WORST EXPERIENCE WITH SURREY GEEKS, due to very unprofessional approach of their staff. Kept my laptop for more than 1.5 months and returned without any repair. Even they didn't bother to update me. I received call when I did follow ups.

I have shown them all the Diagnostic reports but still they charged me $55 in the name of diagnosis.

As per you following reply to my review I am not satisfy at all about your misleading story. Firstly, nobody updated me about my under repair laptop, secondly, since you told me that you are unable to arrange the part and that also when I contacted you.

Apart from it, since I myself a computer engineer with 25 years experience in computer hardware and networking. I made your person to understand the issue by showing him diagnostic reports. But he told me to pay first then they will start working on it. Then I paid him the asked fee of $55 as he ensured me that yes we will definitely resolve the issue in any way within a week.

Dear Sir, $55 is nothing for me and nothing for you i know. But it is the trust and truthfulness.

Anyways, you keep the money with you please. I don't need it but I request you to never spoil somebody's valuable time and energy.

My laptop stopped working when I installed a new battery - I saw a blue spark and thought I'd ruined it. I shipped it down to these guys from Kelowna and they said it was working just fine - must have been some sort of overheat protection or something. They could have milked me for a new motherboard but only charged a diagnostic fee and mailed it back to me. It's working fine and dandy. Happy with their honesty and timely responses.

They were incredibly helpful with fixing my laptop. Manveer was very nice and helped me understand everything that they fixed. Very efficient and highly recommend them! Great service!

Sent my corrupted sd card in to recover and the Surrey Geeks managed to recover it all. It was an easy and cost effective solution and I will be returning here for any future digital recovery jobs. Thank you to the technician Dawood who oversaw the recovery.

Dropped off my MacBook Pro as it had water damage. I took it to Apple and they told me it would be a $1500 repair and I would lose all my files. Tried calling a few repair shops and we were told it was hopeless to recover the lost files. Ultimately we were told that that we’d have to buy a new MacBook. I called Surrey Geeks and they told me that they’d like to take a look at it and try diagnosing it. They were quick and prompt on the phone. I dropped it off and they told me they’re going to try cleaning it and getting back to working order without any repair.

During the time they had the laptop, they were polite and gave me progress updates. I was happy to learn that they were able to get it back to working order for a reasonable price without any replacement of parts. Manveer was the gentlemen that helped me. Very impressed overall with experience with Surrey Geek and would recommend.

I was having issues with my pc running very slowly so I called Surrey Geeks and they arranged for a technician to come by the same day. The technician arrived at the time that he was scheduled and quickly diagnosed the issue. They had to take my computer back to the shop to repair. The repairs were completed within one day and the technician returned and set up my computer for me. Everyone was very helpful and overall I was very happy with the service provided.

Excellent experience. Clear and responsive. Manveer was the tech who handled my computer. Got to the root of the problem, performed all the fixes and had my computer working and back to me promptly. Friendly and helpful I definitely recommend this company. I've used Geek Squad in the past and Surrey Geeks are much much better than them, and way more reasonable with pricing.

The Geeks serviced my computer in a timely manner after my hard drive failed. Replaced with SSD Drive. Fair price and quick turnover- highly recommend.

Good service. Most importantly they are very honest. If they can't fix something they'll just tell you the same. Don't fleece you by making repairs that won't work for you.

I reached out to Surrey Geeks through emails to replace my SSD for my 2015 iMac. They replied mentioning that they can do the job and ask for the serial number (Apple Serial numbers can be used to look up the specs).   After providing the S/N I got two price quotes  (1TB, 512MB) SSD. Quotes provided very appealing  (I knew this repair is not easy), and to make sure we exchanged a few more emails. Afterward,  I decided to take my iMac to them.

After I went there, they completely changed their tune. "No way that we can do for that price", "We need to open and see", "We may not be able to repair it", "talk to the technician given you the quote". At that time there were two people and this was from the lead tech or the owner of the shop, rude and not apologetic at all.

The person who gave me the quote was not in and they were able to call him and the secretary. Now they have changed the wording to "we have given you the price only for the parts". From the start, I was asking them to replace the SSD, not the parts. If I need only parts there are many other places like Amazon, Why would I go to a strip mall shop to buy parts.
I took my iMac home and was able to fix it myself thanks to youtube and the internet.

This is a highly unreliable repair shop. Either they give you lower quotes to bait people in or have no clue of what they are doing.

I try my best to see the good in people and am very hesitant to give lower ratings, Giving 2 stars, Bcz at least one person at the shop was apologetic understood it's their mistake.

My technically challenged husband took his laptop to the Geeks and they fixed his problem in minutes. Great service!

They replaced my Mac Laptop screen, service was good, I was able to have work completed within 2 weeks time.

I called Surrey Geeks as I thought it was a small company. I have been confused about a move from Google (at 85 I am a digital idiot) and the transfer of lost data (200 photos, 150+ pages of a book being written) as the result of Apple Genius bar deleting my hard drive without my permission. The only response was "that they do not do recovery. " However I think they fired the Genius that did it.but i am left with 2 printers that I need to replace So I came to Surrey Geeks for help with the my confusion.
They have been very professional, at the same time remedied the confusion I was left with. I would recommend them to anyone.

I took my MacPro in for diagnostic, Satinder was more than helpful. I was in a rush and he got it figured out within a day. After he diagnosed it, he broke down exactly what was happening with my computer, told me exactly what caused my issues, and exactly what to buy. There was zero pressure to buy any of his products (which was still very reasonably priced). Probably the most knowledgeable repair shop in town! Highly recommended!

Great service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were able to fix my issue after I tried to troubleshoot it for an entire day. They truly go above and beyond in their work, 10/10!
