Sundance Lodge

Breanna I think her name is. Is an absolute gem. She got us all checked and explained everything perfectly. If anyone deserves a raise or a higher position it's this girl. Super friendly and accommodating for what we needed.

The rooms are clean and big and pet friendly. Happy we were able to snag a room. Definitely stay here.

Stayed here a few months ago for a conference. Room was a bit dated, but everything was clean. Parking fee was waived because we checked in late in the evening. Front desk staff and manager were very friendly and responsive when I needed some help with paperwork a few weeks after my stay. Great experience!

Actually just ended up going for a drive from Chase to Sunpeaks for lunch and lucked out and caught the the few races of the downhill mountain bike races and one of the races was the winning time for the weekend of compation that was being held.

Great accommodation and lots to do on site. Bottoms grill is a great place to eat. Would recommend.

Great location in the heart of the village. Unit 307 had 2 floors and was perfect for our stay. Lots of room considerring it was a hotel suite. Fridge and kitchen were perfect.

This hotel is our go to when staying at Sun Peaks. Ski in and out at the best location in the village. It is so close to all the shops and restaurants and has incredible views.

307 is our favorite room with its roomy loft which has a queen bed and tons of extra floor space. The sofa bed on the main level is very comfortable. The high Ceiling and large windows brings in bright and airy feeling. The gas fireplace makes it so cozy after a winter day on the slopes.

The staff are very friendly. There is a storage area to lock up all your Skis/Snowboard/Bikes.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Quirky hotel. We stopped here for one night between Jasper and Vancouver. If you are into mountain bikes then this should satisfy. Ski resort in winter.

Sundance lodge is great place to stay, but I due not recommend capones or mountain high pizza. Stay away from there. There is better restaurants up in the village. Good place Sundance lodge bottoms is a good pub with decent food but it closes at 7 pm the kitchen and they make up there own specials as they go, the pub stays open after that you have to eat dinner early most people that work at Sundance come from Australia prices for rooms go down during the week days. On weekends goes up stay away from mountain high pizza 85 dollars for 2 large pizzas and there not very good at all I ve been to sun peaks 10 times for workcation friendly front desk and cleaners thanks an enjoy beautiful sun peaks better food awaits in the village

You cannot beat the location and convince in getting to the slopes. Though clean, the rooms are a step back in time, they are dated. Great staff!

Very good location, but old and noisy hotel.
Refrigerator is very old and makes loud sounds on and off during the night. Water boiler is not usable (old, rusty, discolor the water)
At night people continue to chat and have parties inside and outside the hotel. We can clearly hear everything from rooms upstair and next doors.
Expensive room charges, and keep increasing every year.

I was put off by the requirement at check-in to either pay the hotel $24 per night for parking or navigate the Sun Peaks parking system at $15 per night. It's very guest unfriendly for this to be one of the first things that happens. I'd recommend including one vehicle overnight parking with each room, and charging for extra vehicles. Other random notes would include difficulty getting a hot shower in the morning or after skiing, and in my case, a tight cluttered room layout. Location was great, room was clean, staff was friendly.

Just recently stayed here. The location was great but. The room was dirty dried ketchup on walls spilled pop on carpet and walls room needed a good cleaning. Cleaners not taking pride in their work. The rooms and hotel needs an update. I fully understand that they get leaks over time but walls and ceiling's, also around windows. For parking being charged to park in P2 where other people park for free. Then when you ask front counter for service they just tell you it is what it is and if you have issues go to sun peaks guest services to voice your concerns. We usually stay at other hotels where you get treated alot better but we thought we would stay this time at Sundance Lodge. Which we will not be staying here again and will be letting family and friends know about the poor experience we had.

Excellent location - directly beside the lifts and numerous restaurants. Gorgeous mountain views from the rooms and outdoor hot tub.

The property has not been renovated in many years. However the room was functional and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the shower was hot and there were plenty of fluffy towels. NOTE: bath and in room coffee amenities are minimal, pack accordingly.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Sun Dancer for a reasonably priced winter getaway. Thanks to the hard working front desk and housekeeping staff for a wonderful Sun Peaks vacation!

Closest hotel to ski lifts. Location is their biggest advantage. Very friendly staff. Hotel is long overdue some renovations, kitchen and flooring are likely original when hotel was built in 1996.
