Surrey Libraries - Fleetwood Branch

Libraries are some of our last organizations of education and truth. They must be protected and supported.

This is my love! You can register at the library for free, you only have an ID card with you (if you don’t have an ID yet, then a rental agreement). It’s just that if you have a residence permit in Vancouver or Richmond, then the Surrey libraries will not be available to you.

You can borrow a book from the library for three weeks, then you need to return it or renew it. There are also many study materials for preparing for the English exam. The library organizes many different clubs, such as a reading club, a speaking club for all levels of English (free), etc. There are plenty of computers that you can use for half an hour, and just a work area with desks, and you bring your own laptops.

But the most important feature is that they give you the opportunity to add audiobooks and regular ones to the application, read and listen for free! Unfortunately, without a library card, you will not have access to the application. This is a great opportunity to improve your hearing and, of course, not waste time in transport. I've already listened to 5 parts of Harry Potter.

This place is amazing has all types and sorts of books it has free computer usage as long as ur quiet has a park next door varying in ages 2-12 multiple staff are very nice just remember if your book is not in tiptop condition and you don’t tell them that you did it with it and you’ll end up paying for it but it’s not that much of a cost actually

The library is maintain really well, staff was really helpful throughout the process of registration!

Nicely maintained and excellent study environment. Staff very friendly and professional. Have added lot of reading stuff. They Have added many new reading material. Very latest books in English and other languages are available now. Very nice place for students to study with free Wi-Fi.

The library is great have a good sections also for DVDs, and have a park beside it so if you want to go with kids this is a fun place

I have had several bad experiences returning books at this branch! They go through the books with a fine comb, whereas I have received books in not so-great condition from other locations! Beware that your book is in tip-top shape when you borrow it, or else you will end up buying it!

The library is neatly maintained with nicely supporting staff. It’s having variety of books and available for 3 week loan period. We can renew the books over online as well. The printing service is also offered at affordable cost.

Worst experience, staff is too noisy with the customers and customers also don’t know how behave in the library.

+Ve's: lot of parking, programs for kids.play area in the park for kids and few exercise equipment available to everyone. -ve's: Loud and noisy, small library always noisy, even people sitting inside the library talk a bit louder. The outside area is always noisy with tutoring people or seniors gathering. The tutoring people or seniors doesn't care about students sitting there and studying for their exams. Not a good one to study for people who prefer a quiet place.

I grew up living around this library and joined many of the programs it offers. It has a great community, the reading book clubs hosted by Claire are educational and fun! A lot of parking space and places to sit down. The only thing I would change is that its a bit loud sometimes for a library. Seats are usually taken mid day.

Overall a pretty decent library if you want to come in and spend some time studying. Situated in a peaceful area. Staff is friendly and helpful. There's only one level so noises can sometimes distract you if you don't have headphones on.
Would be great if they extended the hours on some days though. Closes too soon for some people.

Rude employee. Heavy set elderly white woman. Very aggressive and curt. No need for that type of behavior. If you can’t conduct yourself in a respectful manner then get another job. I would suggest avoiding her to anyone reading this. January 17, around 10: 15-20am.
