Mai, was absolutely amazing with my hair. I have thick course hair and a bit of a challenge to determine the best style and cut for it. Mai took the time to consult with me, made suggestions based on her experience and expertise, including products to use, how to use them and best way to take care of the health of my hair. I left there with an incredible hair cut, a style that will be manageable on a day to day. Mai is very knowledgeable, professional and talented and I will definitely be going back to her for my future haircuts. It was the first time that I went to Suki’s, all the staff were great!

Mai understands both the science and art of hairstyling, which is what I look for in haircut appointments and I’m happy to find in Japanese salons. She is able to go for the style I want in a reference photo while working with my hair type and head shape to make the style complimentary to me, instead of just trying to do a copy-paste but unflattering version. She’s also a calming presence and doesn’t pressure me to talk the whole time, but when we do chat, our conversations are full of substance and enjoyable.

The staff are also friendly and courteous and I can sense the teamwork among them, so they can “baton-pass” tasks like cleaning up or refilling supplies after another stylist who’s busy with a client (not a “not my mess, not my work” mentality).

Jenny is an amazing hair stylist. Myself, my daughters and my grandchildren are Jenny’s client. We are extremely satisfied and very happy to have her as our stylist. We highly recommend Jenny.

Karissa was an amazing hairdresser/ stylist. I was so happy with my hair cut. She took my long straight hair and cut off about 6 inches and really took her time with creating depth in the layers and over all body and volume to my hair. Karissa is someone you can definitely put your trust in and have great conversations with during your appointment, she made me feel heard and comfortable and overall gave me a great haircut.

Another fantastic experience with Layla! She was so great and always does everything I asked. Morgan the assistant was also a delight!
