Summerland Sweets

Went for ice cream, many to choose from. Summerland Sweets has wonderful fruit syrups and jams. Also many gift items.

I love jam, so Naturally I love Summerland sweets. Oh yeah. They have ICE CREAM too. Mmmmmmm.ice cream

We have stopped here many times and it is a spot we regularly bring our visitors to. Unfortunately we feel deceived by a recent purchase. We bought a bag of Real Fruit Gummies expecting that they were made on site. We later discovered that the exact same product is available from Costco for less than half the price.

We like to support local small businesses but don’t like being misled. Quite disappointing.

Very yummy ice cream, jams, wines, etc. Great selection of local artists including pottery, art, handmade gifts. It has something for everyone.
Walking distance to the trestle bridge. Very scenic.

Must stop while visiting Summerland! Their sweets and treats are the top! Every time I pass by I stop and get some jam and sirup for myself.

A must go to place.

A must visit when you are in Summerland. The shop is full of lovely ceramics, jams, syrups and wine!
They have a nice patio area with picnic tables (dog friendly) to enjoy the scenery and have your ice cream.
We ended up with dessert wines to take home.
You can walk up the road about 200m and watch the steam train (11am and 2pm) then walk across the bridge for some IG worthy pictures.

Love the jams and syrups. Found different flavors the than in the grocery store, like coffee jam and pumpkin butter. Had an ice cream cone, great price.got a lot.

Went for walk over KVR trestle & then stopped at Summerland Sweets for ice cream. Picked up a few syrups & treats as gifts

Lovely shop but the ice cream was pretty horrible, unfortunately. It would be a major improvement if they made it in house or had it made by a local farmer or artisan

So awesome. Haven't been here since before Covid, and we would always make a stop here in Summerland. They have great tasting fruit wines and perfect with a side of ice cream. It is worth doing a wine tasting, lots of variety for a decent price. Would recommend.

It is a great gift shop.love the pottery, the jams and the syrup. Then top off your visit great ice cream!

The cranberry wine is amazing. Have it with turkey or on the patio on a summer day. Add a twist of lemon. The staff are very helpful.

Not as much selection as usual- understandable due to Covid. They have a lot more wine and now vinegars.

Terrific little jem in Summerland, wide selection of jams and syrop plus fruit wine and icecream and other Summerland treasures. This is a "Must visit" when you're here

Would have liked to try the wine however it was closed during our visit but we enjoyed the unique selection of products; picked up coffee beans and a selection of jams to give as gifts

Most amazing jams and syrups that are soo good on breakfast toast and waffles and pancakes and Ice cream! The wine and treats are amazing! Due to covid you cannot taste the wine this year. Sad! But we understand completely and are greatful they are open!
Stop by for amazing ice cream on a hot day and look at the steam train that comes by (except this year).

I bought a box of jams from here. This place is a hidden gem. The rasberry rocky mountain ice cream was awesome too.

Staff were really friendly even tho i was wearing a mask. A road trip to Kelowna would not be a road trip without a visit to this place

Swung by, bought some cheap syrups, and browsed the amazing selection. If you like fruit syrups, these are amazing!

We ordered little jams for our wedding favours and they were soooooo adorable and yummy. Our guests loved them! And we loved the look and price! For the size the price is fantastic! Plus the product was soooo delicious

We always make a point to stop in here when traveling thru or around the Okanagan. This year we spent a week camping just outside Summerland and we made it to Summerland Sweets 3 times! The kids love the ice cream and my wife and I love the wine! We came home with lots to last us until next time!
The outdoor sitting areas work great and the KVR bridge is a short walk down the road.

This place is just amazing. Variety, size, flavour and price of the ice cream is just second to none. They also have a large variety of fruit wines, syrups, jams and other sweets. The branding is specially beautiful. Looks homemade and rustic. The tasting for jams, syrups and wines is exquisite. The venue is big, spacious and very pleasant to the eye. A great place to bring back something home form the Okanagan.

Ice cream is great and is a good factor to are town, and Isa great place to visit if you're in town.

Great ice-cream friendly staff, we were able walk down to the train tracks and watch the steam train stop and take on water.

If you are craving a wide variety of ice cream, this place is the best for you. Staffs are amiable, and most of all, you will never be disappointed by both the quantity and the quality of your scoops since they are ”generous”. There is no doubt that this place is one of the must-visit places in Summerland)

Newly Weds and we spent our time at Summerland.
Most of the places here are dead because nothing has bloomed yet during April 15.
Easter has more stuff to do so we got our wines here and jams.

It's true that it's almost the same as a supermarket.
They have kids stuff as well here.
Worth the trip but when summer comes in then it's probably be better to also go somewhere else and shop before buying.

For off season, this is one of the good spot to go to.
It has something worth taking a picture of.

Really enjoy their syrups. Not a fan of their wine. Disappointed with the changes to their icecream costs and sizes.

I have thoroughly enjoyed their products for over 15 years. I travel for business and always take a few boxes of the 312 gram size of fruit jellies for gifts. These jellies are always well-received, this is a good way to start a business meeting. In short, the best little ambassador the Okanagan has to offer.
