Rude staff. As many other reviews mention, they tried to take off my nails by just popping them off which damages your own nails. Tammy is very hostile and doesn’t treat customers well. This place was good when the previous owner was there but now you should avoid.

I have been coming to this salon since the previous owners but took a break with polishing and came back after the pandemic. Happy to say Tammy does a splendid job filling in Emmy’s shoes. She is very meticulous and highly capable of her art.

She replicates each photo inspo I show her and results are even better. I asked her one time for a French ombré which typically is done with acrylic/powder but she managed to do it using Shellac which is more affordable. I had to be in an out as well in less than an hour and she did it less than that, as two ladies were tag teaming both my pedicure and manicure.

They are so sweet with my young daughter as well and offer kids polish for $10 nail art included! You’ll get better service here that the other chain nail salons on the area. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here now 3 times and every single time my nails have chipped within a week. I’ve never really had that happen before anywhere else? Even when I went in to get it fixed one time, they seemed annoyed that they had to do it and the layer of top coat completely came off soon after. I think service wise, they’re ok, but they need to train their girls better. Two out of the three times, the nail techs have required help from somebody else and only put one layer of top coat that wasn’t properly set. Unfortunately going to start having to go somewhere else:/

I'm surprised this seems to just have happened to me, but I have never felt so incredibly uncomfortable at a nail salon. I went to get a pedicure, I sat down and waited a full 45 minutes. I was tempted to leave but I'd read great reviews. The sad part is, the girl who did my pedicure was incredibly nice and detailed. I loved her work. But the owner.

If I made a comment or said something to the girl, she'd immediately roll her eyes and start talking in her language. I don't know why it seemed to just be happening to me. She was doing a manicure but I caught her staring at me numerous times. It must have been 7 times or so that I said something, even just a joke, to the girl and she immediately started talking about me. I felt like I was in high school again being bullied.

I got out of there as quickly as I could, gave a great tip personally to the girl who did my pedi. But what the heck it was the most uncomfortable experience of my life. So much for an enjoyable, relaxing pedicure. I should have trusted my gut and left at the beginning.

I’ve been coming here for about 6 months and love it everytime! I never have a nail chip or break and the attention to detail is what keeps me coming back. Absolutely recommend for anyone in the area!

I LOVE this business! I’ve been coming here for about two years, twice a month, and they are simply the best! My manicures and pedicures are always top notch and they never chip.

The staff is so lovely, kind, and friendly. They’re accommodating and super fast too - Im usually in and out in about 1hour or so.

Please ignore the bad reviews on here about them. They’re totally inaccurate. This business has never ever let me down - they do such a fantastic job. It’s clean, sanitary, safe, and very reasonably priced. I can’t say anything negative because there aren’t any! They’re wonderful!:)

Called ahead and made appointment. Then showed up about 10 minutes early and was told to come back in 45 mins. Waste of time. No apologies. Not sure how this place is rated so high. Very tiny shop. Parking is basically non existent as well.

I used to come here but haven't been for years. I think they have a new owner now with multiple technicians. It's great that they are always on time and efficient. The gel nail lasts no problem but I feel like they can spend more time on cleaning the cuticles (which needs a lot of careful cleaning). I can see new layer of nail just in 7 day, whereas pervious owner, it can last me a month before seeing new nail growing because she did spend the time in maximizing my nail bed.

I don't know if they hired new people, or they got bought out but I used to live in Vancouver and used to go to them them about every two weeks. I was in love with the ladies working at the time. They did such a great, detailed job and were SO nice.

When I booked my trip to visit Vancouver I obviously needed to make a visit. I was so excited to visit. Yet when I got there I didn't recognize anyone - which is fine people move on.

However, once there they sat me on the only broken massage chair which - why would you do that when the others are working just fine and I was the only one there? It was uncomfortable. Then the pedicure lady hurt me with clippers a few time and - my feet are smoother - but not smooth. The hand nail lady didn't even look at my cuticles plus when I told them I had some left over shellac from my previous color they just said "no, they are just yellow" however - I know it was the previous color because I have a bad habit of picking the nail polish off which I had been doing minutes before I got there so I know it was the polish.

Idk. I left very disheartened.

Had a mani pedi. My toenail polish has lasted 3 weeks and going but I just can't let a non-existent massage go! A big part of the pedi or mani is the massage. You leave that out at the rest is just a fluffed up polish change. I didn't get any massaging of hands or feet unfortunately. Otherwise average and stereotypical nail salon.

Good manicure and great price! Heads up though, it’s a little cold in the salon. Pack some layers.

(caveat: I made this review last October. The comment about it being cold would only apply for winter months)

I get my acrylic fills done here every month. I cannot recommend them enough! The service is so well done and the nail techs are so friendly. They really take the time to get to know you and your preferences and remember them for the next time. I love how they work with me and give suggestions for what I'll like based on what I've gotten before. They prices are also super fair and reasonable. I anticipate getting my nails done in 2 - 2.5 hours each time which I don't mind because they take their time and go back and fix anything I'm not completely happy with like the shape or length or the thickness of the acrylic. So so happy that I found this place!

Super sweet ladies, the manicurist (i didn’t catch her name I’m sorry!) did exactly what I wanted for my manicure and for a really great price! I just showed her a picture of what I wanted and set it as my phone background so she had an example to look at. If it wasn’t perfect she wiped the flower off right away and did it again, even though I didn’t see what was wrong with it. A lot of other nail ladies at other places wouldn’t be as much of a perfectionist/care so much <3 I had actually gotten a pedicure two days before and had such a nice time, I went back and got a shellac manicure. Thank you Sun Moon Nails Spa! First time getting a pedicure/a manicure done in 3 years and I was super happy with everything.

Dont come here for acrylic nail removal, tammy (the owner) shoved an acrylic nail UNDER my already grown out acrylic nail. I honestly yelped asking her to stop.and ripped of a layer of my nail and now its ruined.

This Sun Moon Nails spa place is actually an exceptional experience that I have had in my whole life. I never thought changing the nail place I went would be such a good thing.

Had a manicure and pedicure at Sun Moon Nails and the quality was brilliant, highly recommended! Overall I paid $60 for a regular pedicure and gel manicure (plus tip) and I will happily go back.

I have just had my nails done in here. I did pedicure & medicure combo with a very happy price. Both technicians did the same time so i saved a lot of time. I felt relaxed after finishing. Great service with a free parking lot.

I always leave feeling fresh and happy with my nails. Tammy always gives me an elegant, well shaped, well polished nail set and my feet always feel great after a pedicure.
I am a busy body person and my nails always hold up great to my active lifestyle.

I was really excited to find a place that was within 2 km of my place. I got nails done, I didn’t love the way they turned out but I was happy with the service! I got home and realized that the nails were wayyyy to skinny for my fingers, which I expressed to the nail technician, but she continued. Within 12 hours 2 broke. I went back the next day and asked for a refund because I think that’s fair, I paid 70$ for nails just for them to break and get removed (for free) the next day. As a student I’m now broke, and honestly just sad. The nail tech called the owner and he said that he would make the nail tech pay for it or re do the nails. My nails were dead from all the stuff I got done and so I want gonna sit and get them done again. So now I’m 70$ out and honestly very depressed about how the owner talked to me.

My favorite go-to nail salon since 2017.they take their time and do a good job every single time.very affordable too!

I'm so happy with the quality of service and how beautiful my nails turn out! I came in for a shellac manicure with a design and was expecting to be charged an arm and a leg after I saw how nice my nails were. But I was so surprised at how affordable the services were at Sun Moon Nail Spa. They have a wide range of colours and I've already gotten so many compliments for these! I definitely will be coming back.

I’ve been hesitant to go get my nails done in general due to current circumstances but I received amazing service, place was clean, hand sanitizers were provided and everyone wore a mask. They did both my hands and feet at the same time so I was out of there in record time. Price was much more reasonable than other salons in the area and the service was super friendly. Worth every minute/penny. Strongly recommend.

Just walked in for a pedi with my mother, the ladies were very kind and accommodating. Both technicians paid great attention to detail and did a fantastic job. Also complying to Covid-19 regulations making us feel safe.

Wow! Honestly one of the best pedicures I’ve had ever! I have some troublesome toenails and overall my feet require a lot more attention and I am beyond thrilled about the service I’ve received. So professional, friendly and super clean salon. Highly recommend!
