Sushi 1.99 To Go

This sushi place is now one of my favourite places to have lunch! I’m so happy I found it. The prices are affordable, food is ready in about 5 minutes (I usually only order a roll or 2) and the service is amazing. The lady I’ve dealt with everyday this week is so sweet. I’m glad to support this local family owned business and will continue to do so for the yummy rolls.

This is a grab and go kind of sushi and it is quite delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with the taste AND the price. Great value!

If I could give them over 5 stars, I would, and I would highly recommend them! I'm just starting to get into sushi, and I wasn't sure about what to get. I ordered Pork Gyoza, Golden Roll, Hot Night Salmon Roll, Chicken Teriyaki Roll, and Dynamite Chicken Roll. It was soooooo good and very reasonably priced, I paid $40 for everything! It's affordable and very tasty! Please give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!

Excellent food, price, and service. I finally convinced my partner to eat the shrimp tails from the dynamite rolls. Most delicious that I’ve ever tasted! The tempura batter was fluffy and flavourful.
I’ve already planned this place to be my final BC meal when we move away from the province this summer.

Two consecutive days this location could not serve me due to being overloaded with orders and running out of supplies.

Both times were between 12-4pm. I would love to give this place a fair chance but really having trouble doing so.

Edit: No thanks, I will just eat somewhere else.

Every. Single. Time. I come here, no matter what time of day or what day of the week, they are "too far behind" or out of sushi. Supposed to be a quick lil spot but it's just a huge waste of time. Don't bother.

Blown away by the taste and price! They are so busy that the online order was closed at 4pm. Hot night roll and tiger roll was soooooo good! Definitely will go back for more.

Amazing sushi, kind and friendly staff, cute little shop. And great prices - the Tray A is the best deal going, my husband and I get it every time.

Just moved walking distance to Sushi 1.99 and ordered pickup online tonight.the order was ready in less time than expected, the staff were so friendly and everything was DELICIOUS.had low expectations because of the name and the low prices, but we were really impressed! $53 for 8 rolls and a soup (our favourite was the "crazy boy" roll) even the bamboo chopsticks were great quality definitely would recommend!
update: have been back multiple times and always great food, perfectly prepared!

We were passing through and need some good food. They were busy, so we would recommend ordering in advance (call ahead). All the food was made with quality ingredients and was very satisfying. Good service as well. They are close to highway #1 and easy to get to if you need to pick up some sushi on your way out of or into the area. If you like sushi and you’re on the go, then this is a good spot to check out. We will keep it in mind for our road trips.

I live North Vancouver. I heard about this Sushi restaurant's good reputation. So I went to Langley to get this amazing dish.
It's worthy to go there.
Portion was huge, cost is very reasonable.

They only do take out but the owners were really lovely and the portions and flavors for the value was amazing.

The best sushi in Lower Mainland. We have been frequent customers for two years now and the quality is always top notch. You get a great deal for the price too.

Not sure why the reviews are so good, that was not good sushi. Everything smells fishy and very very low quality.

The Prices have increased! But the quantity and quality hasn't! Not worth it anymore! Used to buy Party Tray A for hangouts at 21$ now it's 28$+ tax! Other places offer better quality and more for the price while being only a $ more

I ordered take out lunch today, the meat in Beef teriyaki roll smells stinky and it wasn’t fresh. Another thing is that I am pretty sure this is pork instead of beef, and I have a serious allergy to pork. There is a food safety problem in your restaurant, I have a concern about the safety of food in your restaurant.

This is our favourite place for takeout sushi! The owners are always very nice, portions are good, and prices are reasonable. They get quite busy later in the day and sell out quick, so I would recommend scheduling your orders in advance, so they could plan ahead.

Best take out sushi ever! Their lunch bentos are very generous with their portions. We usually like to do the small tray for dinner with a side of tempura. Sometimes they have long waits but they’re worth it. Their BC roll and Alaska roll are super tasty. The owners are very sweet as well-just a couple trying to make ends meet. And doing so by sharing their delicious food!

I've heard good review from this place and it's decently priced but it's kinda far for me. The sushi is great. If you're in the neighborhood definitely don't hesitate to stop by. Order an hour in advance otherwise you'll be out of luck. I usually order if I'm out of town and heading back home.

Took a chance and ordered take out based of the good reviews but thought I'd put my own review as my experience was totally different. The salmon seemed 'off', it had that translucent look that it wasn't fresh and had an odd taste. I could not finish my meal.

The sushi was good but the hot food was below average. Was not really impressed. The teriyaki sauce tasted very vinegary and completely tained the dish. Tempura was also a very weird thick batter almost like fish and chips. Wouldn't recommend for their hot food but their sushi was decent.

The sushi here is amazing! I always get the Tray A which is huge and there is so much variety in the platter. The cost is less that what I would pay for 2 special rolls someplace else and the lady owner is so incredibly sweet / friendly and she sometimes give me an extra pop as well and I always get a little extra container with a roll and little egg rolls in it:) I would definitely recommend this place.

Came by on the afternoon of Oct. 2, staff refused to take our order and said they were "too busy". So we left empty. I've never had this happen at any other restaurant.

Sushi is surprisingly good for the price (comparable to any other decent sushi place but with way cheaper prices) and the service here is exceptional. They were patient when my card got declined 3 times and even offered us freebies since we were waiting a while (only 10-15 minutes). We ordered the sockeye salmon sashimi and they gave us extra salmon sashimi to compensate for smaller salmon that day. We were debating between this place and a more expensive one and we are so glad we ended up choosing this one- looking forward to coming back next time we're in town.

This little sushi place serves one of the best sushi I have ever had. Don't let the simplicity of the place deceive you. It serves high quality sushi maki and nigiri. The ratio of the rice and filling is just perfect. Reasonably priced and friendly service. Highly recommended. Let them cater for your next sushi party.

We visited several sushi restaurants while in Vancouver, but this one really stood out. It was a very simple little restaurant, the sushi was cheap and delicious!

The first time I went in here they were out of rice and it was a half hour wait so we ended up leaving.but I knew I wanted to give this place another chance and I was not disappointed on our return visit. Delicious, fresh sushi at great prices. Very friendly staff. Small shop with limited seating and sometimes parking can be tough to find, but worth the hassle. Highly highly recommend this place!

First time trying out this sushi restaurant and definitely coming back. Friendliest owners and amazing portions and quality. So glad we discovered it!

Small restaurant with big taste, always great for a stop on the way out of town. Great value in their combo plates and super friendly.

Utilitarian decor and layout but decent quality food, big portions, and affordable prices. Not the most extensive menu but lots of options considering the size of the place. Had the Crunch Special Combo and was stuffed afterwards. Staff were super friendly. Easy access to the Trans Canada in both directions.

SUCH great value! My husband and I got roll combo b and roll combo c, but we should have just split one. It is so much food that we'll eat them for both lunch and dinner today. Very tasty too and friendly service. We will be visiting here again soon!

The owners are super friendly and the sushi is delicious. Also, the prices can't be beat. All of these reasons make it my favourite sushi place!
