Sunrise in Victoria does not feel institutional, but rather, homey, bright, relaxed, cozy and fun. The pace is slow and the staff friendly and caring. After 20 months there, my mother passed away after a brief illness, safe and cozy and comfortable in her room. The attentiveness of the nursing and caretaking staff was wonderful. Her environment was kept quiet and everything was done to make things easier for the family.

The owners of Sunrise of Victoria should fire Magdalene, their HR person.
She is not approachable and intimidating to the staff. Her tone is loud and her thick accent is hard to understand. They need someone who can connect well with their staff and the public. Someone with good rapport.

Beautiful surroundings, caring and attentive staff, excellent range of activities and fantastic customer service. I know that my father will receive exceptional care as he enjoys this beautiful community.

My clients are all Seniors so I see the inside of a lot of seniors residences.
The managers here are very professional with attention to details. Diligent screening and attention to protocols are in full effect.
The staff has very little turnover and are especially helpful.
Very secure access tells me how dedicated they are for their clients safety, yet it resembles a boutique hotel in action, and we always read the menus and events in the elevators. Their rooms have a nice variety of floor plans too.
I’m also impressed with their memory care staff. They are so patient and you can tell that they enjoy their very demanding work. Somehow it’s like a symphony of teamwork.
Victoria is lucky to have so many great properties for seniors.
From what I see and know,
Sunrise of Victoria is one of the finest run seniors residences anywhere.

I really enjoy my job as a Social Greeter at Sunrise Senior Living of Victoria. The guests and families are wonderful, and the staff is incredibly compassionate and dedicated to providing top-notch care. I feel lucky to be a part of such a warm and welcoming workplace.
