Sushi California

Prices have gone up, but still very fresh with great turnover. I’ve eaten here dozens of times and always been very happy with my meal.

We ordered here for one of our employees birthday lunch and requested that they label and pack each order separately to distribute through the office. They packaged everything perfectly, gave HUGE amounts of ginger and wasabi and everything was so fresh! Thank you so much for everything! We will be ordering again soon:)

Very good service. A bit of a wait to get seated, but that's usually a good sign. And, the wait was worth it. Excellent Deluxe Sushi Combo. We really enjoyed the Tempura Vegetables as well. The Seafood Udon had plenty seafood in it as well. Very generous portion on the salmon sashimi. Delicious all the way around.

Always great food. We ordered both from north Surrey and Langley locations, at different times. Both great.

This was Langley location. Foods and services are good but the sashimi wasn’t professionally sliced (so I took off one star). I think my teenager could cut better, but they were big and thick sizes.

the prices are good for the portions served, and there are many yummy items in the menu that should be tried (i would recommend the entire menu if i could). My personal fav besides the sushi from here is the mentaiko tiger prawn linguine, so

Ordered takeout. Disgusting food. Sashimi was not even cut. Will never be back. Fish had a strange chemical smell to it too.

The rolls are super yummy and delicious! Friendly staff, clean. Our go to for sushi! Great pick up service too!

Sushi California is always the go-to place for us whenever we visit from the sushi-drought Edmonton. We've started out with the Broadway location in Vancouver which was our staple location when we lived in Vancouver, tried the Lougheed one and lastly this Langley location given its proximity to family's place in Langley. Food is always consistent across all locations, service is always friendly and I feel that the price point is fair.

Went with a few friends, got a corner table, it was really dark, couldn't read the menu properly. We all got a few different things and shared. Food was really good. My favorite was the kalamari roll. Not sure if I would go back.

My favorite Sushi chain in Vancouver and I'm therefore humbly stoked and super lucky that they have a few locations scattered around Greater Vancouver. The quality, grade of quality, taste and freshness of the sushi is always super up to scratch at a fantastic competitive value with a sweet dining area and classic menu.
Pretty much a common order for me today with some super yummy Takoyaki たこ焼き, huge fat and stuffed Yam Tempura Roll さつまいもの天ぷら and Dynamite Rolls 炸虾卷. I also tried the Unagi Roll ウナギ for a first time which was dope! Incredibly tasty and good portions. As always, top off this awesome experience with a classic Tamago Roll 玉子焼き, you can never go wrong. Brown rice options are phenomenal at a small added value but totally worth trying to mix things up.
The staff are super friendly, approachable, efficient and talented at making incredibly delicious food and atmosphere. A cute and quaint vibe in this laid back joint makes it a great option always.

Our favourite sushi restaurant in Langley. They are very generous with the sashimi portions even though the price has increased over the past year due to supply costs.

Sushi California has been our go to sushi restaurant since the beginning. Langley is the newest location so we’ve been trying it out. Sushi is always fresh and good like always. Only lost a star because the servers are not very prompt with taking orders/checking on customers if they need anything else. They sat us in the corner and no one approached us for 15 minutes even when the restaurant was not busy. I had to stand up and grab their attention. Happened again the second time unfortunately- waved them down.

One of my favorite sushi place in Langley. Quality and freshness comes standard and while service was nothing remarkable, I had zero problems here after multiple visits. The udon portion size is a little smaller than other places but their sushi is great.

Absolutely delicious sushi. Has been our "go to" for sushi in Langley since they opened. Not anymore. Usual order of Roll Master Combo and Scallop & Asparagus Tempura roll was $20 on Tuesday. Today, on Friday, the price was $28. The Roll Master Combo went from $12.95 to $18.95. An almost 50% increase due to "inflation" we were told. All other Sushi California locations are still charging $12.95 for the same dish. An almost 50% increase overnight is just a slap in the face to long-time customers.

Was pressed for time so we didn't want to sit in and eat. Ordered take out at the door and got our 4 rolls in 10 minutes! They were packed up nicely and tasted TERRIFIC! The crunch munch roll had an amazing sauce and the dynamite roll did not disappoint. Would love to come back and dine in again some day as the place looked quite clean, safe and cozy. Very glad to have finally checked this place out after numerous recommendations from friends and colleagues.

Always a happy tummy everytime I come here. The price is excellent and food is amazing. I always order the Chirasi. Ask for the Korean Chirasi Don. Its not on the menu but its sooooo filling and its a biggggg bowl. You can share it with somebody and youll both have happy tummies.

Place deserves some renovation, but overall really good. The food is on the top tier list in Vancouver. Go ahead and see for yourself.

If i could rate this place a 0/5 i would. I placed a to go order they got it wrong. They wouldn’t compromise for a refund or resolve the issue. Very unprofessional. Horrible customer service.

I ve been to all Sushi California in Lower Mainland, but this Langley branch has the best quality of service and food!

Fast service and excellent food though the staff can be a bit non attentive. I had to ask 4 times for a new napkin and then ended up getting it from 2 different servers.

A fantastic restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, helpful staff, and wide selection of old favourites and new takes on sushi and other similar cuisine!

Sushi California is always incredible.
The rolls are a good size, the ingredients are always fresh and the prices are fair.

We like the ability to put our order in online rather than on the phone so that we can take time to view the menu and see pics of the items.

Staff are very friendly when we come to pickup and are skilled at managing all the people picking up effectively.

The Alaska roll is my favourite.
Avo inside, salmon on top and then a garlicy-soy-y sauce on top. I don't know why I get anything else because the Alaska rolls really are the best.

Very nice sushi restaurant. It was very busy. And the waitress were very friendly. It is delicious and halal have reasonable prices. I guess I will go back there someday later

Stopped by for lunch today, was very pleased with my experience. Vaccine passports properly scanned, proper distancing between tables, hand sanitizer available at every table, digital menus. Service from start to finish was fast, friendly, and prompt. Very reasonable pricing, and the sushi rolls were filling and delicious. Will definitely return.
