Working with Sunny's Bridal was one of the highlights of my entire wedding planning experience. I was originally directed towards Sunny's through a family member who works in the industry. From my very first browse through the store to my final fitting, every interaction with them was exceptional. I felt like I was working with family.

For my wedding outfit, I came in with a fairly specific vision, but I didn't instantly connect with any of their outfits in store (though they were all beautiful). Arjun and his team stepped in and were very attentive to what I was looking for. They helped pull a few pieces that had elements from my inspo pictures, and from there we made customizations to ensure my entire vision was incorporated into the final design. With Arjun's creativity and a lot of trust on my part, I completely customized the colors and design of the original outfit. Not only did my final piece arrive on time, but it was the outfit of my dreams! It felt unique to me and represented my personality and style.

My reception outfit was a similar experience. Arjun's creativity came through and I was ultimately so happy with the final result! I cannot say enough good things about their customer service. I knew I was in good hands from the very beginning and truly enjoyed working with each and every one of the staff. For the first time, I went to Sunny's Bridal to shop for my upcoming wedding in June & the entire team especially Arjun went above and beyond in helping me to create my dream reception outfit - being it the colour, style etc. The outfit turned out beautiful and perfect fitting. I would definitely recommend to all Brides to shop at Sunny's Bridal. They are extremely helpful and kind. It was helpful for the team as well to bring in Inspo pictures of what you are looking for.

I am from Calgary and I started my wedding shopping journey in July, 2022. I went to several shops in Calgary, Toronto and Surrey looking for the best prices and someone to create my custom wedding and reception outfits. Although, most places told me that they can create my wedding outfits within the budget, no one else had the phenomenal customer service as Arjun and his team. They were attentive, kind, respectful, and the only ones who made me feel confident about my choices. I just went to Sunny's Bridal two weeks ago to pick up my outfits, and I was left speechless. The outfits were exactly what I imagined and more; from the color, to the embroidery, to the fitting.absolutely perfect! Thank you for starting my wedding planning in such a positive way. I highly recommend Sunny's Bridal for future brides/grooms for not only the beautiful outfits, but the incredible customer service! <3

My sister went into sunnys bridal excited to purchase her engagement outfit. The piece needed some alterations so she left it at there store and did not go home with it. They informed her that they would give her a call in a couple days to pick it up. Two weeks went by so she decided to follow up. They told her she can come pick it up after she reached out. She went in to pick it up and the blouse had a distinct BO smell coming from it which was obviously not present on the day she purchased it. The blouse never went home with us so we are unsure where they odour came from. She came home upset and informed us. I told her to call and let them know. She felt nervous to do so as she felt the staff is intimidating. She followed up with the owner who simply denied that it could be their fault. I called the next day as this is clearly very unfair. No one pays nearly $4000 for an outfit only for it to have that kind of odour coming from it. When I spoke to them they said they will dry clean the blouse, however they also had mentioned to my sister that they do not dry clean their heavy outfits as it can wreck the embroidery. This blouse is fully embroidered with jewels and stones as well. So my sister did not feel comfortable doing this. We asked what the solution would be for this and they said they can order us a new outfit however we have to pay the 10% charge if we want it. So basically as a customer we paid over three thousand dollars for an outfit that smelt fine day 1, carried an odour upon pick up day, and now it’s our responsibility to pay additional money to fix this issue. I definitely expected them to handle this situation a lot better given there years in this industry. Very disappointing experience.

From the moment I walked inside the entire team was quick to help me and understand my vision. I am greatly appreciative of how kind, helpful and patient the entire team was. Moreover, everyone gave me the space to share my ideas and helped me create my dream reception outfit. Also, they even delivered my reception outfit a month before their estimated delivery date. I am very happy with my experience as they so hard worked to give me my princess moment.

I got married recently in August and I have nothing but good things to say about Sunny’s. I initially went into the store in early 2021 for my wedding that was supposed to be in July 2021 but got postponed to 2022. From the minute I walked into the store I felt so welcomed and taken care of. The customer service was amazing, Arjan gave me great advice and tips about everything wedding related! My outfit arrived months before my wedding just the way I wanted it! My blouse required minor alterations. The alterations were completed within a couple of days as promised. Thank you to the Sunny’s Bridal team for an amazing experience!

From the first time we stepped in to Sunny’s Bridal we were all blown away by their “hospitality and professionalism”. However their delivery was beyond terrible.
We custom ordered my husbands wedding day outfit 4 months in advanced with the hopes of having everything executed the way that was planned and promised by Sunny’s Bridal team. Their lack of communication when the outfit came in was the least of our worries. Me, as the bride made many attempts in calling and contacting their team to see if the entire outfit was in. Days before our wedding I was reassured by them to not call anymore and to stop worrying because “ everything will be okay and I have other things to stress over”. So I did.
The day before our wedding I was told the palla had not arrived and that it would be in on Friday… which was after our wedding. When speaking to the owner she said “these things happen”. They didn’t even try to fix the issue, and instead blamed us and lied to us saying they had called when they never did.
The owners talk a huge game when asking for full payment right away but have nothing to say when they don’t follow through.
Don’t waste your time or money with this business…completely unprofessional and dismissive.

Sunny’s Bridal is our go to place. All the girls (8 of us) in the family got their wedding outfits from them. We never went anywhere else because we knew we will find “the outfit” at Sunny’s Bridal and of course the best service as well we absolutely love aunty ji

I got my bridal lengha from Sunny's and it was perfect! Arjun, his mom and all the staff are so lovely to deal with. Best customer service, they are so nice and genuinely care. Arjun took my vision and elevated what I thought was possible. I have never felt so beautiful. I highly recommend Sunny's for any event!

Arjun and the team did an amazing job making my wedding lengha so beautiful! I cannot thank them enough for making the whole process so easy and stress free for me. The minute my sisters and I came into the store for the first very first time we felt so welcomed and the customer service was amazing. The team met each time line that was provided for when the outfit will be ready to every alteration that was needed. Also, the team took in last minute alternations for my lengha a day before my wedding which was such short notice for them. I highly recommend Sunny's for all brides and I will be a returning customer!

It takes a lot of trust to give someone control over wedding dresses and we learned the hard way that Sunny's Bridal do not deserve the trust of couples looking for their wedding outfits. I encourage anyone to look at Sunny’s Yelp page for other reviews that are not included here as well.

I purchased 2 wedding dresses in Feb 2020 for a Sept wedding that was postponed due to COVID. On the day of our visit just before the pandemic shut everything down, we took great care to match our color swatches around a personal item I brought to the store. My partner and I explained that we wanted 2 dresses in jewel tones of the darkest colors of eggplant and deep teal - matched precisely to our personal item. This is reflected in our receipt with the words "deep" before each color and the records we have regarding the exact swatches we selected. Last week, 15 months after our store visit and order, the store shipped what we thought would be our dresses but they’re in entirely wrong colors - one arrived in a bright green and another in a bright purple. Unlike another review here, they did not provide any communication regarding the manufacturing of these dresses and we were left entirely in the dark. Perhaps we received a different standard of service because of who we choose to love.

We contacted the owner to alert them of the error, as we are unable to travel to Canada with the border closed. The owner said that “slight color variations are possible” when dealing with different fabrics- which we understand - but the swatches we picked out clearly do not match the dresses and it's not a color variation - it's the wrong color (we have photos to show it comparing the swatches to the dresses). It’s the difference between summer attire that we received and fall attire that we purchased. It's not a small deal - our entire color palette for the wedding is planned around the fall-themed swatches we picked out, not the bright gaudy colors we got.

Sunny's asked for and received full payment up front and now deny their mistake in providing dresses in the wrong color, failed to communicate that they even had anything to ship us until 15 months later, and attempted to gas light us that this is a “slight color variation” and encourage us to be happy with the colors they chose for us instead. We believe that COVID may have impacted their operations and fabric selection and they chose to make an executive decision to replace our wedding colors without consulting us. When we're talking about a couple's wedding day, do you want your wedding colors to be dictated unilaterallly by the whims of the aunty who runs this store? For the thousands of dollars I spent, I personally do not.

On top of it all, one of the dupattas has the sequins GLUED on the entire dupatta, so many of them came off when we took them out of the bag to look at them. I've worn MANY Indian dresses over my life and you can tell easily the feel of quality and while any sequins falling off is somewhat normal, certainly not the volume we experienced with such little physical touch to the dress. So even if we did wear them, at least one is of very poor quality given the price point and their claim to be “high end. ”

The owner talks a good game with confidence but we saw the cracks after we handed over our money. Ultimately I experienced this as a bait and switch on the colors the owner decided on, not what we chose and have documented.

Couldn’t have had a better experience! Got treated wonderfully every time. Arjun and his family and crew are so awesome. They listen, help and really make you feel wanted. I’m so happy with my dress. I love it so much I’d want to wear it every single day! But I know I shouldn’t do that lol

I don’t know if I have the words to describe how your expertise, patience and compassion made our vision come to life. These were not just clothes we wore. These outfits basically embodied the theme for our whole wedding.

Every detail was impeccably illustrated. The endless emails and phone calls during the fabrication of our garments made me feel so taken care of. I knew from the start I was in good hands. I have purchased clothes from Sunnys bridal before but this experience was a cut above the rest. From my first 2 hour consultation where I choose my fabrics, colors and complementing materials for my husbands outfit down to the day I walked up those stairs and saw my beautiful wedding lengha hung like a show piece. My whole family had tears.the beauty and the love behind my lengha was felt through out the room.

I had been to multiple shops in the payal business centre in search for my wedding outfits. After failing to find something unique and different in the shops there, I decided to make a trip to Sunny's Bridal. I had never been here before but had heard many good things about them so I decided to give their store a try. As soon as my family and I walked in, we were greeted by the owner Arjun. Arjun was the most outgoing person I had come across who made us feel as if we had known him from before. Compared to any other shops that I had visited, Sunny's Bridal had the most different looking pieces! I somewhat had something in mind already and knew Sunny's Bridal could nail this look, especially based off of what they already had in store. I was able to try on an outfit which was a colour similar to what I wanted as Arjun and his team knew I was uncertain how it would look on me. They took both my ideas into consideration and also gave their own opinions which was super helpful as they knew better what would look great. They were able to create the exact piece that I had in mind! Even after 3 months now, I am still receiving compliments on my outfit and that is all thanks to Sunny's Bridal Team. They were able to give great customer service and I would not hesitate to go back for future events!

I recently had a mixed wedding (Sikh & Western) and my husband is the Sikh side so I was navigating the styling of an Indian bridal party with relatively no experience just a lot of research and Pinterest inspiration.
We visited Surrey a couple of times and many different bridal stores. From the minute we walked into Sunny's it was a completely different experience.
Arjun made me feel comfortable instantly and within a couple of minutes of asking what I liked and was interested in he had pulled out the exact outfits and we had customized it to my own liking, colours, and then moved onto my bridesmaids dresses.
He worked with me to design exactly the bridal party look I had pictured while providing his own feedback, experience, and advice and I couldn't be more happy to have trusted him the whole way.
He even helped all of us how to sit and stand properly in our outfits.
We matched my husbands outfit and Arjun took into consideration little detailing on his outfit to match mine. For the groomsmen outfits I let Arjun pick the colour and style based on his experience and everything worked so well together.

I recently purchased multiple outfits from Sunny's Bridal Gallery for both my own wedding and my brother's wedding. I am from Victoria and previously went to 4 or 5 other bridal stores in Surrey. I found the bridal outfits at other stores were very similar.

The gallery at Sunny's is super beautiful and provides for individualized attention. The outfits are truly unique and beautifully designed. You can tell they pay attention to even the smallest details. I found both my wedding and reception outfits within five minutes of walking around the gallery and trusted their opinion when looking for my husband's outfit. The service my family received was also amazing and we found the outfits very fairly priced. We are so happy we went with Sunny's and received so many compliments on our outfits!

The first time I went there they asked if I had an appointment (which I didn't) so they didn't have any interest in helping me without an appointment. I scanned the showroom and left because I felt uncomfortable. I went back recently to give them another chance and when I found something I was interested in for my reception the sales associate suggested I just hold it up to myself instead of trying it on because it could get damaged. How are you supposed to know how something looks on yourself without trying it on? I found that extremely odd. They have nice designs, but a very odd sales philosophy.

After horrendous experiences at crossover Bollywood and the no-talent Well-Grooomed, I was able to find a gorgeous, well-priced, one -of-a kind outfit for my sister for her wedding here. The staff was helpful and didn't gauge me or take advantage of me due to being male. They made all necessary alterations quickly and efficiently. There's a reason why they've been in business for decades. I was so pleased that I ended up buying other outfits here as well, and even took bought my buddy his engagement outfit here, too, simply because I knew we would get something stylish, of good quality, and reasonably priced. No point in wasting time and energy with low brow desi shops.
