Call at 4: 30 am because I was late to work thought it would be faster then the bus they said 5 to 10 minute wait called back at 5: 05 to see if they were still coming or had canceled was told they are still coming but there are no cabs in the area and maybe another 5 to 10 minutes transit would have been much faster had I known it was going to take more then 35 minutes

Time and time again these people will tell you there’s someone on the way and never send a car. This is the third time they’ve told me a driver is coming, I call back to see how long it will be after half an hour and they tell me they never sent anyone because they don’t have any available cars. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate, not to mention they’ve done this to me when it’s snowing.

Worst cab company ever. Just plan rude. Wouldn’t drive me and my buddy down the road. Said we had too much stuff. Untrue. Made us walk with our arms full down the road to the hotel. The guy just didn’t want to bother because it was a short distance. Asked before we even got in where we were going. I’m so offended right now. I hope you all consider what type of people you would be giving your money to. I was even going to give the driver 20 cash because I know it’s more for his trouble than anything.

Also called dispatch to inform and was rudely dismissed and hung up on. Unreal world we are living in.

Worst experience ever! I called them after I got off work about an hour ago and the customer service was very poor. The lady I was talking to was very condescending and rude. After 10 minutes or so a taxi came but it wasn’t mine, because the phone number didn’t match. He too was very rude when I asked him who he was here for. Nevertheless, he left and came back asking “DO YOU WANT TO COME IN YES OR NO” very aggressively. Of course I said no, who would go with someone that scary and aggressive. I then called back asking when my taxi was coming and the lady was again very rude. She told me she was sending it now which means she didn’t send my taxi this whole time. They need to change both their customer service workers and drivers and get less aggressive, scary and condescending ones. They don’t get to treat their customers like this, it’s not like we’re getting service for free

So, I usually have no issues with this cab company, though there have been some serious issues in the past. The call taker was courteous. My complaint is the service at large.

I called a cab for my husband, and was informed via automated text that the cab 21 would arrive at 14: 49. I let my husband, who is an amputee know, so he's not waiting around too long. My husband is waiting at the Save-On-Foods at Nordell Crossing.

At about 14: 57 I had a text from my husband and called him to find out what was going on. I found out that 2 different cabs pulled in, drove past a portion of the front of the store and drove right back out again.

Neither cab driver stopped to check to see if anyone was waiting for one of them.

I offered to call another cab company. My husband took me up on this as he's now in discomfort waiting for his cab.

At about 15: 02 I called back to Surdell Kennedy Taxi to find out what happened. I informed the call taker of what my husband relayed to me; two cabs and no pick-ups

The call taker told me there were two cabs sitting outside the Save-on-Foods. I'd said okay, I'd tell my husband (or something to that effect). The call taker said he would call the cabbie and find out what happened. I inform the call taker that I had already called another cab company. The call taker asked for my husband's phone number, which I gave him, and the call ended.

I then called my husband back to let him know that another cab was on it's way and would be there soon and that there were two cabs waiting outside the Save-On-Foods. Well, I quickly found out that l was blatantly lied to.

My husband told me there was one cab parked up at the Tim Horton's.

While I was on the phone to my husband, letting him know about the second cab, Cab No. 71 showed up followed immediately by the alternate cab I'd called.

By now it's about 15: 11. My husband has been on his feet for about 30 minutes and is in pain.

I did receive an automated text from the other cab company with the arrival time of 5: 10. By 15: 11 my husband was in the alternate cab.

The interesting thing in this is that both cab 71 and the alternate cab both left the Walmart at Strawberry Hill at the same time.

When Cab 71 did show up, the driver was exceedingly rude demanding my husband get in. Well, no. Not with attitude like that as this calls in the driver's fitness to drive.

This is not the first time we've had serious issues with this company and will not likely be using this taxi service again.

There is an update to this review:

As I mentioned, my husband is an amputee. I should also mention he has a very high pain tolerance What would be a 10 for the average person is like a 6 for him.

Due to my husband standing and waiting for a cab, his knee became swollen to the point that he could not touch it. Nor could he walk on his prosthetic with out extreme pain, for context he did attempt this twice.

The second attempt was bad enough that his eyes were watering for a good 20 minutes. This for him is not normal.

The following day, my husband could not walk. As a direct result of this, for the first time since his amputation, was depressed.

I am just thankful this did not happen to an older person (my husband is in his mid 50's).

The driver tried to turn the machine off and charge me 35$

He said it would save me money

I said no, turn that machine back on,

Final cost of drive would of been only 20$

He tried to scam me

So far I’ve had good experiences with Surdell Taxi, only one incident, but it was only a comment from a driver who I’m guessing was just having a off day (doesn’t make it right but we’re all human so Im trying not to judge)

so I’m not going to discredit the company based on one unwarranted comment by a driver.

So I give them 4/5 stars for quickness and generally over all kindness and respect from the drivers and dispatchers.the drivers I get are always nice and fun to chat with during the ride, I’ve had some very caring drivers take me home late at night after work. I appreciate them for the job they’re doing.

The drivers don't know how to drive, step on the gas then the brake. Got very car sick. Never take this taxi again.

Had fare share of problems some cabbies have attitude some don't some try to push I around and alot of times when I call there isn't an SUV or van so we have to wait and I was told at night alot of cabbies don't want to get us so it takes longer for us to get a cab isn't it that ICBC accts are first

Called a taxi and after a half hour i called them back to see where they were and they cancelled on me without telling me. Going to be late for work now.

Terrible service called in book and booked a taxi waited out here for 2 hours in the rain and still never got a ride. I will never use their services again or recommend them. Seen camp drive by with nobody in them and they drove right back. Nobody stopped

Some drivers drive scarier that others. But they always get me where I'm going, and arrive in a timely manner

I was really sick last week and needed to go to ER to Surrey Memorial Hospital immediately. I called around 9: 30pm but the wait time for taxi was 20-30 mins. Decided to take uber instead because it’s cheaper and faster too.

Cab #Sk151 was the worst human I’ve ever met. He left one of our immobile clients outside and left. He was hired through handydart and left the poor guy outside and did not didn’t even offer to help him through the door and watched him struggle.
