Super 8 by Wyndham Fort St. John BC

I had a room with 2 double beds. It also had a sink aside from the bathroom which is nice.

I've also stayed in kitchenette rooms before and they were top notch.

I have always enjoyed my stay at the Super 8 and recommend to my family and friends! Staff is accommodating and friendly with reasonable rates!

Front desk staff is super friendly and helpful, rooms are clean. Breakfast is pretty good too!

The desk clerks were very friendly upon check-in & check-out.
We had a pet friendly room, no carpeting.
Coin operated self service laundry right down the hall.
Comfortable beds & the room was quiet.
Quick access to Walmart through the parking lot.
Everything we needed for our 2 night stay was right there close at hand.

We arrived late, after supper in Mr Mike. We decided to spend a night in this hotel for a night. We choose the room which has access to the parking. We paid $180 to get 2 pillows and no parking spot as promised (front room parking is occupied by another - as you can see on the pic), so we park our truck, far in regular spots. The room is so decent as well for this price - no cord we can use for the laptop nor the cellphones on the table provided. The avail cord in the bottom of the left bed and beside the microwave. Sorry, next time, we prefer to stay in another hotel. Not recommended at all

Nice rooms. Location is close to Walmart, restaurants and services.

Negative - only clean rooms once a week.

Great room. Used our Wyndham rewards points for a free stay. The breakfast is great and saves having to pay money at a restaurant. The pool is a highlight for the kids.

Great breakfast. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, toast, fruits and yogurts were available. Front desk staff helpful and courteous.

Excellent hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Super 8 Fort St. John. Our room was clean and well stocked, all common areas were thoroughly sanitized & all the staff were excellent. The complimentary breakfast was great & check in & check out were easy. Highly recommend!

A group of us 5 in total had a blast at the pool. We have so enjoyed bringing the kiddos out to do at least something during this winter. Everybody has a jolly time!

Called ahead to see if they had hot tub, went and bought swim trunks, when I checked in I asked again to make sure the hot tub was working, they said yes- when I got to the hot tub it was broken. Complained and was told I can leave so I checked out and went to Howard Johnson, room just as nice and staff was super friendly and helpful. I recommend the HoJo

I came for the night, to get out of the bunk in my truck for a warm shower and a hot breakfast.
My room has a large crack in the fibreglass shower floor.
And
No breakfast, as the hotel still refuses to recognize my rights and freedoms as outlined in the charter. They treat me like a second class citizen.
Sorry doesn’t cut it. Officially on the boycott list

Rooms and service are tops, Location relative to grocery stores and restaurants makes it 5 star for me. Oh and also liquor stores.

Great pool with waterslide and hot tub. Beds excellent. Little dated, but staff quite friendly. Would stay again.

I stay here for work lots over the years and have always had a great stay.nice clean rooms and friendly staff, if I was in fsj for a trip that was not for work I'd stay here.

Nice hotel, comfortable bed, uncomfortable pillows (bring your own). Manager's reception a nice touch. I didn't partake-meat only. This gal likes a few veggies with her meat. Breakfast pretty much what you get every where else.

Was great. Rooms had mini kitchens safes and alarm clocks. The pool was great until it got crowded. The breakfast was alright but the bread items were dry and eggs were hard but the waffles assuage bacon and milk were good.

Over priced, low amenity, noisy water pipes, noisy heater, was woken by house keeping on the floor above me dropping stuff and stomping around at 7 AM. Bed was comfortable outside noise was minimal. Hallways and elevators were clean lobby was clean, parking lot was in serious need of cleaning!

Excellent front desk staff, clean rooms, very good continental breakfast. Nice pool and self serve laundry machines.

The stay was good, free breakfast in the morning and they also gave 10 % off at the restaurant directly beside it, only dislike was the thin blankets

As a 80 Nights a year traveler, I like this hotel for my Fort St John regular overnight stop.
Efficient front desk, they accommodate room location requests when booking. Good parking with winter plugins.
Its a busy place in the winter but everything runs well. Summer has families so early morning breakfast is less busy (always good and plentiful with a friendly "Good Morning"). Coffee is good. Sitting area to eat is bright, clean and TV's kept low with close cap.on.
Like the chooses of restaurants very close by.

Best decision ever! I traveled the AlCan with four children (ages 12-6) and the pool, waterslide, and waffle breakfast saved my sanity and theirs! It was so nice to have my water babies splash around for a few hours before turning into bed!

I stay at Super 8s pretty regularly, and this is definitely one of the nicer ones. The room was clean and modern, and the lobby felt high class for a Super 8.

Tried out the pool and hot tub, both were clean and working properly.

I would have given five stars but for two things:

1. The receptionist kept answering the phone and having lengthy conversations while checking me in. It's rude to answer the phone and have a chat when you have somebody standing right in front of you. Let alone more than once.

2. The room was missing some pretty basic things. No pen and pad, there is a coffee maker but no coffee, no cups, spoons etc. It doesn't seem like they stocked it.

I'd give it another try.
