Not recommended. The rental bikes here are beat up.
My wife was riding and the rear brake just gave out in the middle of a run and she crashed and hurt herself really bad.

Try to rent from other shops.

Absolutely disorganized place. We are almost the only customers in a shop and are waiting to start being served for 25 minutes by now, while about a dozen of technicians are fooling around doing nothing but chatting. How the place can be managed THAT bad I may only imagine

Very slow. We have been moved around the whole store by staff and nobody was serving us. All the techs walking around doing absolutely nothing while we are standing there. Bikes aren't serviced great either.

Super friendly staff and amazing service! Fraser went above and beyond to help find the right gear that would best suit my riding style despite it being the end of season with limited options available.
I ended up walking away with just a pair of bindings but I will for sure be back early next season to buy my boots and snowboard from this store.

Got my board waxed and asked them to buff it again since I could feel many sticky spots. Came back and it was still not great. Ended up buying a brush and finishing it off myself.

Exceptional service and rental experience. We had 3 ski days and ski rental process was very smooth. They allow to store the personal footwear in baskets in the store but we stored the equipment in the hotel storage. Recommended.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Perfectly set up rental bikes.

My son and I had an amazing day at the bike park thanks to the rentals team here. They made sure my son was on the right size bike (I didn't book the right size) and answered all questions.

The bikes ran perfect. Super quiet. All I could here was the hum of my tires on the trail. The location is super convenient.

I brought my filthy bike in to their shop on a quick lunch break to ask for help about a chain that kept coming off while riding the park. A skilled and friend mechanic named Brendon, got in there past the mud, made some adjustments and had me out of there in 10 minutes. The bike is still performing better that ever and the chain rarely is a problem now. Thank you, much appreciated.

We booked and paid far in advance online. When we got there they were not expecting us. The bikes were not ready so we lost a bit of time. They also require you to carry your bike up and down two storeys of a concrete outdoor staircase to take the bikes from their shop. This was absurd to us but thankfully we’re in good shape and can handle it - but what about people that can’t? The bikes are of great quality though and although we got bounced around 4 different people to get service, each person was kind and seemed genuine! But the company expecting their clients to carry the bikes up and down two storeys’ worth of concrete stairs is simply bad customer service/experience.

I purchased an edge sharping for my snowboard. Instead of sharpening my edges, they deliberately dulled ("detuned") them. They said if I wanted to fix it, I would need to purchase another another edge sharpening and they would actually sharpen it this time. If you are going for a tune up, double check they are doing what you expect.

Awesome place. Had a broken part on my Snowboarding boot and no questions asked fixed it and a quick period of time. Friendly people! Highly recommend

Came in to get my binding fix. Took a couple of minutes and I was all set. Good selection of ski/board accessories. Great location right next to the gondola.

Recommend this place for storing your own ski equipment. Reasonable price. Nice staff. Fast service. Convenient location. No longer have to carry stuff around!

This place was unorganized. The equipment is average at best. I wouldn’t rent here. It’s basically for first time Skiers. My wife’s equipment malfunctioned on the mountain. I waited in long lines to get equipment I already reserved online. UNORGANIZED

Really good customer service, the boys working behind the counter and on the bikes do a really good job! Had some issues online but the staff where really helpful and matched the online prices! Made my time at whistler heaps more fun and less stressful than I was expecting! Great bikes and they are actually looked after! Cheers Ryan and Skinner for the great help!

Hired 2 premium downhill bikes, the suspension set up was a bit off, super stiff on the front and rebound was super slow on the rear. Other than that bikes were good. Service was fast and staff were friendly.

As soon as i walked in looking for a Dh mt bike rental he had me sized n bike ready to go hit the trails within minutes. Fast and courteous staff. Highly recommend them to all my friends and for future rentals from me. The GT Fury bike they supplied for my day of awesomness didnt disappoint.

I’ve gone through three snowboard boots in the last couple of seasons, each has tons of issues. I found Summit Sport by accident after having to cut my riding day short because of my boots issues. I went to a couple other stores in the village looking to get properly fitted but they just asked me to try on random boots. I walked into Summit Sport not expecting anything, but Fraser took notice of me and started measuring me left and right, he got me properly fitted and went above and beyond trying to get me a colour I wanted. He was very knowledgeable, understanding and patient. If you’re looking for the best boot fitter in Whistler, go to Summit Sport and ask for Fraser. He knows his stuff.

Staff is a mixed bag, some people really know a lot about how to properly fit boots and ski rentals, others not knowledgeable at all. Prices very high, even by Whistler standards. The rental skis were also of acceptable quality. My biggest complaint is that they only have 2 types of rental boots that are extremely cheaply made with no padding, they hurt like heck and lost me 2 days of skiing just from pain. Other things I found it annoying they had the store upstairs and the fitting and storage downstairs so you had to walk up a flight of stairs with your boots and skis everyday. Also they didn't store boots either you had to store them in the room, hardly "ski in ski out" If you're staying at the Hilton like I was consider checking out some other shops in the area that have better quality boots for rental, better pricing, and are on the same level as the gondolas so you don't have to clunk up the stairs everyday. The staff were courteous and polite and there were no "major" issues but trust me, you really don't want bad quality boots hurting your feet it can ruin your ski trip.

I wish it were possible to give a 0 or even a -1 star. Quite literally the easiest one star review I'll ever give though. Short story, spent over an hour here just to hire two pairs of boots with boards plus one set of skis and boots.

Long story: We arrive into the place and there's no signs of what to do (also relatively quiet). Eventually notice some computers down the back and type in our details. Proceed to wait a bit and then go to front counter as we had no idea where to go. A girl decides to help us at this point. She asks what size boots the two snowboarders in our group require and tells me she will get my ski stuff done later, walks off. Comes back after a while and says one pair of boots is out of stock and she must go somewhere else to get them? Goes away for another 10 mins.

By now it's been something like 25 mins. She comes back with boots and something is finally happening. She gets one board and struggles to give any pricing. She gets another board and says now she will put bindings on. Fast forward another 10-15 minutes, not even one set of bindings on. I decide I'll just go somewhere else and suddenly the staff are keen to speed up the process. A guy comes over to help actually give me boots (by that point it had been around 35-40 mins and I hadn't even looked at a pair of boots). He gets the boots and a new girl comes to get my skis. During this time the original sales girl had managed to attach one pair of bindings.

Now it's been around 50 minutes and I have boots, skis and poles yet the boarders are still waiting. Shortly after we go to pay while the girl finishes the bindings. Upon going to sign documents we realize no one was asked about helmets, no one was asked about cover, two of us were marked as the incorrect amount of days and one of us had the wrong equipment type.

At the end of it we entered the shop at 9: 20 (maybe 9: 22) and left at 10: 30, I have text messages to a friend during this time where I discussed each stage as he was waiting in line to get the gondola up and telling us to just cut our losses and hire somewhere else. Should've listened to him.

This shop is unorganized and unequipped to handle busy periods. It wasn't even busy by Whistler standards and it took us over an hour from a staff member joining us to get 3 of us setup with equipment. Eventually we had a second staff member help, who had 1 of us setup with skis and boots in the time it took the other just to attach 1 set of bindings to a snowboard.
Our booking was incorrectly setup for 2 days instead of 1, and one of us was incorrectly charged the wrong level of equipment because we were never asked the right questions to begin with. After taking forever for our boards to get bindings we moved to stand near the desk, but was told to go over somewhere else and sit down because us watching her was 'off putting'.
I can only assume this staff member was new, but she wasn't equipped to do her job in a semi-busy period and other staff members were more keen on standing around talking to each other than trying to help her.
