We need organizations like surrey womens centre to keep women safe and thriving in our society.surrey womens centre has always been there to help me.irrespective of what time of the day it is.be it support for my court case.helping flee abuse from my ex.or support for my housing.surrey women centre has helped in every aspect.their workers are kind and advocate on your behalf where ever needed.the executive director of the centre Shahnaz Rahman is a wonder woman. The most generous and kind person ive ever known.when I had problems with housing.she went out of the way to connect me to the right resources and escorted my kids and me to a safe place.everyone at surrey women centre will keep a followup with u until all the concerns has been solved.
For me if I am safe and sound today living in Canada is because of the support I got from surrey women centre and people like Shahnaz Rahman who are always willing to help in our thick and thin.

This place became my favourite place not because I get so much help from them but because every worker is super sweet, caring, helpful, cheerful, always ready to help, THANK YOU LADIES EVERY EACH OF YOU ARE WONDERFUL THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO TO HELP US AND TO MAKE OUR LIFE A BIT BETTER. THANK YOU!
*Updated*I won’t delete my comment because I did experienced bad service but I also got a lots of help from Laurie P. She got promoted in some other field but she still helped me so much with my case and she went overboard and out of her way just to help me and made me feel safe and comfortable and even helped me with my anxiety. She’s extremely supportive and the best in surrey women centre. I wish everyone can be that supportive and showed this much dedication towards their clients but it’s really hard to find good people like Laurie, she’s a true gem and a hardworking woman! She goes out of her way to help her clients and she makes sure she give the bestest advice, support and service that anyone else can offer. I’m changing my ️to ️️️️️ and those stars are only for Laurie! Thank you Laurie.

Extremely bad service! I have been trying to get help from them but past few months now because I have a RTB hearing coming and I got 3 different ladies each time I was booked for a appointment and they all got sick at the second appointments so then I had to wait a week or more to get a new lady and same thing happened I met her 1 time and booked a 2nd appointment to meet but cancelled it because she was sick and then I was told to call in on the 3rd July I had to wait 2 weeks for her and the day I was booked to meet her she called in sick this is ridiculous! Are they even here to help I don’t get that! I was told by the 1st lady to come in tomorrow and ask for the manager which I came but she’s not in! My court date is on the 11 July and it seems like they’re playing games or they are on my landlord side. I have been soo stressed and they aren’t even able to help with that either. What is the point of having places like this when they can’t even help when someone comes in and ask for help. It’s been 2-3 months I have been dealing with them and now I have less than a week left I’m going to have another panic attack, I really really don’t know where to get help anymore. This really sucks!

After failing to get a PAP at other medical centres, my sister sent me a link to Embrace and I easily made an appointment for the next month. I was very apprehensive about what to expect, due to bad experiences so far and coming from the UK where I've generally found seeing a doctor here difficult. However, the staff there were warm and friendly and I had wonderful reassuring appointment. I asked for every test and procedure available and they were happy to accommodate, as well as informative, chatty and caring. It's always a little awkward, but the practitioner made it light-hearted too. I am extremely grateful for the service they provided to me and all women. Thank you Embrace.
