Subway

I made an account just to post this review because of how embarrassing and unprofessional my experience at this Subway was. First off, the person in front of me told one of the workers multiple times to include cheese. She put it in the oven without cheese and multiple customers had to tell her to add cheese to it. To make matters worse, I explicitly tell her no cheese on mine (as I have a dairy allergy). She then continues to put cheese on it and once again, multiple customers had to jump in. Are these workers all stoned? I finish my order and pull out a coupon (I would not have ordered Subway without one). The person then let’s me know that they’re the only Subway that doesn’t accept coupon. I point out that the coupon states that it is valid at any Subway franchise (and this definitely falls under the category). Absolutely terrible experience today and I look forward to never eating here again. Very embarrassing.

A good place with easy access on campus to grab a bite, whether you are a ubc student or not.

Throughout the years of my degree, I have heard many things about this subway. Having gone there many times myself throughout this time as well, I have also seen many things. To any readers, I urge you to take these workers under your consideration. Some of them are working hard to pay their bills and others see probably close to 300 customers in their shift! So if you don’t get any special treatment or if the worker is acting neutral, you should recognize this rather than yelling at them and throwing a tantrum. The amount of times I’ve seen these workers mistreated (to the point where they had to post signage about it) is atrocious. Even with the complaints, it is rarely that I go to this subway and get a neutral experience; which is okay by the way, I just want my sandwich after all. Vast majority of times, I have a great experience because the workers are so kind and patient with my order, like today. Thank you workers of the Life Building Subway for always being attentive and working hard
