Super 8 by Wyndham Osoyoos

Spent 2 nights here in September and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was quiet and clean. The complimentary breakfast was good with eggs, muffins, cereal and toast.
Would definitely stay again.

The room and surroundings were very clean and the service great. Easy location very close to the Osoyoos visitor center. Quiet.

Stopped for a night and had a great sleep bathrooms was bit small door almost banged the toilet when you open or closed it so you almost had to step in the tub to be out of the way otherwise very nice rooms we had a small kitchenette sink fridge and table and chairs and microwave and coffee maker. They were just opening the pool when we left, we only stayed a night driving for 12 hours, which is hard to do in one day.

Clean, quiet and comfortable room, stayed twice during road trip as we picked Osoyoos as the place to stop for the night. Good value, friendly staff and continental breakfast included. Would recommend to travellers and would stay again in future.

Phil at the front desk was super nice. Pool area is really nice. Our problem was that our room was right next to the open pool area, which was packed with yelling families playing music on portable speakers until about 10: 15 pm. We were just looking for a normal, quiet hotel experience to recharge after along day of driving and disdnot know that this hotel would be very busy and loud.

We were stranded in Osoyoos due to mechanical problems with our car. Super8 treated us well. We loved the breakfast and the pool. They made us feel welcome and appreciated in what were difficult days for us. The whole Deol family was a pleasure to deal with. Louise Campbell and Tim O'Hara

Great value for your money! Everyone who works at this hotel is so nice and accommodating! The pool is great and it is nice to have breakfast included. The staff even took time out of their day to help us with our camper, without us asking. They were so helpful and went out of their way to be kind. This is the place to stay while in Osoyoos!

Just a nice respectable hotel! Note that if you get a courtyard room, the only windows face the courtyard and that means you have to keep them shut entirely or else have people walking by looking in. All good though! Comfortable and quiet and convenient!

Poor quality and way over-priced. Even the cleaners have an "attitude" in this place. There are many better budget oriented hotels and motels in central Osoyoos.

If your coming from the west once you come into town don't follow your gps it takes you around the neighborhood. Just turn right at junction then immediate left

Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. We stayed in the new part of the hotel and were pleased with it. A little ways away from downtown and the beaches but a quick drive to get to them.

Phil and his staff are amazing! This man knows what hospitality is all about. We had been travelling for 2 weeks and called last minute for a 2 night stay. We spoke with Phil and he said he would do some juggling and fit us in. We arrived and found 2 bbq's on site for guest use. We were so excited to actually be able to make a home cooked meal however we did not have any forks, knives or plates. My husband went to ask Phil if he knew where we might get some and he loaned us some. What? Where else do they do that? We loved Osoyoos and the atmosphere at the hotel so much that my husband called the front desk from the golf course to ask if we could possibly stay one more night. We were told to please give them some time and they would see what they could do. Within 2 minutes my husband got a call from Phil telling us yes he made arrangements for us to stay and we didn't even have to change rooms. While we stayed there we mingled with a lot of the guests from the hotel by the poolside. Every one there was so impressed with Phil and his staff. Phil would even come out to the eating area near the pool and say hello to guests, pick up used towels and tidy up. Such a very personable man. We are definitely telling every one about this place and we have already made plans to go back. The main hotel could use an overhaul, it is older and well used but it is clean and comfortable and super friendly and accommodating. I wish there were more hotels like this. Thank you Phil and staff.

The evening staff member at check-in was kind, helpful, and considerate. I was well treated, comfortable in a clean room, and slept almost as well as my own bed. The morning/day staff were also just as nice and caring. Continental breakfast was varied and fresh. The price is mid-range, and on the advice from a local, was steered towards the Super 8, and I'm thankful for the advice.

I asked for their availability and the receptionist started to look for available units. She asked the owner (manager?) WHICH unit should she book us in. I travel with my certified service dog. The manager saw my dog and said they are sold out. I pointed out that they appeared to have a room 5 seconds ago. He insisted they have no room and said the receptionist was "mistaken" then said "the computer is frozen". All in all it was very clear that he denied us a room because of my service dog. I pointed this out to him and my rights under human rights with a service animal and he just dismissively said "yeah, whatever". I went outside and checked the website and it did come up with rooms available. I contemplated to book it online and go back but who even wants to go back after such shameful and humiliating experience to be treated like a second class citizen with my service companion. I will avoid this chain from now on.

A nice place to stay, pool is great, very nice area to sit out in the sun. Phil at the front desk is absolutely fantastic

Amazing place to stay with one of the friendliest staffs I have ever come across. Upon check in Phil alerted us of a better room that suited my family and our stay better and a nicer parking area in the shade. He was super pleasant and gave us a quick breakdown of the area and amenities.

The rooms themselves were comfortable though I found the washrooms a tad small and hard to navigate (I am 6ft 4 240lbs mind you) after my shower with the door closed

The pool area was clean, clear and crisp and spacious enough for me and my two children to play in with plenty of other guests in the surrounding area.
There is a beautiful view of the mountains and a Buy Low close by so you can buy food for the BBQs that are on the surrounding property. Yes there are BBQd available for you to use! One is right by the pool and outdoor eating area!?

I would highly recommend a stay here if you are coming through to Osoyoos.

Had a great time staff were terrific and the pool was very refreshing can't wait to return.

This hotel is a good choice for an extended stay. The buffet provides a good nutritious start to your day, and the attendant, Norma, is extremely helpful, cheerful, and beautiful. She's one of the few citizens left in Canada who is not afraid to dress like a woman. Bravo.

August long weekend and my husband and I found ourselves stranded last minute in Osoyoos. Phil at the front desk was empathetic to our predicament (my husband has mobility problems) he moved a few things around and was able to get us a room on the ground floor so there were no stairs. Phil checked on us later in the evening to make sure everything was going well. The included breakfast has fresh fruit, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, boiled eggs, frozen waffles, toast, bagels etc. The rooms were clean and secure. Phill at the front desk was fantastic. Location was good. The bed was to hard and people out side the room were very loud. Didn't get much sleep. But it was ok.

Rooms are below average for the price. TV's don't have any streaming services or on demand options so you're stuck with a few channels. Staff tried to charge extra as we had 4 people in the room, even though it was already paid for 4 people.

The location is great close to fast food restaurants and the main highway. The hotel is old but it is clean. As we visited during the covid pandemic I felt Super 8 did a great job providing breakfast.

Lady checking us in was very nice! However the manager or owner was extremely rude. I would never recommend staying there to anyone and I will never go back. Came banging on our door and was accusing us of stuff that was out of our control. Threatened to kick us out for nothing we did. We ended up leaving and staying at holiday inn because of how rude he was. Holiday inn is way better and polite to their guests:)

Surprisingly a very good stay at this hotel while on vacation in Osyoos. Room was very clean and staff we dealt with were very courteous and knowledgeable.

The price booked online was different than the price presented at the front desk. Very terrible experience, even though the email confirmation and online booking were provided, the company did not honor what was booked online. Waited for over a hour on the phone to have a case opened (4448509) and haven’t heard back in more than 4 days.

Very bad experience and customer service. I will never use Wydham again. Do not recommend

They are treating you very well. This place is so nice and affordable specifically nice pool, good staff and very welcoming. My daughter loved the pool

Clean room, though a bit worn. Wifi is not sufficient for hotel capacity. When I reported speed of less than 1mbps I was told, "Lots of people must be using it". Well yeah - so make sure you have enough bandwidth for the hotel! If you need wifi, try requesting a room closer to the front (office), as the signal seemed more reliable there. No breakfast or hot tub due to COVID. Nice pool and patio area, but the pool only gets sun for a few hours a day because it's surrounded by rooms.

A little over priced for a Super 8. The hotel was a little dated. Walking distance to the restaurant nearby. No breakfast included due to Covid. The lake is a 15 minute walk.

Avalible swimming pool and grill but though you sometimes are able to hear people stomping through your walls at night

Ok place with decent facilities. The pool was kinda scummy which was obviously not maintained at that time. The rest was as expected.

It was good for the money. We were at the beach most of our trip, and slept/showered at the hotel. Pros: Free parking, laundry machines ($2/wash, $2/dry), outdoor pool, tub/shower combo, ice machine, clean. Cons: dated rooms and bedding, noisy (walls not soundproof) not walking distance to beach, no free breakfast due to Covid which was not correctly advertised. Overall, I would probably stay here again.

We needed a spot just to sleep over night. For that purpose it served good enough. The site was very close to the lake and other businesses in walking distance. Parking was adjacent to the room door and some of the rooms have access to the court yard where the pool is and some do not, mine did not but not a big deal.

In general it was a great stay for your money, we paid around 100 dollars in June (Non-peak season) for a queen, the room was quite small, enough to get a queen bed in there, TV, desk and closet propped against the wall. Friendly service; i'd stay there again.

The only down side was with the room being so small the A/C was to close to the bed. You will feel the air and the noise from it.

The room had a weird smell when we came inside the first time. Bathroom are super small as well. We received a great rate during the COVID time

Experience was really good! Not more than a 2*, but clean. If you have problems with stairs this is not the place for you since there are no elevators. Breakfast was good, but not enough seating and the price was too steep for the quality. I paid $126 with taxes. It should have been no more than $65.

We stay here every time we’re in the Okanagan, nice pool good staff and clean rooms. Definitely well located for touring the wineries that are close by!

Hotel stay was OK. The carpet was kinda worn. The room was quiet and couldn't hear traffic go by. The weekend I stayed there was also a race weekend. There were a number of American muscle cars in the parking lot. There weren't too many parking spaces available. There is an outside pool which I didn't try so no comment there. Breakfast was ok.just the general continental breakfast. The clerk at check-in was friendly and nice. The bed was too soft for my taste but one night was acceptable. The suite used to have a kitchenette because the range hood is still there but no stove. There is a microwave and mini fridge.

It's ok for a kids trip when you are going to be out and about. Needs some updating, but clean. I found the mattresses too hard, but that is my opinion. Breakfast was your basic continental.
Phil was great, he provided humourous awesome service.

We stayed here in July great motel The staff were amazing. My girls enjoyed the pool so much would definitely recommend anybody going to Osoyoos to stay at the Super 8

Stayed there for 3 nights. Good motel that has a nice swimming pool. Rooms could use a bit more sound insulation because I can hear my neighbors' walking above. Breakfast is ok, though, I wish there was more hot food. Staff are very nice and the rooms are clean. There is a good sized fridge and microwave. Can you include plates and utensils, too? That would help some of us who buy takeout but bring back to the motel to eat. Thank you.

Nice place to spend a night. The room was clean but it will need some improvements (floor is noisy). The beds were comfortable. The pool is nice and big. Breakfast was good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The place is relatively quiet and close to the highway. I would say that it was worth the money paid for.
