Sunnyside Park

Lots of fun and different equipment here. Sadly our issue was both times we took small children, there were groups of I’d guess 15 year old boys on the equipment shoving each other around and being very loud, swearing etc. Honestly it was dangerous for little ones as there was a huge size difference. I had to catch a very little girl (thankfully I saw her fall) as she was (accidentally) pushed off the slide by the big boys messing around. I’d suggest going elsewhere if your kids are small.

Pretty good park, lots of room for animals to run off leash, great spot for taking pictures, has a small little park for your children, parking is also easy to get to

Excellent pool and two outdoor playgrounds. There are also trails and lots of outdoor running space for kids. This park has lots to offer: tennis, baseball, and lots of parking.

Pool is open to public and life guards did an amazing job following Covid 19 process to the visitors.

Great Park, gets very busy in the summer with the Girls Softball City and the free swimming pool and swim clubs.

A lovely park that only continues to improve over the past 20 years. From the multiple era playgrounds with diverse physical challenges and classic equipment, through the free swimming pool, to the well maintained athletic fields, Sunnyside Park delivers something for everyone but is particularly great for families with young children. 5/5
