I've had ongoing pain in my low back/radiating down my leg for years, to the point where I couldn't stand upright for more than 5 minutes at a time. I tried going to a chiropractor, an osteopath, and massage, but nothing was helping. I finally got an MRI and took my results to the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic. They connected me to an amazing physiotherapist, Shannen, who showed me which muscles to strengthen and which positions will aggravate my spinal stenosis/protruding disc. I can't believe it but after YEARS of this problem I've had a pain-free month. I only wish I had come sooner! Thank you Shannen:)

Every single staff member that I dealt with was so kind and friendly, and I believe the positive environment hugely contributed to my successful recovery after a concussion. She is an amazing Physiotherapist with a passion to keep up with the latest advancements in her field. Part of her amazingness is her personality, so kind and upbeat but also firm and encouraging. I cannot say enough good things about the amazing group of clinicians that I worked with — or simply interacted with — during my gradual return to work process. Not only are their specific clinical treatments remarkable, but their interpersonal skills are the absolute cherry on top! I found my experience at Neuroplasticity Centre to be unforgettable! I was part of a two-week research trial. Isis the kinesiologies who worked with me each day was such a huge help and was so encouraging! Also the office staff were very helpful. I’m continuing to work on the exercises and believe it will be helpful to me.

I felt in very good hands today at the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic. My Assessment with Mathieu Gagnon, Kinesiologist, had top of the line diagnostic tools assess my movement and balance. Mathieu made me feel safe, comfortable and heard as I went through the assessment. He clearly explained my results and treatment plan. Highly recommend Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic!

I traveled 3,000 miles, and stayed in Surrey for 26 days to be a part of a clinical trial at the Surrey Neuroplasticity Center and I had THE MOST AMAZING experience. The staff was extremely professional, knowledgeable and hands on. I worked closely with Trineta and Brodie, both ROCKSTAR physiotherapists. They educated me so much on neuroplasticity. I left the center with a ton of knowledge on how to slow down the progress, or possibly even reverse some of my movement disorder symptoms, with the exercises they taught me. I cannot say enough about the center! The work they do at the center for people with brain disorders and injuries is incredible! 10 stars & 2 thumbs up! It was an experience that I will never forget!

Highly recommend SNPC! When I phoned in to book, Mash was very clear and helpful and easily found me a time that worked with my schedule. I booked in and saw Brodie for a shoulder injury that’s bothered me since last March. Brodie quickly identified what was causing me pain, gave me some helpful education on the area and also taught me how to do some exercises which are already providing some much needed relief! Thanks Brodie and Mash!

I am working on my concussion under Trineta Bhojwani. She is really hard-working and comes with different plans to help me in my recovery.

They deserve to get a5 star especially my OT Trenita and my massage therapist Braedon kudos to both of you, thank you both for helping me to get through all my suffering!

Anne-Marie was very professional and articulated. The compassion in her voice and understanding made is easy to open and elaborate on the areas that we will be working on. Her comforting demeanor sealed the deal into carrying on with more sessions with her. My overall first experience was more then a five star but could only give her five. I strongly recommend her if anyone is looking for an amazing therapist.

I had an amazing experience with an OT here, Melissa—she has since left the clinic. I would give her and the admin staff five stars.

Unfortunately I had one of the worst intake experiences of my life with Tori (physio). She didn’t seem to be actually listening to what I was saying and was patronizing. She recommended treatment pathways I had already pursued that didn’t get results and also advocated for a very oversimplified understanding of chronic pain. I have since found an incredibly helpful physio elsewhere and am seeing results.

I know the reviews for SNPC are largely great and I think their clinical trials and equipment are cutting-edge by Canadian standards. They also offer coordinated care, which is valuable. That being said, listen to your gut. I’m very happy I got to work with Melissa and equally happy that I didn’t continue with Tori.

I’ve been struggling with right leg pain for many years. I’ve seen my family doctor and have been referred to many specialists. I’ve tried so many different physiotherapists, chiropractors and massage therapists and no one has been able to figure out why Ive been having terrible right leg nerve pain. After my 1st session with Brodie he did such a thorough assessment and thought he knew what my problem was. He treated me based on his assumption and the next day, for the first time in years, I had some relief. Ive been seeing Brodie regularly ever since and I cant believe its taken so many years, handful of specialist doctors and physiotherapists who couldn’t figure out what was wrong for me to finally find a clinician who took the time and care and had the expertise and knowledge to properly find my problem and address it. I’ve sometimes also seen Mathieu when Brodie was unable to see me and he did an amazing job to provide me laser therapy and work on my right leg and knee. I can’t believe I was close to being put on a waiting list for total knee replacement therapy because my doctor didn’t know what else to do, and now I can play with my granddaughter and hold her. Thank you Brodie for caring.

Five stars for Trineta Bhojwani and the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic. I saw Trineta for vestibular treatment for an MVA related concussion. The results of her care speak for themselves. She is amazing. She's compassionate, focussed, aware and extremely knowledgeable. Trineta is wonderful. It's hard to find physiotherapists who understand and have experience treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). Trineta has been helping me regain my strength after an extended period of bedrest.

Very Professional and helpful for concussion recovery, would recommend have been working with Trineta would not have recovered from concussion without the help of surrey neuroplasisticty clinic they were 20 times more helpful with concussions than my family doctor

Phenomenal experience with Mathieu Gagnon as he performed low level laser treatment on my shoulder. He is extremely knowledgeable and answers all my questions thoroughly and professionally. On my way to my first session I couldn't even reach my seatbelt due to pain in my shoulder from a bad fall and as soon as I left the clinic that day, I could already grab my seatbelt again and felt a noticeable difference. The treatment really works to speed healing and you can feel the difference after every session! I am really looking forward to continuing my treatment and I am already wanting to try it on other parts of my body that never fully recovered from past injuries!

TBI Healing: The healing that has taken place in my brain resulting from combining the PoNS device and physiotherapy at the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic (SNPC) in Surrey BC has been phenomenal. I have been receiving treatment from Trineta Bhojwani (physiotherapy) and Zara (OT) for months now after being involved in a car accident that caused physical injury and a concussion. I have seen a steady improvement overtime and I am so happy to be coming back to the person I was prior to this accident. Both of these women are compassionate and thorough with care. There were many times when I felt so out of sorts and sad because of how the accident affected me physically and emotionally. Trineta and Zara have helped me immensely in my recovery process and I would recommend care from either of these professionals if you find yourself needing help in recovery from physical injury or concussion.

I met and worked with Kevin H.at SNPC for purposes around how to successfully remain at work, with a positive mindset.
When I first walked through the doors at SNPC, my mood and demeanor was quite low and wasn't able to find many glimpses of brightness.
Kevin provided me with resources catered to my needs, at that current time in my life. What more can one ask for when needing help, when what's being offered specifically solves ones hardship? Kevin's a confident, understanding, compassionate, and is knowledable in this area of work. From my first appointment with Tori at Surrey Neuroplasticity, I have been blown away and so grateful for the comprehensive, well-coordinated, and thoughtful care I have received. I can’t imagine how I would be managing my condition without Kevin, Mat and Tori. The administrative staff, Emily and Chelsea, are extremely well organized and helpful. I have so much appreciation for all of them.

It’s an expensive treatment, but it works if you’re constant and work hard.
I improve a lot with my balance, a little with my walk and I have regained mussels in my legs.
I've seen improvements with my balance after a week of treatment. I recover quickly when I’m tired. I can stand up longer.
They teached me to walk again and to have good postures.
I finished the treatment two weeks ago, I recommend doing the treatment for everyone with MS.

I have a severe TBI. This clinic gave me care that made my previous rehab clinics look like a sad joke. They use a lot cutting edge technology/neuroscience and are so warm and encouraging. Worth every penny, changed my course of recovery. I used PoNS for cognition and it also improved my fatigue symptoms.

My son who is 52 years old, sustained a severe head injury (diffuse axonal injury) in May 2006, following a motor vehicle accident. One of the most severe brain injury. He was in a coma for 6 months. Doctors recommended that he be transferred to a long term care facility.

We underwent numerous therapies to allow him to come out of his coma and to begin regaining his movements. This included Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, the Lokomat Therapy as well as numerous physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, etc. He was very fortunate to have been supported by a group of reliable, trustworthy and caring professionals.

In June 2020, he undertook the 14 week intensive PoNS Program at the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic. We had attended numerous presentations on the benefits of this new therapy and were very optimistic on its benefits.

This clinic has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The positive traits instill confidence and reassurance, which are most important for individuals who are recovering from a brain injury. The feeling of comfort and safety is vital when placed into an area outside your comfort zone.

Below are some of the gains we have noticed following this program:

 An in increase in his confidence which is very noticeable in his day to day activities.
 An increase in his awareness of things like: proper head position and body alignment while walking, or when seated and resting.
 An increased in his stability and balance while standing or walking on his two feet.
 Now able to walk up and down 932 set of stairs in 30 minutes.
 Walking for 1 hour 15 minutes outdoor without a cane.
 Overall, the PoNS Program has made a substantial improvement in his quality of life.

I came here two months ago with Post Concussion Syndrome that I had for 3,5 years. I’ve seen many doctors and visited many clinics during this time, but all of them had little to no knowledge on how to treat me with all my symptoms.
Practitioners at Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic has SO much expertise on the PCS, treatments and management - I’m was overjoyed! They are on point on research and use latest technologies to test how your body works to determine what areas are affected and what needs to be worked on.
Everyone I’ve worked with (Juliet, Melissa, Alex, Mathieu and Jill) are not only great practitioners, but they are very pleasant people and have great bedside manners.
I could write much more, but the most important thing that I am finally feeling better, after all this years of not able to work, care for my children or do simple tasks, I’m improving! I’m actually thinking of my future and what I will do when I fully recover! This is huge!

This clinic is both professional and provides a warm and caring environment. Dr Ryan D'Arcy and his knowledgable team helped our daughter Emma in so many ways. The PONS helped to improve her balance significantly. In addition, by using it in combination with the skills of an experienced speech therapist she was able to speak more clearly following an illness that robbed her of her speech.
I would highly recommend the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic and I would especially encourage those people who have almost given up to check them out. Their "can do " approach is motivating and above all they get results.

As a five year post stroke patient my experience with Surrey clinic was very positive. My static balance improved substantially. I also have more confidence walking without a cane. The staff at the clinic was very encouraging and knowledgeable. They were also very accommodating. I highly recommend the PoNS treatment especially if you can visit the clinic weekly.

Vic really benefitted from the program and definitely saw improvement in his speech, his hand movements and his balance. The therapists were remarkable, took great interest in Vic's progress and were extremely professional, kind and thorough. The PoNS treatment is a fairly new treatment for TBI, but I was pleasantly surprised how well the clinic is organized. The premises are big, bright and very pleasant. The staff from the front desk to the therapists to the management are very friendly and approachable. My therapist, Juliet, has amazed me with her professionalism and her knowledge. Her instructions are clear and precise which makes it easy for me to follow them. This program is very intense, but she makes it fun and easy to follow. She always celebrates my successes with me and points out my mistakes in a gentle way without making me feel bad. In this place I have seen a few success stories and few weeks into my treatment I strongly believe that I will be one of them. I have been in physiotherapy for five years, but since I joined this program my hope that I will have my life back seems more real. Thank you Juliet for your hard work and for making this program fun.

Every day, thanks to the PoNS treatment, I am relearning skills and abilities that have eluded me since my injury. I am constantly rediscovering abilities that I had forgotten were possible. I feel stronger and more energetic, comfortable for most of the day. I am reading complex professional writing, hiking in the many parks available to me, loving driving my car again, and talking up a storm because I’m so thrilled to visit with friends. Returning to Nana duties at my granddaughter’s ballet recital is sheer joy with the PoNS’ assistance! I am overjoyed to be returning to a busy, vibrant life after so many years of struggling with brain injury! I recently returned to my work, something the PoNS made possible! I am still improving noticeably every day so I am doing the Ongoing PoNS program to maximize my recovery.
