I've been going regularly for nearly 2 years now and I love it. Daniella is hilarious and the class is fun, yet challenging. Highly recommended no matter what your fitness level is.

Daniela's workouts are tough! But accessible for everyone no matter what level you are starting at. She got me out of a covid fitness funk. The more I go to her classes, the more I want to go. She is hilarious and gets me laughing even at 6am on a Monday morning. I appreciate her singing. Yes singing. At 6am.

Daniela is incredible! She brings relentless energy and cheer every single morning for bootcamp. Her classes are fun and energizing, and I always leave feeling so much better than when I arrived. And my fitness has improved dramatically. Her classes are structured to accommodate all fitness levels, which allowed me to challenge myself from Day 1 right to today (day 1,000?) And her support knows no bounds. When she noticed I needed new workout shoes, she took it upon herself to find a sale on great shoes and email me to let me know. That demonstrates the degree to which Daniela will go above-and-beyond for her clients. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to improve their physical and/or emotional resilience.

Do yourself a favour and start working out with Daniela. You’re mental and physical health will thank you. In person or online, you’ll find a great workout, dedicated community and plenty of laughs. Oh ya and solid results!

This was my first boot camp experience and it was very positive, gave me the tune-up I was looking for in my exercise routine and I definately feel stronger.

The class leader Daniela is a true motivator, giving perfect balance of fun and pushing us to go hard!

I really liked being outside and all covid protocols were more than accomplished being outside spaced from eachother!

The atmosphere with the class is casual and fun but we get it done!

Would definitely do again! 5 star forsure

I have been going to bootcamp with Daniela for over a decade. It never gets boring thanks to the variety of routines, energy and humour that Daniela infuses into each class! Thank you Daniela for keeping me motivated and inspired to stay fit!

“Rest when you’re dead” she said. “Stephanie, what are you doing? Get up! ” she said. You might think “that’s what every trainer says”. But you are wrong. Daniela is different. Super motivating, hilarious and a singer too! Every week is different, every workout is different. With life being largely online, there is no excuse to not show up for bootcamp. I’m so glad to be a part of this group of fitness focused people.

I’ve been taking Daniela’s classes since 2016 and the results have been amazing! Get ready to be in the best shape of your life.

She’s very supportive on both a personal and professional level. She loves to stay in touch with everyone.

Any size, age or athletic ability is welcome in her classes. She’ll show you how to modify and then when you are stronger you can do the harder level.

Her zoom classes are easily accessible on a busy schedule.since there’s a morning and an evening time slot and you can go to whichever one is best for you.

I’ve lost 20 pounds since COVID-19, which kick started after enrolling in her 6 week challenge. Thanks for everything Daniela!

Daniela Duva is absolutely the best you can get as a fitness instructor. She really knows her stuff and easily modifies techniques to accommodate injuries. In addition, she is hilarious, which definitely makes it an enjoyable experience. You'll probably be pretty sore after the initial session, but I guarantee you'll feel like a million bucks!

Daniela is more than just a fitness instructor, she's a comedian, therapist, quizmaster, language tutor, historian ('80s TV & music is her speciality!) and singer amongst other things. She works us hard (that's what she said!) but we have fun doing it. Thanks for everything you do, Daniela!

Daniela makes you laugh and whips you into shape at the same time! I have been taking her class for the last 7 months and have enjoyed every moment of it, and am the strongest I have ever been. How can you beat that?

Daniela is an entertainer masquerading as a fitness instructor! Stand up Comedy? Opera? Funky Dance Moves? It's all there! But also she will whip your whiny butt into shape! Some mornings I feel like the amount of laughing I do in this class is just another awesome part of the workout!

I am so grateful to have joined this community and to have Daniela as my instructor! I look forward to every one of her classes! If it were not for work, I'd be coming five days a week! Every day is different, challenging and so fun that you'll never want to go back to the gym again. Since joining in April, I feel stronger and better than ever. I highly recommend you try a free class, you will not regret it!

We have been with Daniela at Survivor Bootcamp for 10 years! She makes working out at 6am bearable and enjoyable. Survivor (and Daniela's encouragement) are the best workout around.

Daniela is a fantastic instructor! She makes the workouts fun and engaging. She has also managed to make every session different and suitable for all fitness levels. I was specifically looking for an outdoor fitness class and I was so happy to have found this one. Highly recommended!:)

I’ve been attending Daniela’s morning classes for about 5 months now, and it’s the only exercise regime I’ve managed to stick to so far, largely because of Daniela herself: she’s a stand-up comedian tragically stuck in a fitness instructor’s body, which makes our bootcamp sessions a lot more enjoyable than torture ever should be.
Her humour, disturbing stories and quirky East Van anecdotes/restaurant tips/running shoe sale alerts make holding a plank for 2 minutes almost bearable.
But her encouragement, friendship, welcoming cheer and inclusiveness is probably why so many of us wake up at an ungodly hour each morning to do reverse squats and burpees before we’ve even had coffee. At the start of each session I wonder why I’m there, yet by the end of it I feel exhilarated, less of loser, and truly ready to tackle the rest of the day. TRY IT!

I am grateful for having this opportunity, to wake up in the early morning, 6AM, to workout in a FUN and FRIENDLY atmosphere, every day is different, the exercise really pays off.

Speaking of the trainer. Any trainer usually falls under one of these two categories:
1. Super professional, knows what he/she is doing, will help you to be in shape. You'll like the fact that you got the six-pack abs, your chest and shoulders muscles are growing. But, who likes that? It is so boring!

2. Super fun, motivator, always encourage people, has sense of humor, makes you feel comfortable, and the list goes on. That's great, but if the exercise doesn't help to elevate your body and mind, and you don't see any progress every day, then it is useless.

Daniela is a mix between both! So, you never get bored and you always stay in shape.

I highly recommend Survivor Fitness in East Van! Daniella is an awesome instructor. She has the ability to make me laugh while I'm working out at 6am. (and would really rather be in bed). Between that and the fact that I actually see results, it's all worth while!

The class is approachable and inviting. My partner and I immediately wanted to sign up again once we finished the 6 week challenge.

Do yourself a favour and sign up.ps. There is a 6pm time slot as well.

Daniela took me on as a client when no-one else would, (due to a medical complication). She welcomed me into her Survivor family with open arms and single handedly helped me regain my confidence in fitness. I will forever be thankful to her for the workouts, the community, the laughs and the friendship.

I've been going to Survivor Fitness East Vancouver for nearly 10 years. It is the ONLY exercise program I have ever stuck to and that's very specifically because of Daniela. She offers classes that are consistently challenging but not so much so that I feel like a fool if I don't get things right. There's a lot of variety so it doesn't get old, and she's encouraging and funny, which makes the hour fly by! It's not always easy to get out of bed early and make it to class, but I'm always glad when I do!

You will not get a better workout anywhere else. Daniela is funny, motivating and very welcoming. She is a knowledgeable trainer and most days the workout passes quick because she's making you laugh. There is a community feel at her class, where your kids and dogs are welcome! If you want the best workout you can get, in a comfortable environment just sign up and try it out

I joined boot camp 2.5 years ago and I seriously can't think of a better way to start my day then to get my butt kicked by Daniella's boot camp classes. I love the variety of her workouts each day and her corny sense of humor! JK! Most importantly I love how I feel after class and throughout the day. Thanks Daniella, your the best!

I joined Survivor Fitness almost 2 years ago and it's the one of the best fitness decisions I've ever made. It's conveniently timed twice a day so there's no excuse not to go. The classes are an hour long and fly by because of the ever changing workouts and Daniela's humour throughout. Daniela is motivating, knowledgeable, fun and caring. She knows her clients and truly cares about them. She'll kick your butt and you'll be grateful she did!
