I was in urgent need of vigabatrin, a prescription medication, for my daughter, and the owner, who just happened to be in after hours, was kind enough to take time to get me a same-day prescription and waiting for me to get there from East Van. Much obliged.

The Dr was pleasant and prompt with calling time. She asked several questions, to ensure she had all the necessary info, before proceeding with a prescription.

This pharmacy is a place where you find comfort, detail explanation of nutrients and medicine. Bob the owner is highly skilled in immunology and compounding pharmacy, as well as, he is collaborating with wellness centres, medical scientists and is up to date with modalities and treatments. I highly recommend this place if you need your questions answered and you feel lost and or nobody seems to help you with your pains, or health concerns.

It was my first time at this pharmacy a few months ago and I was going through a very stressful time, trying to find treatment for symptoms that were (still are) undiagnosed by specialists. I came to pick up a prescription and became overwhelmed and in tears. Bob was so kind and immediately offered me a seat, water, tissues, and some comforting words. It wasn't a small gesture to me, and definitely one that I'll never forget.
Everyone there is great with communicating via phone for pick ups/confirming prescription details if they seem incorrect, and ensuring you don't spend time waiting too long. I would highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone who is looking for an empathetic, extremely knowledgeable and educated staff who have a genuine interest in your well being:)

Surlang is the type of neighborhood pharmacy you want to include as part of your community health-care team! Pharmacist & Compounding Specialist (+ more), ‘Bob’ Sangha, is AMAZING & always goes above & beyond to help you - whether it’s filling your order (even when you arrive after they’ve already closed early on NY Eve!), or spending time to provide education & explain something (he’s super knowledgeable & you can tell he loves to share that information with his patients), Bob’s ‘the’ guy! Every time I’ve bern there I’ve noticed that he knows his regulars by name or face & always greets with a hi/chit chat (it’s like the “Cheers” of pharmacies, ha!). It was my doctor who got me onto Bob not too long ago (they went to school together) & I just wish he’d done it sooner! I % recommend Bob & his great, strong team at Surlang for your prescription, compounding, & supplement needs!

I’ve been going to Surlang for the past 2 years, ever since I needed a pharmacy that could do compound medications near me. This review is long overdue. We have recommended Surlang Pharmacy for all our compounding prescriptions. They are very knowledgeable and very patient. First I will say I am appreciative for getting meds to my children. However this place is EXTREMELY unprofessional. The pharmacy assistant was literally yelling and ordering the pharmacy students around. Telling them they are doing things wrong and getting upset instead of helping and teaching the poor student. And he was very unprofessional when talking to clients/patients was literally swearing while talking to people. Never in my life have I ever experienced this service in a pharmacy. Will never go back there again.

Was able to get medication for our infant so didn't have to run around or cross the border just to look for it. Staff is very helpful!

I switched from Shoppers to Surlang because they were the closest compounding pharmacy near me to do a special order medication, but I've stayed and switched over my other meds as well because the client service is out of this world. I feel like they know more about me than my doctors and really care about making sure I'm taking my medication safely and responsibly. 10/10 I hope I never move away because I want to stay with them forever.

I started using Surlang Pharmacy a few years back and have found them to be extremely helpful. Bob and his staff are very knowledgeable and even make suggestion on trying a different medicine. I am just amazed to find a pharmacy that doesn’t just fill your prescription, but also really care about your over all health. On my very first visit they actually asked how are you doing, and through my conversation with Bob he recommended a digestzyme-v because I was having a lot of heart burn and he said to give it a try. A few days later I noticed there was a substantial reduction in my acid and I just felt better over all. So next time I will ask the pharmacist for a natural alternative before going to the doctor for a prescription. Thanks for caring about your customers.

Would give less starts if possible. They are selling 2oz bottles of inhouse made sanitizer for $8 bottle. When I declined they tried to get me to buy it by reminding me no one else has it. Ridiculous.

This pharmacy offers excellent patient care and is able to refill complex prescriptions that many other pharmacies can't. They're quick, efficient, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work.

Bob and the team at Surlang Pharmacy go above and beyond. Unbeatable service from start to finish. My family and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The staff is very nice and helpful. They seem to care. The only thing is that I was able to find the same medication at a different pharmacy for $40 cheaper.
