Sunrise Village Dental Centre

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while and now that I’m leaving the area it is time.

I went to this dental clinic for a couple years. Then when I needed to have my crowned teeth removed due to infection they instead turned me down and treated me like I didn’t know what was going on. They suggest internal bleaching of my crowns and a wash to treat the infection.
It was very ignorant of them. As I pushed for removal they said the teeth are perfectly, but they were not. The receptionist even came out to tell me in the waiting room, as I sat there embarrassed and said “it’s probably a problem with your blood”. After that I did more research and found a holistic dentist office, who removed my crowns and said there was green/grey infection in bottom that was probably there many years. Finally validation. Some health issues have cleared up since then, as infected root canals are bad for your health.

I do not recommend this clinic. Be the expert in your own health and don’t let others patronize you.

My first visit to this dentist, and it was very pleasant. Friendly staff at the front desk and my hygienist was great. If you live in the Hastings sunrise area and need a dentist you should check them out

Sunrise Dental Centre on Hastings is amazing! I want to give a special shout out to Tiffany Le as she is just exceptional and an absolutely lovely lady. Every time I walk in the door, she has a smile on her face and I can just tell she's a competent staff for the team. A huge asset for this dental clinic.

I come here to clean my teeth every 6 months and I highly recommend this dental office for locals and folks in the lower mainland.

I was asked by the front desk if I would move my already made appointment from 1: 30 to 12: 30 to accommodate for another patient, I said okay - the front desk did not advise me that I’d have to wait 45 mins after my cleaning to get my fillings done, instead it was my fault because I came 10 mins early for my already moved appointment. Common courtesy and having the knowledge/ability to move both appointments or at least tell the patient prior to moving appointments around of a wait time between cleaning and treatment would have been helpful to me the patient and to the business.

But the dentists that work here are the best in the business and are very well mannered thus I will be coming back it’s unfortunate I booked this day off and have to book another day off now because of something that was over looked, because of negligence via front desk.

Wonderful experience visiting there. Staff is so friendly. Amazing experience with the quick & efficient service of the staff, especially Maddie at front desk who dealed with us. She is so polite and made my son so comfortable who was little anxious for his dental treatment. Dr Tarun Das takes to go over everything and is very good in explaining the treatment plan

Visited Sunrise Village Dental Centre for my kids. It was wonderful experience. Staff is amazing.polite and cooperative.and taking care of patient's waiting and clinic hygiene. Maddie, at the reception is so polite and cooperative. She explained us my son's treatment in very simple way.and Dr Tarun Das, Orthodontist who examined my son is a gentleman and great dentist.
Highly recommended for everyone.

I can’t express my appreciation to Dr. Tan and Tiffany. They went above and beyond by working until 8: 30pm to address my dental needs, with consistently warm care. The entire treatment was professional and painless. I’ve recommended this clinic to my friends!

I just wanted to thank the amazing staff - today our 10 yr old had a tooth pulled and as we were leaving, she realized that she hadn't been given her tooth.for the tooth fairy! Yep. We have a younger son and so we’ve kept the tooth fairy up for both of them.
The staff were amazing at going back to look for it, and to make sure it was packaged up just perfectly without giving anything up about the tooth fairy.
It's her very last baby tooth, and not long before the jig is up! So just a little extra special. The magic lives on!

The best experience I ever had at a dentist visit! 1st they listen to what I wanted to get done 2nd they did it! All in one day! These guys are AWESOME! From the receptionist all the way to the dentist! All pros! Dr. Jenny took her time to explain in details and gave me all possible scenarios and made me understand all the risks yet she did it my way! Thank you all

This is a great dental place. Dr Karen Nguyen is very kind and provides very great explanations when you ask questions. I am very happy with my teeth that I had done.

Just got my teeth cleaned at sunrise dental and no complaints at all Dr. Karen explains fully what needs to be done and the friendly and awesome receptionist Abi explained everything clearly and booked my next appointment accordingly! I would definitely refer sunrise to all my friends and family.

Came here to get my wisdom teeth removed. Maddie and Tiffany were very friendly and staff were comforting.

Used to be a fine dental clinic. The last time I visited the service was gradually worsening (new receptionist), and the teeth cleaning made the gums hurt a lot, as if the dentists worsened the pain by not operating properly. I have since cancelled all future appointments, and I highly recommend going to somewhere else.

We had a great experience at Sunrise today! My little one was met with warm smiles and she actually had fun at the dentist!
