Fantastic food and service! The space is a little cramped, but the fact that they were so busy speaks for itself.

Service was excellent, food was excellent, Caesar eas excellent, bacon was excellent, would definitely repeat the experience.

The eggs beni were absolutely fantastic, the hash browns seemed a bit off, still good but could've been better. Service was good and friendly and the patio outside was very nice. Prices a bit higher then usual but similar to other establishments with similar atmosphere. It was clean and neat, I would recommend and return.

As seen Big Food Bucket List, I tried the chicks on a raft and it did not disappoint. Unlike anything I've tried before, the bacon, eggs, and peanut butter were delicious. We sat at the bar and watched the chefs do their thing which was fascinating in itself. Big kudos to them on that alone. The only thing I will say is that we left feeling/smelling greasy. It didn't bother us all that much but it was definitely due in part to the open kitchen concept:)

We had coffee and orange juice to drink. Chicken and waffles as well as one of their breakfast sandwiches. Everything was fresh and super delicious. Great design, super friendly staff, quick service and absolutely delicious food. The place to be but expect a bit of a wait on the weekends.

We were greeted by a very friendly server and the food was delicious. We went in on a Thursday morning and it wasn't too busy. The decor and feel of the place was very trendy. My 3 year old loved her pancake and bacon she got (we had to order sides for her as they don't have a kids menu). For the only breakfast place we could find in the area open at 7: 30am (other than Timmies), and considering the bright yellow colours and images of dogs everywhere, it was really not kid friendly. My husband had to run back to the hotel to get a portable high chair for our 9 month old so he could eat (he loves the hashbrowns and scrambled eggs) and there was no change station in the bathroom so I had to run back to the hotel to change him which ended my meal abruptly.

Only improvement would be letting dogs on the patio, given the restaurant is named after a dog!

I walked into Sunny's and Robyn noticed me right away. I could tell she was the Head Chef, as she directed personal to where i sat.
I have been trying a number of places in Kelowna, hoping to find a great breakfast place.
I found it here as the first thing i noticed is the Robyn was using brown eggs. Being raised on a farm in Saskatchewan and raised hens the brown eggs have more flavor and add more taste to the morning breakfast. The meal was prepared right in front of me and came to me directly from the cook. The Eggs Benedict had so much flavour from the sauce and melted in my mouth. The Sour dough bread gave it a bit of a bite. The hash browns were just like my mother made which i miss. I found the meal to be excellent and i will be back to try a few more of the dishes on the menu
The service was also excellent from the beginning to the end.
I will be back to enjoy more great food from this place called Sunny's

What an interesting and surprising spot. I came for breakfast and left elated. I had a scramble thing which was heaven on a plate. The hollandaise sauce came out of a whip cream dispenser. Need I say more? You would have thought it was dispensed from the nipple of Jesus Christ himself.

The atmosphere was one of the best I’ve experienced for brunch, ever. Warm and inviting, and courteous and genuinely kind staff, even the lovely chef who checked in with us behind the bar top with a big smile.

This is a place that makes you think they’ve figured it out as a small business. Clearly a great place to work, as it was lovely to enjoy brunch here.

Be sure to try the pear juice!

Sunnys is for sure a monthly treat, the Chefs are on point and are so lazer focused on makeing your breaky perfect! Most def the best shaved hashbrowns in Kelowna. If you are looking for the #1 breakfasts spot in town look no further.

My favourite breakfast/lunch place in Kelowna! I always order their BLT with avocado instead of tomato and it is SO good. I've never had a bad meal here, and everyone I've ever taken has said the same. The staff are incredible as well! Very friendly, funny, kind, and damn good at their jobs. I cannot recommend this place enough!

My wife and I went there today and were both surprised by the quality of food and service. Very unique setup, the kitchen is front and center so you can watch your food being cooked and assembled. Which in my opinion, shows the confidence they have in their product and staff. I had the big dog hash, and my wife had the veggie Bennie. Flavours were on point, everything was cooked/seasoned properly. Great flavours. Excellent value for what you get in my opinion, good portions. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Definitely a must try breakfast/brunch.

What a place! Was pleasantly surprised to find it without a line around the corner. Great staff, amazing food, and great tunes.

Very tasty with a great selection of things to choose from. Personally, the star of any of the dishes were the amazing fresh eggs. Will definitely drop by again!

Really impressed. I ordered the daily special. I don't know what it was called but it was very good and filling. It was like a wacky eggs Benedict. My wife had the regular egg bennie. She thought the serving was too small, but then couldn't finish it. I guess she eats (and looks) like a model. More for me. The side of hash browns was really brown (and black). Nice and crispy, and moist. I finished it all and I never do that.
Price very reasonable as well.

Today's Special was Incredible, but then I haven't had anything on the menu that isn't.

I come here almost weekly, and would recommend the Big Dog Hash.

Staff are always friendly, and attentive.

Great location to start or end a walk along the lake.

The big dog bowl is to die for. Perfect pulled pork, delicious eggs, a flavor explosion for sure. Recommend for breakfast and lunch!

Not surprised there is a lineup for brunch! We walked the gorgeous Kelowna pier while we waited for our seat and it soooo worth it. Such a fun and unique vibe! Homemade cheez whiz celery as a Ceasar garnish? So yummy! It was especially nice to see the staff kindly checking in on one another as they kept up with the rush. Such a well oiled machine. Thank you team for a great experience - we will definitely be back!

Got asked to leave because we brought in a high chair for my 1 year old daughter. We asked for a manager and she apologized to us multiple times however the damage was already done. My wife and I have been to thousands of restaurants and this has never happened. We were absolutely shocked and I don’t care what their excuse will be this is unacceptable.

Excellent food! Courteous servers. Great location by the lake.vibrant yellow garden umbrellas in the patio add to the cheer. Worth the wait if you must a few minutes! Fruit bowl looked as good as it tasted. Egg preparations were nice too and the hash browns were great

I frequent sunnys almost weekly,
Always bringing my mask (I fully support masks though I always sit on the outside patio so it’s unnecessary).
Today unfortunately I forgot my mask in the car and their large patio on the street was closed to my surprise. Thankfully their main, smaller patio was open with room. To my surprise the hostess informs me that with no mask I cannot even sit on the patio or “ use their facility in any way”. My table would have been literally 3 feet away from the entrance and OUTSIDE but with attitude I was told no mask no service. Considering I even expressed my regret for forgetting my mask, expressing my support for masks, and expressing my confusion on why I couldn’t dine outdoors when I’ll never enter the indoor portion of the restaurant, I was turned away with not only attitude but being laughed at by staff and patrons already on the outdoor patio. I SUPPORT MASKS, SIMPLY FORGOT MINE ONCE AND WAS TRYING TO EAT OUTDOORS WHERE I NEVER ENTER THE BUILDING! It’s fantastic you’re going above and beyond to this extreme making up your own rules but because of this you’ve lost a loyal customer who even fully supports all

Really loved the diverse breakfast menu with lots of unique options. The food was excellent and they did a great job providing vegetarian options for our family. The service was acceptable but our server seemed to have difficulty attending to our table in a timely fashion.

Our hunger pangs were on full tilt, but we agreed to shackle our tummy's demands for the one (1) hour wait that was required to get a table at Sunny's.
Sooner than expected we were called & seated in the outdoor dining area on Bernard Street.
We started with a gigantic 3oz Big Dog Bacon Ceasar each that the pictures describe better than I can! My gf said it was THE BEST Ceasar she's ever tasted! And I certainly can't recall a better one either!
She chose the breakfast poutine while I chose the "As seen on Food Network Canada" Chicks on a Raft. Both were outstanding choices and ranked in out top 3 breakies for sure! Worth seeking out and worth the wait!

Went twice during our trip it was that good! It was busy and there was a wait but it was so worth it. Food was so delicious! Service was great! Definitely recommend! Just be prepared to wait to get in. The eggs bennies were so good The eggs were so fresh. The waffles were amazing! We will for sure be back.

This breakfast might be one of the top 5 tastiest breakfasts I had in BC.
The waiting line is too long in the weekends. I called in advance to book a table, but no one answered, so we just had to wait for a free table for 45 minutes. It kinda worth it though.

Poor service. So many free tables. Says they don't take reservations on the website. But when we arrive there is over an hour wait and about 6 free tables. For booked groups. Go figure. DO NOT EAT HERE

Every time my bf and I come to have breakfast they tell us that it’s a 40min - 1h wait just to sit down, I assumed that it’s because of reservations as when you look around there’s usually places to sit. Then they tell us that “you can’t make reservations here” then continues to ask us if we want to be put on a list a long with other people who are waiting.that’s a reservation lol. Maybe one day we will get to try, definitely not a walk in restaurant!

The cutest little location for breakfast on the patio! Close to the water so you get a nice refreshing breeze will you sip your coffee and enjoy the view. Their food is to die for and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will most definitely be going back!

Consistently a great place for breakfast and lunch. Creative menu, beautifully presented with a focus on fresh and local. Fun atmosphere and the staff are friendly and efficient. Great covid protocols in place too.

Honestly incredible. I had the Benny (with a side of rosemary sausage because of the reviews here) and wife had a skillet of sort, hers was hearty and much too large of a portion for her. Mine was clearly home made hollandaise and likely one of the best Benny's I've had (my first choice at breakfast diners).

From out of town, and decided to stop by since there was a long wait time at our first choice. Was not disappointed, the food was amazing (ordered the waffle with fresh berries and mascapone along with the salmon benny) ; but beyond that the kitchen staff was super helpful in recommending me with certain dishes (even though she was super busy!).

Sunny's has the whole cool factor going on but he real thing about Sunny's is that the food flavors have been carefully and wonderfully choreographed. Each bite brings a parade of glorious flavors and textures. Yes, textures. Crispy here and there, soft in just the right places. Ingredients are fresh. Portions are good. Service is professional and prompt.
This is no ordinary menu. You will be impressed.

Bro, the beach was too hot, so I rolled into this spot, they gave me beer and these epic french toast with cheese and a poached egg on top. O it was so buttery and mapled and this beer is called dinosaur. You already, instictually, know by now if this is your best spot ever. Nothing else need be said. Love it!

This place is not geared to cope with COVID-19 restrictions and regulations. Packed and over crowded. Not geared for take-away orders - we were sent outside and stood waiting to order and ended up leaving.

Service was very slow. There was a couple that came after us had a 20 min wait to get seated and got served before us. Not sure if our waitress was busy, but sitting at our table with no water for 20 min is not acceptable. All in all the food was OK. Nothing special.

Had a great breakfast here at Sunny's. Great drinks and awesome food. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating to our allergies too. They make it so easy too for leaving a name and not having to wait around until it's our turn so we just went for a walk down Bernard till our table was ready. Definitely will be back!

Food passable but secondary BECAUSE they have a long way to go before they are safe enough for us to return. Chaos! NO masks on any diners, people pushing, elbowing close, very close contact. The restaurant allowed it and had no marked spots nor did they ask anyone to move back, away or out! The germs go marching on.

Staff are very accommodating, love the atmosphere (blend of modern and traditional), and terrific menu. I think it's great how you can see the Cook's preparing the food in front of you. Highly recommended.

I loved this restaurant! It was a bit of a wait but so worth it! It looks like a little hole in the wall but the food was so delicious! We cleaned our plates, which we rarely do. I had the breakfast poutine and it was perfectly prepared with the most yummy hollandaise I’ve ever tasted. It’s truly a gem of a restaurant, I only wish they were open every day and for longer.
