Very reasonable prices for baked goods. Tasty rice rolls, congee, steamed pork buns and sticky rices. My favorite place in Vancouver to get a quick snack, or full take out breakfast.

Great baos, buns, and everything else too. From congee, to sticky rice wraps and dimsum, come and get them fresh. This place has been around for decades, and hopefully for even more to come.

There is "rice roll" which I like to eat. Every time I go to Vancouver-Chinatown, our whole family will buy "rice rolls".

Got the fried pork dumplings (xian shui jiao) that I had been craving, since New Town was closed. The sticky rice part was particularly good, excellent quality and flavour, the filling was fine but room temp didn't show it in the best light (we ate it on the street). A pity we had already grabbed some other goods from Maxim's next door - there were more interesting looking items at Sun Fresh.

Prices have gone up quite a bit since I last came here. But still decent. Fried rice noodles are yummy and their fresh pulled for you steamed rice "cheung fan" are great. Also takes plastic now with $5 min

I was craving congee and their chicken congee is oh, so good! I normally avoid congee because most of the time I found it bland. But not this one

2021 Review: Good place to pick up your favourite Chinese baked goods in historic Vancouver Chinatown. They also have a many choices of cooked foods like fried noodles and congee. Sun Fresh went from having the cheapest, highest-quality meat buns in the city to New Town levels of fall-off inside of a month.

We've been ordering from them for about 4 months now, every Saturday without fail. Pretty much everything on the menu was great and their service was top notch.

Then it started going downhill. Items were missing from every order with random substitutions or nothing at all. The vermicelli consistently tasted of scorched oil. Canada Day weekend, everything went up in price by $1-2 per item.

Yesterday was our last order. Scorched oil vermicelli, noticeably smaller chicken buns, and they shorted us a full order of pan-fried pork buns with no substitutions and no refund.

These guys clearly have no respect for their customers, and I'm done supporting them.

Chinese dim sum and pastries are inexpensive and made fresh to order. They also have day old stuff on the front counter at a discount. Enjoyed their dim sum items, baos, congee, and pan fried dumplings. One of few bakeries that accept credit card!

Pork buns are soft and so good and more fillings. The price is cheaper than New Town and Bao. This is where I am going to buy my pastries from now on.

Had everything I wanted AND took my US credit card. Third bakery I tried and so happy I found one that wasn’t cash only.

Prices are good, foods decent, but there was a broken drill bit in my sui mai. Not a very pleasant find.

Fast and courteous service. Line ups may be long based on the wamts of the customers ahead of you. All food is authentic, fresh and great prices. One of our favs are the pan fried pork buns that are in limited quantities and made only once a day mid morning so the sell out fast. The beef rice roll is yummy and made to order. So many choices!

I buy congee, noodles, and/or buns in the morning. Food is tasty and the ladies that work there are super efficient and sweet

One of the few remaining bakeries, they make a good rice roll and nice big BBQ pork steamed buns. Pan fried pork buns are great.

Great place. Service is friendly.

Occasionally, it will take a while for a short line to move, as some customers have extravagant requests.
