Sunny Market

Great spot to hit after Home Depot. Love all food that I can't find normally like herbal tea ingredients, certain fruit and veges. And of course the amount of snacks I've never heard of before. Love it.

Just found out yesterday that there are varieties of natto being sold here. And some of their merchandise are less expensive than Man Lee or Fairway Market.

We had so much fun collecting a variety of food. Great location and friendly staff. We will be back!

Oh my goodness! What a wonderful little store that have better price than the main stream one. Would like to see more variety of instant noodles in the near future ;)

A nice market with all sorts of Chinese spices and oriental food selections. More varieties than fairway market and normally are lower priced as well. In the frozen section, there are lots of hot pot supplies and dim sum selections.

Just went for the first time since I wanted some fun snacks and I love their selection, I grew up where a lot of the Asian food was fairly westernized and sweets focused but am so happy to live near this little shop, definitely need to try everything in there! Thank you for being awesome?
(Ps this shop is so clean, like you can see in how they present themselves that they have pride in their store!)

Little store but have a lots of stuff, many deals as well. No matter you want some snacks or cooking stuff you can find them all in the store and the location is great as well!

First time checking this market place out and thought it was great. Reasonably priced and fresh produce. Highly recommend.

A little Asian/Chinese grocery store in North Nanaimo. It smaller and has less interesting things vs Man Lee but prices are a little better though. Decent selection for it's size and good place to buy things for hot pot.

This is the one we've been waiting for. High quality selection for Asian foods. Great variety of noodles, sauce dried fish & mushrooms. Wonderful choice of frozen fish (eel!) and dim sum. They are also selling fresh produce. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly most importantly they keep this store immaculately clean, organized and uncluttered. I will be doing more and more shopping here! Welcome to the island:)

Checked out Sunny Market yesterday for the first time. It is a small Asian grocer with lots of dry and frozen snacks/foods. I'm very pleased with the variety of products they carry and am very excited about the bubble tea popsicles. Will be returning regularly!

A modest Asian grocer with some hidden gems! I love the milk tea candies I picked up there. Friendly service and well kept!

This is a great store. Tons of selection, clean and organized, and high quality products. Nanaimo was in dire need of a store like this. I will be back.

A great store and even though it caters almost entirely to Chinese food, there's good variety. It's small but still rivals the selection at many shops in Vancouver or Richmond. This is now our go to store for a lot of groceries.
The shelf signs aren't in English though, so beginners beware.
