Subway

My husband tried to order a sub Monday, May 1 2023. He was going to be charged $22.60 for a footling BMT. He refused to pay that price. Will never never stop there again.

I have been to this location here and there over the years because as others have stated they are very cheap with the ingredients, so wasn’t going to review until today. We had a trainee that seemed new to English as a second language so were understandably patient. Ordered a kids pack, and two foot longs (pizza sub and turkey breast with ham.) I had asked for a little bit of salt at the end.
The kids pack didn’t come with the juice box or water and the snack it is supposed to come with, and when we asked for it we tried to explain it for about 7 minutes before leaving without it because the trainee argued with us.
Upon taking a bite of mine, it was covered in pepper so I took another bite to see if I could suffer and eat it. I couldn’t and my son wouldn’t have been able to eat it either. When we returned for a refund the owner? Came over from the hotel and argued that because two bites were taken out of my sandwich they weren’t going to give a refund. She then proceeded to tell my partner that I should have been watching the guy make the sandwich and see the pepper being poured on it.
As someone who grew up around this area, it saddens me that a trainee was left by themselves without help (when it came to the kids pack) And then the owner arguing a simple refund.

Personally our family will never return to this location.

Foot long CBR only had 4 tomatoes and 3 cucumbers on it. Scared to ask for more, in case it comes out of their paycheque.

Food was ok, speed and quantity not. Did not give the meal discount with chips and drink. Almost 60 for 2 6" subs, 2 foot longs, 2 bags of chips and a bottle of water. No double meat

Worst subway EVER. Very bad experience. Avoid at all costs. Staff not at all helpful. Food not up to subway standards.

Missing half of the ingredients asked for lots of green peppers I got four on a foot long and no one was up front for ten minutes
Probably you should not go here a bit expensive compared to other branches

This Subway should be shut down.
I bought a Teriyaki rice bowl for a fellow employee.
I paid 12.50 for it,
1/2 cup lettuce
One ice cream scoop of rice
6 small cubes of chicken
2 small tomato slices
2 cucumber slices
And onion sauce.
The bowl was not even 1/2 full, 1/4 tops
I gave it to my co-worker and she said 12.50 for that. NO WAY
I took it back and the reply the manager gave was even shocking.first her words were we ate most of it.
The when the manager realized I am the owner of the restaurant on the next block.
Her reaction & reason changed.
She said if she gave everyone lettuce like the posted picture, she would run out and have to close.
We took a picture of the salad and sent it to head office, we were then told it was not acceptable and we should just go to another Subway.
Just can't believe it
We contacted global news, they will be airing our experience.
They are not welcome in my restaurant anymore.
To everyone who has the need for Subway in Cache Creek B. C.

Good things first. Very clean, pleasant staff. Bad points - bill came to $34 for two people and my salad didn't even have a cup of lettuce, maybe 3 little pieces of chicken and one strip of bacon. My husband's sandwich - the bread was stale and it was very, very short on ingredients. Don't waste your money going here

The lettuce was brown and the buns were yesterdays I’m sure. They only give very little of any veggie etc that you ask for. What you do get is very old, wilted or brown. Won’t stop there again.

Busy place! Patient people lined up to the door waiting their turn to order from a shrill stressed woman. It was well staffed and stocked and wait times were minimal once ordered. Subs were good.

The Cache creek subwaycwas very disappointing, first because the girl was too lazy to top up the tuna there was barely any on my sandwich, until male co worker spoke up and made some! After we left Secondly my husband's bun was so stale, was hard to swallow it down! Yuck! Thirdly not to notice until I took a few bites that my bun was burnt! Yuck! So upset about our experience! Most likely just drive past that subway!

We had a very rude customer in front of us and the girl (Tyna I believe is her name) was very professional and kind throughout helping her and my family. 5 Stars to her and the food

Owned by communists. They don't know what glutin free is or what allergies are. Sauces are watered down. Old vegetables. Need I say more.

Worse Subway we have ever been to. Lettuce was brown. My salad container was half full even after asking for more lettuce! Grill was broken so wraps were put in microwave. No spinach and all the other toppings were not fresh by no means. No hot water in the bathrooms to wash hands. The restaurant itself was just as cold inside as the -10 temperature outside. And our take out order for a family of 4 was not even put into a bag. I have never done a public review on a fast food place before but felt this was necessary.

Ran out of options coming through Cache Creek later than anticipated. Employee working was incredibly friendly and a true sandwich artist, she deserves a raise immediately.

This location in Cache Creek B. C.was quite stingy on the toppings.
Too bad because it was very pleasant and clean.

Friendly staff, but they are cheap with the ingredients and don't change gloves between sandwiches that can be a problem with allergies. I've went multiple times, but have been disappointed each time portion wise even when I ask for extra. (Photo of Veggie Delight 6" Sub; dry cucumbers, extra peppers and onion, ranch, tiny amount of lettuce because they ran out.)

Cache Creek subway is the best one I’ve ever been to. The staff are so friendly and helpful and whenever I do a mobile order, it is fast, fresh and correct. Highly recommend)

The person who assisted me was was engaging, friendly and very helpful.

Greens were brown and everything was old and disgusting. Eaten at a lot of Subways never this one again. Threw my sandwich out.

Good service. Only thing is they half cut and then rip their buns open. Makes everything fall off very easy when trying to eat it. Never had that before. Usually they are cut open properly.

Horrible service and veggies were old.girl kept talking back to me when I said slow down and make sub the right way instead of rushing

We were pretty disappointed in our sandwiches. My husband had to order a flat bread because they had no bread than after agreeing to have the flat bread they microwave his chicken pizzeola 2s instead of grilling it. The veggies were frost burnt so he asked to get fresh one than she continued to add into his sandwich. And we were over charged for the sandwich.

Food was good but disappointed to find out after I ordered i couldnt use my coupons here.doubling the price of what I bought

The worst subway I have ever been to the service was very bad and pushy and didn't post that they were out of suples till the end when make the last part of a sandwich not help full long wait to get service and never new that it toke two employees to clean a washroom

Usually l would rate it much better, but our sandwiches where not very good. The buns were stale & the lettuce starting to go brown on the edges.
We were at this location at around 10am - so you would think there would have been fresher products.
Also - the door entry to this location was not cleared / salted (there was a light snowfall that morning) & it was slippery on the sidewalk/ ramp walking in.
I was very disappointed as I have been to this location many times over the years.

Each time that we go here the staff are great and friendly. The service has always been good. The food is good for being a sub.

Came here for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast they were out of sausage. Lunch good was as always. Staff friendly and very efficient!

Went in there today to grab a quick sandwich and couldn't believe how rotten all the veggies looked. This subway is usually hit or miss and doesn't have the freshest vegetables, but I've never seen it that bad until today. The lettuce was brown and completely rotten, tomatoes were off, as were most the other vegetables. I was pretty shocked that they would even consider serving something like that. Probably won't be coming back to this location.

Subway "eat fresh". Sure.

Poor service at this subway. I ordered a Turkey breast wrap.
The lettuce was not fresh at all. It was very yellow looking.
I asked for new lettuce and the employee said that they just got new lettuce yesterday and said I could just get spinach which I did because the lettuce was not fresh.
They finished my order and I paid. They just left it on the white paper that they make it on.
I sat down at the table and picked up my wrap, there was bread crumbs all over my wrap and sauce that I didn't have on my wrap on the paper. Not wanting a dirty wrap, I took it back to the counter to show the employees and they started getting defensive about the whole thing so I had to argue with them in order to get my money back. I did get my money back. Definitely won't be going back there.

I've been to a lot of Subway's in large major cities and this one is exceptional. Managed by friendly East Indians, spotlessly clean premises, and 'good vibes' in the food that they serve. A popular establishment along Hwy. 97 British Columbia, Canada.

Nice little Subway in Cache Creek. Service was pleasant, and the guy made me a very good-looking sandwich. They only had a limited choice of breads though (2 kinds), not sure why.

Great location, quick service. Tried the new grilled wrap-Another great option for someone who doesn't into eating sub bread

When my family showed up (including me) at the motel there was no water in it but everything else was good

Besides a hair my sister found in her sub that may or may not have been hers, my sub was very good and I enjoyed it
