very stressed about my cars situation, but I really appreciated the prompt attention they gave me and finding a solution, even if temporary. Randy was very pleasant to deal with and if I lived on the island I would 100% come back to the dealership. Thank you!

Subaru Nanaimo has one of the greatest customers care. Anually they organize event for their customers at the Duncan race track where you can take your WRX or BRZ. What a day, thank you Dan and Brent!

I love the product, make no mistake. But my experiance was less than desireable purchasing it. Was promised the moon and I had to fight for what was promised me, and at the end of the day, I gave up. It wasn't detailed properly, the paint chips weren't done nicely, the bumper cover promised wasn't put on. To top it off, when bringing back a loaner car, after maybe driving 4 kms, we had an employee demand gas for the car, berating us infront of all who was in the dealership. I have little confidence in this dealership, and I get the feeling that they just don't care.after all, "there is someone else who want's that car". Hard ball all the way.

Recently purchased a cross trek from Nanaimo Subaru park it’s Cameron Booth as the sales rep. He was professional, respectful and produced everything in a timely manner. It was a great overall experience.

Well I can’t say anything but good as it all started with a phone call out to the dealership as I live in AB to talk to a salesman about a mustang they had. The gentleman that I got was Cameron and he went out of his way for a few days getting all the information I needed. Most salesman would have just left me hanging as I was out of province, but he didn’t he worked with me right to the end. I even text the man when he wasn’t working and he got right back to me couldn’t ask for a better employee. Subaru should be proud to have an employee like him good work Cameron was a pleasure working with you.

This was my first time shopping for a Subaru so I was a little nervous when it came to picking the right model that suited my needs. My salesman Cameron, did an excellent job going over all the details for each of the Subaru models that peaked my interest! He was and has been taking the time to answer all of my questions regarding the new Crosstrek and I might mention Ive had a lot of them. My new Crosstrek arrives this October/November. All of my emails have been answered extremely quickly which I am very grateful for. If your in the market for a Subaru, I highly recommend talking to Cameron for all your needs. Very personable and professional which is what I was looking for.

I just bought my 1st new car at Nanaimo Subaru. I went from a 1999 Impreza to a 2023 Crosstrek. Huge learning curve. The folks at Nanaimo Subaru have been awesome. It's been a great 1st time experience.

I bought a used WRX here, and I asked for minor detail work in the deal. I have been in the Subaru Nanaimo's office face to face and spoke to multiple people who had assured me that I would be contacted the following day with an appointment to fix some cosmetic work. I wanted to get an auto-start installed. They checked with the service department and then charged me for it and then, when I went to ask them about installation a month later, they said it could not be done well in their office this time; I asked about the cosmetic work I needed to be done once again. I'm not sure how it works at Subaru, but anytime I have bought a Used or New vehicle somewhere else, it didn't come with a half tank of Gas. It came with a Full tank of Gas your spending a decent amount of money on these vehicles. The least they can do is fill the Gas tank. I bought this vehicle in May. It's about to be August. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Their communication has left me believing anything they say is within lousy faith, and I am very unimpressed with the sales team. Still, if I could rate just the vehicle, I would give it five stars. Subaru makes a beautiful product but the lack of customer service has lowered my experience from 5 stars to 1 star thank you. (the issue has been resolved thank you)

I purchased my brand new 2023 BRZ from Cara last month and cannot recommend her and the entire team at Subaru of Nanaimo enough! Cara did an amazing job helping me and I truly felt she had my best interest in mind. Lisa and Andrea in finance did a great job of breaking everything down for me on the lease. 10/10 all around

Well what an amazing day today hosted by Subaru at the track! Event took place at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit in Cowichan. Great track driving instruction by a very professional team of drivers and of course the fun, social Subaru staff. Open lap time was an Adrenalin rush and I got to test out my WRX STI to see how it really handles.wow! I love my car more now than I did before which is hard to believe. Lunch brought in from Villa Eyrie was delicious. Thanks so much to everyone who made this day one to remember.

I went in today for a service appointment for an out of province inspection on my BMW. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by name and everyone made me feel comfortable and that my business there was valued, even if I didn't have a Subaru (my daughter does though haha)

I hate shopping for cars. However, the shopping experience at Subaru of Nanaimo was enjoyable. Richard Charley was a pleasure to deal with. He was very patient with a barrage of questions. His knowledge of the Forester model was impressive and his presentation of the features was very detailed and indicative of his enthusiasm for the car and the Subaru brand.
After purchasing the car, Seth Gallant spent well over an hour demonstrating all the buttons, functions etc. He was very knowledgeable, patient and thorough, including pairing phones to the infotainment system.
I found the pricing straight forward and clear, with low dealer fees and no sales pressure. Everyone was friendly and interested in ensuring I had the best possible experience.

This was an excellent car buying experience. Our salesman Richard Charley kept us regularly informed on the arrival of our car and was very knowledgeable and personable. The rest of the staff at Nanaimo Subaru were also very helpful and took the time to ensure we were given all the necessary information to finalize the purchase. Most dealers seem to be asking thousand of dollars above retail selling prices and are unwilling to work with customers due to low inventory. This is not the case with Nanaimo Subaru. I was amazed to find a low mileage pre-owned Honda Accord on their lot that was priced well below current market values.
I met with my salesperson Richard and was immediately impressed with the level of professionalism he presented. Considering that I previously spent 17 years in the automotive industry, finding a sales team that impressed me was not something I expected. The level of service combined with a zero pressure atmosphere and a vehicle that was well above what I was expecting, made the decision to purchase easy. The sales manager Dan and the finance Manager Lisa made the entire transaction seamless.
