Subway

Well the sandwich was okay, but staff needs a customer first mentality. I walked in at 11: 00 and employee was decorating bread and asked me to wait a moment. I frowned at waiting for bread, but she never noticed as she never looked up. She proceeded to put herbs and cheese on 4 full racks and they began to pull out another load to do. I asked "should I come back later" and again never made eye contact to see that I was completely sarcastic. After a few seconds of her contemplating if she should agree I had to tell her that I was sarcastic. She then asked me if I was in a hurry, with the obvious reply "Does it matter"? If the Taco Time was still open I would have immediately left for there and really there is about 6 other options in the mall that won't ask me to wait while they prep bread for later. I have trouble paying $14 for a sandwich in the first place, but experiences like this make sure that I think twice about where to spend it.

Haydn was absolutely amazing and he was super attentive, nice, and was so helpful when placing and making the order. He is someone who really knows what he was doing. Only thing I want to say about this place and the reason I want to give it low is how the upper management treated him. The manager on shift would scold him over anything that happened, like missplaced stuff, and would be just overall cruddy to him, but the other girl she was with, she was super nice too and were totally friends. Seeing how Haydn was treated was horrible especially considering he was by far the best and just best employee ever.

But for whoever was there that night, deserves a negative a billion for how they treated there staff.

Staff is more concerned about carefully placing individual cheese slices on a mobile order than completing the order they've started in front of them. Cashier took cash then immediately put on gloves without washing their hands. Watched them dump new meat on top of old meat in the bins. Store is tiny and unwelcoming. Don't bother complaining to Subway, because they don't read or action your complaint, just forward it to the franchise owner (who I am guessing is the root of the problem and won't care about your concerns)

Very good Subway, probably my favorite! Clean and well taken care of, and the service is very sweet and was willing to be patient:)

This was the absolute slowest service I’ve ever witnessed at any place I’ve ever been to. It was 35 min with only 3 people in front of me
Who were all together. I literally witnessed an employee taking 10 min to make one sandwich while on the phone. Then when it came time to pay after this already frustrating ordeal I was left for 5 min while two employees screwed around with a skip order. BAD!

Not sure why but this subway is 30% more expensive than other locations.

Friendly and clean and quick. I would recommend the Canwest/westshore mall Subway over any on the island

Extremely disappointed in service tonight! Staff dedicated all their time to the delivery people (who weren't even there yet!) and I had to wait so long to be served while they made order after order after order for others. In house customers should be taken care of before delivery or telephone customers.

This morning, Manjot made my day, she was so polite and humble. I will definitely go again to see her.

Had a wonderful visit. Employee knew exactly what she was doing and what I was hungering for.

Such nice staff here who really do a good job at creating your sandwich. Also, they have fresher ingredients than any other subway I know.

I felt the way I was greeted was a bit abrasive and not welcoming. I felt the tip option on the debit machine was unacceptable in a "fast food" atmosphere.

It's a bun sandwich but the veggies you can pile on and all the sauces I like lite mayo and Chipotle and sweet onion
